Germany got the Xperia Z Update for the walkman app, but it didn't get the update for the album and the movies! Can i know how many people didn't get the update with the german xperia z generic software.

The Walkman work if u install the newer one, where someone post about makin the Walkman work on 4.1.2.
So far everything work fine for me. Quite an interesting ui as well as new features.

or just installed file on the device

Not work for me. C5303, no root, stock ROM.
Can't install.

I used to have a ZL with 4.2.2 from my carrier. I used to get regular updates such as walkman, music etc in my updates section.
Now i've a brand new Z - with 4.1.2 from the same carrier!! there are no further updates for Z from them
So instead of waiting I've gone ahead and flashed it with stock 4.3 ROM from here. everything seems to work fine so far.
But there is nothing in the updates seciton yet. for example the walkman app with this rom is old. Why am i not getting notified automatically about this? Is it because this ROM is not from my carrier?
If yes, will i not get any update notification?

If you are on 4.3 you should already have the latest apps and you will get notified of any updates in the update centre as they happen.

Then shouldn't I be getting the notification for the walkman and movies update? We already know there are newer versions of this released by sony.

It seems to be only for Xperia with 4.2+, and by the moment its confirmed for Z's family at least, someone with the 4.3 leaked can confirm if its available for T and V?
If google play dont let you install on T and V there is some way to made it work without installing Z1's camera mod? I supose maybe only need to install Z1's framework and get the .apk
Thanks to the one who test it, I have the V since a week ago, but im trying to calibrate the battery so i prefer dont be flashing 4.3 by the moment

Thank you, i'll wait for the official update to start trying the Z1 camera mods, hopefully they wont have any bugs if devs can use 4.3 to improve compatibility.
Anyway im looking for the apk file, maybe with some luck... All we know that gplay uncompatibility is not always system uncompatibility...
Timeshift apk is available for download on the forums. I can't remember exactly where I downloaded if from but can confirm it works perfectly on the leaked version of 4.3 for the Xperia T.

There is a flashable zip in Z themes section and also cybershot mod by rizal in cross development section.both work on 4.3 leak

I am having the same issue, I think something is wrong with Sony's servers right now.
When I update my TX to 4.3 and received this update it download the app install it when I did a factory reset to my phone it was actually having the same issues now I can't download the update

Try doing it again. Just downloaded it today. I noticed that it worked when the album apk icon showed up istead of the blueprint apk icon.

Since i update walkman and it is not working and continuesly crush i did had. 681 with the same problem which didnot solved out when updated to. 757
