I'm not happy, I've just come from the One 4.2.2 and they fixed the menu dots.
What's up with this beast?
They are back........ Am I missing something?

You can remove them in the buttons settings .
Thanks.
So I did miss something. I remember doing that on the One but didn't see it.
Ok close thread, all sorted.......

I think I could provide a non root solution. But it would create 2 types of settings app on your phone. Not 100% sure on this though...
What is you solution?

Isn't there an option in settings>display and buttons and gestures to set a capacitive button as menu? I'm running a port of the One on my HTC Evo LTE, but don't know if official gas it or if our devs just threw it in. I know it existed in the sense 4 software.

Well, it is is not there..

Sorry. Really surprised, honestly.

Guys, anyone?

Root your phone, unlock bootloader and install custom recovery, then install XPOSED framework and install the menu button mod. Otherwise install a custom Rom with the setting enabled.
Or if you don't want to do any hacking, wait for HTC to possibly fix this.

I am using ViperRom 1.0.2 and I was wondering how to send screenshots via MMS, possibly viewing them from the gallery as well?
Sent from my Sprint HTC ONE using XDA premium
Snap a screen shot by holding power button and clicking the volume button. It will save to gallery and you cand send pic via gallery

I use power and home but does not save to gallery.
Sent from my Sprint HTC ONE using XDA premium
Hold power and volume for a few secs. It gives you a quick link in notification panel to view it in gallery.
Also, it probably is in gallery. Click events at the top of gallery and change it to albums. It took me a second to figure that one out.

Haha wow ty lol...

No problem. Like I said, it took me a minute to figure it out. I, for one, think it should be default unless going to gallery from camera

Agreed, would love this!
Kill button
The Renovate Rom includes this feature:
- Added option for people who are using a kernel with "Logo2menu" to map long press back as kill app
Yes but still app hanging in recent apps list
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
I was told it was not possible (see post below). Although it is possible in Cyanogen mod so I dont understand why not...

This is exactly what I was missing! Flashing this rom soon downloading
try ARHD ROM, it's already included in sense 5 toolbox.

just do a factory reset on your device and see if that helps
just remove all services & apps and topics and eventually it will go away and just say no content
Just reboot your device, they will be gone. You probably noticed this already with 12 hours on the clock
Hi,
I'd like to change my recent apps from HTC style to AOSP style. I remember editing a line in my build prop to achieve this a few months back bit cant remember the exact details.
I know you can do it through xposed, but would rather avoid that route.
Can anyone help?
Thanks.
