Ever since I unlocked my Atrix HD and started flashing roms apps can't seem to find the sd card. For example, the gallery does not show pictures I've taken with my phone or that I have downloaded. Anyone else havng this problem? It's extremely frustrating.
Mine was doing that for awhile. Ended up having to fastboot stock and do a clean flash. You running uxlyon by chance?

I have an old Motorola D1 that I do not use anymore. It has been rooted and rommed (I forgot which rom has been flashed onto it though). It also has a 16gb sd card in it that I want to use for my Nook Color. If I pull that card out of the D1 and format it, have I doomed the D1 to brickness or will everything be good to go? I was going to keep my D1 as a back up in case anything happens to my Samsung Fascinate. I thank you in advance for info. Cheers.

I wouldn't think so.. I removed my SD card to partition it, and my Milestone is just fine ever since.

I bought one of those sd cards pre loaded with CM7 on eBay because I dont feel comfortable yet with the whole android modding. Other than putting in that SD Card I have done nothing to my nook, no rooting, or anything. SO, how can I put MIUI on an sd card and just pop it in like the CM7 one without any modding? Thanks!
you can boot cm7 From sd without root!?
didnt know it was Possible.

The easiets and IMHO best method is to use this. Copy your MIUI file... rename the copy adding update-cm- to the beginning of it and use it where the instructions say CM7.

Yes... since the NC is hard programmed to boot uSD first, there is NO NEED for rooting stock to boot any other ROM from uSD. Several people do this to maintain warranty while using other AOSP OS's.
cool didnt Know that. boot from sd would be great on other android too. DHD is dual booting now.
So i tried to give my atrix HD more internal memory by swapping them but when i did the process it didn't work 100% but i had progress.. after that i returned every thing back to the original state before i started.. when i inserted my sd card back in my phone and i went to my system settings and when i click on storage it says settings is not responding... but with the SD card removed i can go into storage and see all my internal data.. can someone show me the way to getting my SD card back at the least and maybe even helping me switch my member slots.. thanks in advance

Yep. Or you could try a factory reset first. But I did that and ended up having to flash back to stock.

Ok I did that. But that still didn't work.. would flashing a whole new rom work to?
And how do you have your signature atthe bottom of all your messages
That's what I had to do was flash a new rom. And just the settings in the app.

Well i have flashed the new roms and stock ones.. what format is the SD card suppose to be in for the atrix to read it
That I'm not sure. I'd just format it from the phones settings.

Currently, I've tried all from the Batakang series, Nexesque, and AOSPizza, and only Batakang Rises has worked on AT&T. What other ROMs work on AT&T? I'm also having an issue with Batakang Rises. I editted the build.prop to get rid of the nav bar and the status bar disappeared too. I was using SS3, but I'm gonna try again with Rom Manager to try to get it to work.
All the roms in this forum work on att man.. And 75% of the RAZR HD roms do with a couple file changes. Also if your unlocked just use cwm delete safestrap

I'm trying Rom Manager right now, and it won't let me flash the Gapps with the Batakang Rises, limit is 1 zip.
And how do I get all the other roms to work with AT&T? They would never pick up signal.
Yeah because that's not the actual recovery. Go into cwm's actual recovery and you can flash 1 after the other. And I haven't any signal problems.. Are your apn's correct?

How do I go into the actual recovery? I press "boot into recovery" in Rom Manager and it takes me to fast boot which is confusing. And none of the ROMs will let me change my APN settings, its always greyed out.
Is your boot loader unlocked?

CM10,
And if your in the lte zone, add this to your build.prop
Code:
ro.telephony.default_network=9
ro.ril.def.preferred.network=9

No. That's the tool to root it.. You got it out of thread for rooting did you not? Lol. There's a how to unlock your bootloader thread. Go to that one.

You still haven't told me how I can get the other ROMs on AT&T. I have searched, but can't find it.
The roms for the razr HD will run on it. Then you just have to fix wifi and lte.

They wouldn't get any signal at all, it wasn't just LTE. I couldn't text or call.
Follow this guide. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2165746
I've used almost every razr HD rom and they all have worked.

Alright, so I finally tried to use CWM/Rom Manager to flash AOSPizza and fix LTE/Wifi, and told it to backup the current rom and wipe it, then I flashed both the rom and Gapps. Then I rebooted and it was still on stock with nothing but stock system apps and Rom Manager. I tried to restore from that backup it did. But guess what? It wiped everything and erased the backup it JUST ****ING MADE. Thanks everyone for the stock Atrix HD. At least I had separate backups with Titanium.
Good joke guys, now how do I really flash ROMs?
Now every time I turn my phone on, it says the "System is upgrading" and that it's "Starting apps...". It's really a pain in the ass to download all my apps again, with them saying they're already installed, so I have to search each one in the Play Store on my phone and install them manually. And they don't queue so I need to wait for one to finish before I tell another to download.
And, yet again, more problems. Using LMT because I hate the on-screen buttons, and the "menu" and "back" options do nothing. Meaning I can't go back a page or bring up menus.
Also according to Titanium Backup I lost my root.
Did you mount the system before flashing? No one else is having these issues.

Today I went to school, came back, and now my PC won't recognize my phone, and vice-versa. Any advice?
USB ports were screwed up, got that fixed.
Mounted /system, flashed CM10 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2228597) and it sticks on the spinning boot logo. I'm an idiot. I didn't follow directions...
Alright, now I got it up and running, got LTE fixed, but I can't fix wifi because it won't let me connect to my phone over USB. It says USB debugging is enabled with the notification, but it won't show me on my PC.
I rooted and unlocked my bootloader. I then decided to try some new ROMs. I installed PAC and used it for a lil while. I then downloaded another. Did the install. It said Install Complete. But when I rebooted, PAC was still there. Figured I accidentally installed the same one again, so I went to the SDCARD and deleted it. Then tried again. No change.
Yes I formatted Cache and did factory reset. No change.
What am I missin?
Phone is Moto Atrix HD
Did you mount the system on the new install? Or did you install aokp? Because it looks pretty similar.
Sent from my PACMAN MATRIX HD MAXX
Mount the system? Please explain.. Please!
Go to mounts and mount system from within cwm.

Mount the SD Card or Mount System?
Pretty sure I said mount the system. Not the SD Card man.
Sent from my PACMAN MATRIX HD MAXX
Ok.. Mounted System.. Did the install again. Now its stuck in a loop.
Did I miss something?
Did you wipe data factory reset then mount then flash?
Sent from my PACMAN MATRIX HD MAXX
I did this time.. still looping
What rom are you trying?
Sent from my PACMAN MATRIX HD MAXX
first tried the CleanRom then tried AOKP 4.2.2. Loop on both
i had a similar issue trying to go from pac man to AOKP i ended up flashing stock with rsd and re rooted and flashed AOKP rom but you may not have to do that.
Well did you flash the stock kernel before trying to flash clean rom like the instructions say to do?
Sent from my PACMAN MATRIX HD MAXX
No I didn't. Obviously I don't read directions very well. So no I didn't.. Is there a way to just go back to stock and start all over again? What is RSD?

your problem was you flashed a rom over another without wiping anything it doesnt work like that my man.
Nothing against you but if you can't follow easy instructions on how to do things on your phone then that's how you brick your phone.
