Hi you can download the kdz of v30a from here http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/swdata/WDLSW/LGP990/APNNDW/V30a_00/V30A_00.kdz
Download AIO from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2020737 use it to extract kdz to smarthflash format. You will see a folder called v30a. Then you can use smartflash from aio toolkit to flash it. Every instruction is shown in aio toolkit

You other guys beat it to me, i was just to answer.
But my phone is still slow as he**.
Thinking of flashing cm10.1 (if i got it right with the dot), yesterday i flashed my wifes samsung gio with unofficial jb 4.2.1 and it was smashing
I had some problem with cwm but that was something with the sd card and easy to fix, she is happy and i loved the interface.
But what custom rom is the best (stabile, with least or none bug) and in swedish lang.
If you can please link where to find the files.
Thank in advance guys

[Solved] LG PC Suite does not detect correct firmware version for OTA

I'm really stumped on this one so I hope someone can help.
It started when the v10d update was pushed via PC Suite last night. So I went ahead and happily updated it. Rooting it immediately and removing certain LG apps that I've always removed (including LGHome, LG IME, etc.)
1st major problem happened when I tried to go into recovery (vol down + power), only to remember that I haven't reinstall CWM yet. An LG progress bar appeared, and a full wipe commenced.
That issue was fixed with a Smartflash to an open Euro v10c ROM.
I have now restored to my stock v10b ROM, but when I connect to PC suite, it's telling me that I'm on v10d and there are not updates available! I've tried uninstall/reinstalling PC suite. Even restarting the phone. But I am still stuck with the same message.
I'd like to go through the OTA update again since it saved all my apps and it was (well kinda) hassle-free.
Help?
Delete the drivers & pc suite from the pc, then reinstall and reconnect, it did the job for me
It is important to remove all the lg stuff from your computer...

A.... now drivers I didnt remove. Will try it now. Thanks for the reply mate.
I removed both PC Suite and LG United Drivers, same thing though, it's telling me that my current v10b is up to date. When I just received a v10d update yesterday.
TrymHansen helped me get a solution.
Just flash an older BB! As we know, nandroids don't touch the BB partition, and apparently, that is where LG PC Suite is looking at. I downgraded my BB to 0405, and LG is now telling me to update again.
My BB is 0405, but still it wont tell me that ugrade is avaible :S
Please help me
my bb also 0405 and its telling me its up to date
solution, anyone???
I've flashed new BB manually
No other way found.

You don't need root to flash bb use smartflash for this. According to my tests with bb it sometimes fixes the quality of the call nd reduces battery usage but some don't I got new bb + new til this morning form the forums and now its works really great

You didn't look closely there are 4 V10H links on that page.
But anyways try this
Download this for orange :
http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/swdata/WEBSW/LGP970/AORUTL/v10d_00/V10D_00.kdz
Then extract the cab from kdz.
After that your gonna have to extract .wdb and .dll
Then extract bin/fls files and flash using SFT.
Extract .kdz :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1566532
Download SFT :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1448803
Actually V20 is not released in UK yet so V10D is latest.

can someone help? i think i have bricked my optimus x2

Hi everyone,
My x2 is a vodafone, imei unlocked, stock 2.2 and CWM.
Im in the USA now and im using an iphone here so i wanted to update the x2 while not using it.
I read that lg will update trhe x2 to ICS and i had a pending update on my phone which i couldnt install due to a CWM.. Thinking it might be the ICS i went ahead and removed the CWM.
I removed CWM with "r1-stockrecovery-2x-unsigned", This did allowed me to boot into stock recovery. backed up all my data, did a factory reset and looked for update via wifi.
it found the update, downloaded (it was a small file, so no ics i assume), rebooted it self to install the update and thats it.
Now it boots to the LG logo and it stays there.
power Vol- goes to recovery for a brief moment (15 secs or so) and then back to LG logo.
What i have tryed so far to no avail: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1457582&page=2
Uninstalled all LG drivers and software from system, W7 64 bit.
I have downloaded 2x-nvflashdrivers and 2x-v10b-1300166062-nvflash
My comp detects the phone while in recovery mode, but wont take those drivers, hence NVflash cant detect the phone.. Once the phone goes out of recovery more my comp no longer sees the phone as connected.
I know its a lot to read but wanted to clarify in detail as much as i could so we all are in the same page.
UNBRICKED P990 - optimus X2
FIXED!!!
Thanks to a guy on you tube for directions, seach for user "iPhoneIac" tittle "LG Optimus 2x - How to flash to stock rom"
Program used:
SmartFlash P990
SmartFlash drivers, if u see modem driver not working under windows try to do the flash anyways.
Youll need ISO and FLS file as well. I found an open european set.
i can post links but im not sure if its allowed here, if it is let me know and ill post them so others can benefit from it.
Now that i got the phone working i can keep experimenting, i know how to unbrick it now

[Q] P920-925 rom compatibily...

hi!
Sorry bad english, but...
P920 rom compatible with P925g?
And work it, if a p920 cwm backup (2.3 gingerbread) recovered in p925 (2.2.2 froyo)?

(after a Galaxy S)
thx answer!
p920 roms are compatible with p925. But you will have to flash a stock p920 baseband first. Thereafter you can put any rom of p920. :-D (Just flash with the lg support tool and it will do the baseband flashing too :-D )
Flashing guide is here

(thanks to the dark lestat)
*v21E firmware is recommended !
You got be careful with recover thing. I have no idea about it.

V21E_00.kdz Download
thanks!
and last question:
what are improvements in the v21?
better battery life time?
more speed, better stability?
sorry for the question asked, this is the last
i using the stock 2.2.2 rogers rom: good stability, good battery, loud camera sound, english language...
which I would love: silent camera, longer battery life, good stability, hungarian language...of course
and optional 3g or 4g...
v21e is the gingerbread update which includes :
very good battery life
2D to 3D game converter
higher network speeds
some improvements in camera
plus more...!
Rogers upgrade
Do you know if this v21e is good and compatible with Rogers Canada LGP925g ?
PS: I Like to change my firmware I have a lot'S Ghost Call issue and missing text with V20c
KaNiMziE
yes its compatible. p925g is the same as p925 thrill. So no problem of installing v21e.
v21e is ghost call free...!
hit thanks..!

You probably don't have all the drivers installed. Uninstall what you have, restart, and than install the drivers.
Or maybe you forgot to enable USB debugging

Hey once i had the same issue as your with the b2c setup. :-D
Try to install the b2c app the very beginning of the process. It could probably be something you changed during the process. Changing port to 9002 or replacing the host file.
If you have already changed the above things, undo them.! Restart the pc and try again.
*at the beginning uninstall all the usb drivers + flashing software.
If you still can't solve the problem you may have to reinstall or repair your windows..! I know its frustrating but i had to do it to my friends pc to get over this issue.. :-(
Hit thanks if you value my reply :-D
Sorry, but not working for me this dark lestat's guide...and other guide...
However slightly different yes!
Own version is work:
1. install drivers
2. install b2c...and close (LG ikon on the tasbar)
3. install msxml.msi
4. plug in phone to pc in usb debugging mode (for drivers finishing installation...the phone is on, don't touch)
5. install shttp, setting http port to 9002, backup hosts file, and overwrite it in to MOD folder...
6. run windows enabler and turn on (on the taskbar)
7. run the UpTestEx...and follow dark lestat's guide...the kdz file flashing full automatic (no need boot into download mode, no need unplug the battery...)
8. full wipe
Running LG-920 Optimus 3D V21E on my At&t LG Thrill 4G LG-925 and it works excellent, No problems whatsoever, couldn't be more happy losing the bloatware.
Also if I may add I do receive HSPA speeds on my phone without any base band alterations whatsoever.

Yes sir. The kdz file includes the baseband.

? Which. Kdz file has just the p925 baseband? The v10e has both.
EDIT: Was able to flash the .fls to my phone to restore the P925 Froyo BB. Was able to do the .kdz a few nights ago and get my p925 bb back with v10e, but tried last night to flash back to froyo after trying a p920 BB and when I flashed the v10e BB the phone was still recognized as p920. This is the reason why I ask the above question.

[q] updating lg optimus 2x to ice cream sandwich

Hi, so I recently aquired a LG optimus 2x (P990-hN) and i noticed it was on android 2.2.2 so i downloaded and installed the LG update tool. I updated to gingerbread and I checked for updates again. I was told there was a newer version. I tried to go through the update and now I keep running into a snag, when I hit update it goes through everything until I hit a screen asking to back up the phone so I do so and hit the start upgrade button, but all that pops up is "An Unsupported operation has been attempted" .
I don't know what to do I followed all the steps properly and still nothing
... any suggestions would be appreciated

Hi, If you did not figure it out try this :
1. Open LGMobile Support Tool
2. Connect you're device on the computer
3. Options -> Upgrade Recovery
I've just did it 2 days ago .. same Error like your's .. Now I have latest STOCK ROM - Android vs. : 4.0.4 ( P990-30a ) BUT the Battery is draining much faster than the previous Version ( Now : 21h:19m51s - previous almost 2 days ) with wifi on all the time, sync on all the time .. now it's you're decision ..
Good Luck ! :good:

I tried to go through the update and now I keep running into a snag, when I hit update it goes through everything until I hit a screen asking to back up the phone so I do so and hit the start upgrade button, but all that pops up is "An Unsupported operation has been attempted" .
I don't know what to do I followed all the steps properly and still nothing
... any suggestions would be appreciated
THANKS

Hi, If you did not figure it out try this :
1. Open LGMobile Support Tool
2. Connect you're device on the computer
3. Options -> Upgrade Recovery
Good Luck ! :good:

This worked for me and I had given up hope trying to download it lol. I like it better than Gingerbread but find it slower to react and not as snappy moving around or opening apps. Strange lol.
Sent from my LG-P990 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
The Alt+F4 did the trick for me also.
P990, international version, with Android 2.3. The update recovery method did not work.
Before this I tried various drivers and LG Suites, but nothing worked until Alt+F4.
