[MOD][10-27][ZIP+TUTORIAL] AOKP Weather Icons Metamorph!

AOKP Lockscreen Weather Icons
Full color AOKP icons for our beloved Nexus S and Nexus S 4G.
I am working on a universal flashable zip but until then we have a metamorph zip brought to you by redwiz666! Go hit 'thanks' on his posts! DO IT NOW
See third post for tutorial!! - uses old method but still works
Instructions:
1. Download zip
2. Get Metamorph app
3. Apply zip in Metamorph
4. Reboot

i already had weather lockscreen toggled
downloaded zip
wiped, flashed.. its optomizes all my apps and when it gets to starting apps it boot loops..
gonna try a clean install i guess.
this is probably the only other option ive wanted aside from the status bar weather like aokp.

Tutorial
Firstly you must be on a ROM that uses the lockscreen weather. This does not add it, it only changes the icons!
I will be doing this tutorial on Windows, I'm sure you can figure it out on a different OS really easily.
Required: 7-zip with context menus (haven't gotten it to behave perfectly with command line sadly)
1. Get your framework-res.apk from /system/framework/
2. Get attached 'res.zip' and unzip, you will have a folder named 'res'
3. Right click on framework-res.apk, then go to 7-zip in the context menu and then click 'Open Archive'
4. Drag and drop the res folder into the 7-zip window
Now you have your framework-res.apk which can be put into a flashable zip or pushed via adb. For an easy flashable zip, download one of the current mods from the first post that matches your phone, and then replace with your new framework-res.apk.

yeah I'm not too sure about what Euroskank adds as of now. Seeing as it is so early in the JB process, I wouldn't be surprised if they were similar enough to switch out framework apks.

updated... I'm thinking of switching to the accuweather icons which are a bit fancier, but I suppose it's what the people want. Does anyone have any desired set of weather icons?

look at the icon for the app Fancy Widgets, the little cartoony sun with clouds.
I just finished watching the Australian version of Wilfred, it is hilarious but a little darker than the US version

I don't really like the cartoon one but that's just me australian version sounds better the us version

[Q] MIUI v5 Small HW Buttons

Does anyone know how to make my HW buttons smaller or is there a MOD available?
It has to be for MIUI v5.

The HW (hardware) buttons can't be resized since they are not software but physical buttons
Do you mean the software on-screen buttons?
Check the themes and apps section, maybe you can find some tips there.

I just flashed supersu after and it worked for me

For the next update could you cherrypick/ add slide to quicksettings? (swiping at the bottom of the notification drawer goes to quicksettings)
Also I don't if it is possible yet but could you incorporate pa pie? Thanks.

Oh and for people having trouble with root just flash latest superuser (attached) and for people who want updated google dailer icon can flash the google dailer (BANKS) that I attached to this post

Unable to use voice command opeartions
Hello,
I am unable to use voice commands when ever I click on voice icon it displays a message saying that 'Unfortunately, Google search has stopped' in Whats app, Google search, etc.
where ever I use it.
NOTE - I'm using GoogleKeyboardL.apk , Even if I switch/make default keyboard as(AOSP) then also I could not able to use normal key board and voice too.. (settings-->Language&Input-->Keyboard&input methods)

Update google.apk on play store.
If it is on the latest version go to setings and then apps, go to the last tab and look for google and uninstall updates.. Then update it again

Dynamic system bar/Recents panel
Hey! I have just installed the last version of this ROM, beta 5, which is pretty smooth btw. I tried the DSB, but after enabling it, the system started to lag a lot , is there a solution for it? The ROM gets prettier with colourful system bars haha. Another problem, at the very start i enabled cards in the recents panel, like in the lollipop devices, but now i cant find an option in the settings to disable it. Do i have to keep it that way till i factory reset the ROM ? Thank you !

You can click on this link to see how to free some ram. (Thx to uncreator for this advice)
To disable the card recents panel go to settings -> backup and factory reset -> reset preferences. Then click on recents card stack and click apply.
Nxt time u go to recents panel u will get a prompt.

I followed the instructions, and got the old recents panel back, thanks c: But the status bar gagging still remains, it must be something with the settings , well i will take another look , thank you :good:

Pa 4.6-beta 5
I updated to latest ROM - 4.6 BETA 5 last night, running without any problems so far. I had to flash the kernel also, because with the build-in kernel, I had random crashes. Now, the phone is rock solid with new kernel. IMO, it feels smother, than the privious BETA 3, although I didn't have any problems for more than 2 mounths.

Default theme strange issue
I get this weird looks with the default theme on, anybody knows how to fix this?
