[Q] No 4G connection on EE (UK) - Galaxy S III I9305 (4G LTE + 2GB RAM) Q&A, Help &

I have an i9305 (label under battery confirms model as GT-i9305, FCC ID A3LGTI9305) which I bought many months ago via ebay. It was supplied unlocked and came 'unused' in a T-mobile branded box with T-mobile/EE UK firmware.
As I was on Vodafone UK at the time I flashed it to a stock Vodafone firmware via Odin and it worked fine...it also worked when I moved to Three UK. I've just picked up an EE SIM however and I can't get the phone to acknowledge or connect to 4G. (I've flashed again to the latest stock EE firmware I9305EVRMBF1 and still have the problem).
Baseband: I9305BVBMF1
Kernel: 3.0.31-1153417 [email protected] #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri May 31 23:10:25 KST 2013
Build: JZO54K.I9305XXBMF1
Rooted with CWM recovery installed
My SIM works perfectly and shows 4G when installed in my girlfriends i9305
APN is 'Internet' with APN of everywhere and username eesecure, PAP authentication;type="default, supl";IPv4;unspecified bearer
Network mode is 2G/3G/4G (auto connect)....but at best I get the H+ icon when connected
Given the uncertain provenance of the handset, is there any way I can/should confirm it's the right model with support for the right frequencies ? Potentially more worth a try is reflashing with a factory reset and cache clear.....I didn't do this with either of my Odin-based flashes so far
Thanks in advance for any thoughts/suggestions.

Try APN "everywhere"
CM has the following settings, which I assume work:
<apn carrier="EE Internet" mcc="234" mnc="33" apn="everywhere" user="eesecure" password="secure" authtype="1" type="default,supl,dun" />

Possible wrong CSC .

[Q] No mobile network connection

Hi Everyone,
Kies has updated my I9000 SGS to froyo from éclair and since then I haven’t had any access to either 2g/3G networks (except for a precious couple of hours). I bought the phone in the Netherlands and I am using it in Brazil, but this had not been an issue until the firmware update.
I have already hard-reset my SGS a few times , tried several froyo distributions and used several CSC with no avail.
Currently, my firmware is:
PDA: iI9000XXJPU
Phone: I9000XXJPU
CSC: I9000OXAJPU
Kernel:2.6.32.9 root sep-55 # 11
I’ve got signal (about -111dBm 1 asu), the phone has an imei, and it recognizes my SIM card, but as I said, it has no network connection.
After checking debug screen, I’ve also noticed the following info:
- Basic Information: No Service
- MM sate: NO_CELL
- CONN_STATE:Idle.
Anyone out there could help me out with this problem? I’ve really run out of ideas. Let me know if you people need more info on the current status of my SGS.
Cheers.
You probably need to enter the apn settings for your carrier
It has updated to Netherlands firmware modem and CSC they work in Brazil ??

I've tried several times, with different carriers (meaning different SIM cards). It hasn't worked.
Any other idea?

As I mentioned, the phone was working perfectly fine under Eclair. Moreover, oddly enought, my wife's, who owns a UK orange SCS, is working perfectly over here under froyo.
I am afraid of bricking my SGS by trying my wife's SGS firmaware on mine, since is Orange specific. Does anyone see any problem with that?
Probably Ok with orange . But is their not a Brazil thread on here that may have more clues .

[Q] In Mexico. Which modem for Telcel?

Serendipity 6.4
Kernel: 2.6.32.9 - [email protected] #32
Baseband Version: I9000UGJK4
Firmware: 2.2.1
And I've also tried
Serendipity VII Build 3
Firmware: 2.3.3
Baseband: I9000TUBJV6
This phone was unlocked and it worked just fine in Taiwan.
I'm now in Baha Mexico, I have a Telcel SIM card, but it just does not work. And I absolutely must get this to work because checking email is critical for me. I don't know what to do. Do I need to update my modem? Which one do I need to update to?
1. My APN settings are all correct for Telcel:
Name: Internet
APN: internet.itelcel.com
Username: webgprs
Password: webgprs2002
MCC: 334
MNC: 020
Authentication Type: PAP
APN Type: Internet
2. I show signal on the signal bar, but no 3G or 1X. It says "Emergency Calls Only."
3. When I go dial the number to activate (*333) I get "Data Network Not Available"
4. When I search for the available Network Operators, Telcel pops up, but if I click on it I get "Unable to connect. Try again later." and "unable to select network. Select automatically." This happens over and over.
5. I called Telcel and it is confirmed that they are still waiting on me to dial in and activate my SIM card, using *333. The problem is, I can't dial in.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Hope I helped
Is your IMEI correct, ive seen that cause problems so make sure you dont have the generic one as that will allow you to connect to some networks but not all, also if you keep having problems i'd suggest odin back to stock (that for sure Works on Telcel's network and if your IMEI is missing it might even give it back)and then update back up SlimBean seams to work quite well for me. Hope i helped, would have answered earlier but just bearly stumbbled on to this thread

[Q] SIM Card problem on 7300

Hello
A few days ago I bought Galaxy Tab 8.9. The tablet works great except one problem. The device does not see my SIM card. No matter if my SIM is in or out when I try to enter Settings --> Mobile Network i receive this message: Insert SIM card to access network services
The device was bought from other (not my) provider (I bought it from second hand). Is it possible that the device is locked for other SIM card ? I don't believe it's locked because providers in Israel do not suppose to lock any devices, but any way how can I check this?
And if it is not locked how can i fix this problem?
My device info is:
Model number: GT-P7300
Android version: 3.2
Baseband version: P7300XXKHC
Kernel version: 2.6.36.3 [email protected] #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Nov 8 09:34:49 KST 2011
Build number: HTJ85B P7300JHKK3
The device is not rooted and i still didn't change the CMR...
did you try reverse the sim card?
or put it back to normal phone still works?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA
Yes, I tried to put it in any posible way...
And yes, its my SIM card which normaly work in my cellphone (Samsung Galaxy S), and it work for phone calls and mobile data.

[Q] HELP - Phone cannot connect to any mobile network cyanogenmod 10.1

I bought the a samsung GT-I9000 off ebay, it was locked to vodafone and running standard OS.
Despite soft bricking it I did a factory restore, rooted and flashed it with cyanogenmod 10.1.
Everything is working, except I cannot to any mobile network. When I try to connect it says "cannot connect at this time, try again later" or it encountered "an error". It takes ages doing this as well.
The APN settings are all there and correct as I can compare them to my rooted HTC which works fine on the same ROM.
The IMEI number is given by *#06# and this is also given in the phone information. The same IMEI is on the back of the phone under the battery as well.
If I leave the phone on, it gives Orange (EE ) as the network but says emergency only i.e no service.
I rang Orange and they said there is no problem , which I suspected, as my HTC work fine. Orange also said there is no problem with the phone relating to IMEI - its not stolen.
Can anyone help please? Thanks in advance

Hi again
Two questions: is the phone unlocked now? Did you have the connection with this same SIM card by using previously flashed ROM?
If both answers "yes", your presently installed baseband is probably not compatible with the region where you live. Google after the regional codes (letters in your baseband version) and find the right one for your region. Here are all flashable baseband versions for the CyanogenMod:

I won't have internet next few days, but you may make it now alone.... good luck, mate

I upgraded to stable 10.1.3 last night, simply thinking what do I have to lose? and it worked for a bit then stopped.
Whats stranger is it started working when I got to work - it doesnt recognise EE which is the company who bought Orange/T-Mobile but it connects to Orange or T-Mobile and works as Orange......
It connected to providers last night but never for more than a few seconds and then stopped.
I have called and texted from it and all now seems fine!

The phone lost signal when I got home - ultimately solved it by flashing it with modem XXJVP and updated APN to those given for EE, not Orange.
All been stable now for 3 days

I tried with different sim card same problem. It shows out of service and unknown network with different sim
Is the IMEI really the same as on the cover of the Note box. Maybe there was a problem and had chsnged.
