Internal memory has 2 parts. 1st is system and another is internel for use of apps.
System space is used by firmware or roms u install. So u cannot free ur system space fully, but yes u can di it a little bit to enjoy ur rons speed!

Browse to system folder using root explorer or any other alternative and delete apps u dont want from app folder or lib files.
But, do this only if u know what u r doing!
U may soft brick ur device or end with a boot loop!

Hi,
with titanium backup I have seen that I have this situation:
- System ROM: 419 MB (free 199)
- Internal ROM: 440 MB (free 124)
when I choose application, I see the "Internal ROM" because I see that I've 124 MB free space for applications (a lot of apps are moved to SD)
But about System ROM? Where are that 199 MB free? How can I use them? "System ROM" it's the space occupied by ROM only? In that case it's better include some apps in ROM, to occupied that space and save "user app space"?
Or it's better have this situation?

I'm pretty sure that in titanium backup nowhere stands system & internal rom. Maybe system & internal storage.
Sure you can use your free system space. Just go into a file explorer under system/app/ and paste some .apk files into it. Give rwrr permissions and reboot.
You can also just use TB and use the "convert to system app" function.

Im very happy with it, only there is one problem: when i try to install a game about 10 / 20 mb market wont let my; not enough memory. But i have 60 mb free memory!

Move to SD card
CM7 allows to move several apps to sd card.
1) Go to Manage Apps, and move as many apps to sd card as possible.
2) Using System Tuner Pro, uninstall unnecessary apps.
3) When you update a system app, then original app is not removed, its still there (remember uninstall updates option instead of just uninstall app). They take up space.

Does insufficient storage mean 'USB storage' not enough'? Any way to solve this without root?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Other alternatives would be to move your apps from Phone to SD card (external memory card), every downloaded apps you have (look for it in Settings>applications>all, see if you can move the apps from Phone to SD card

But my device memory still has 202mb. The memory is 1g, I think this 'device memory' just part of 16g storage, is that correct?

if you are on stock rom.. u can uninstall some apps and free some system memory..
OP has a legitimate issue that has nothing to do with actual lack of space.
I had the problem before.
I cleared dalvik for the problem app under data/dalvik-cache.
That worked for me.

I found this tip on a website and the trick claims to increase your internal memory by about 40MB.... I can't paste the link because it's a website with some paid apps and xda may delete the thread if I do, so instead I've just copied and pasted the post, here it is...
Hey Guyz Today i come with a trick which will help You to Increase the internal memory of your device. Its the most easiest method and best of all... It requires no Root Access and no
need to partition Your SD Card!!! This method actually reduces your used memory. This easy way to gain at least 40 mb of internal storage on your phone:
1. open dialler, and press *#9900#
2. Then select 'copy to sd card'
3. Wait until finish, Done !!
Results vary because it reduced about 50 mb on my SGY Duos and reduced about 7 mb on my friends SG Gio. Usually work well on unroot device & non partitioned SD Card May be usefull but wont recommend on
devices with high memory!!!
Someone tested, somes screen?

the question is how did you do it bro i can't figure out i have sandisk 16 gigs class 10 sd card..so pls tell me..
both of these apps Are free on play store.
Link2sd needs a secondary partition creating I used easeus free windows tools and set to primary. Then open app and select apps you want, then create link.
Folder mount works similar but you need to create a new folder then select which data files to copy across.
Search Google for the how to guides or xda how to use
Try clean master.

Link2SD is for those small apps that dont use /sdcard/android/data or /obb folders. FolderMount is for those huge /obb data and more. Use both for pushing all those files and apps to microsd.
