Hello,
I want to flash stock firmware from SamMobile, but my country is not there on the list,
So which firmware should I choose? I don't want to mess up things like modem or IMEI..
Thanks

If you use Odin you won't lose your IMEI number but yes you'll change your modem... flashing a full package might change it, but I'm not sure. In full package roms "PHONE" file contains modem's data... I've never tried to flash a rom without this file...or simply changing this file but it could be a posibility :S:S:S
Where are you from? Maybe we could find a flashable CWM modem file

thanks,
so what exactly is this modem? I mean, isn't the S5830 an international phone? so why does it need to have so many different modem types..
can I somehow save my current modem and install it later after flashing stock firmware?

Modem file contains data related with wireless connectivity, radio, network communications...
Yes you can to backup your current modem data, creating a flashable zip via CWM
Here it is the script
BACK UP YOUR ROM'S MODEM
1. Flash this zip via CWM
2. When the script finish you'll get a flashable zip in /sdcard/Backup_Modem with your current modem files

I put the .OPS file , and checked "One Package" , chose the ".tar.md5" firmware that I downloaded from SamMobile, and I am stuck in samsung's logo

Always you flash a stock rom via Odin, you'll need to boot into stock recovery and do wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition to avoid the bootloop.
Then enjoy!

Hi again  I am facing a problem now with all of these stock firmwares, my original stock firmware had RTL fix , so that the phone can support right-to-left languages, but since SamMobile does not have the rom of my country, what can I do to fix the RTL problem? maybe there is another stock firmware on the SamMobile list that you can see , and might have RTL fix?
Thanks again !

You can try this, it should work in whatever GB rom
You'll need root and CWM to try it, do a backup first (CWM 5.0.2.6 Fixed) in case things get ugly

Recovery is working, But i do have the error here : " Your storage is not prepared yet etc etc etc.."
And download mode also working...
Is there any rom that I can put ?
if you can get download mode working you can flash another ROM thru Odin, start of on a stock ROM then work your way back to a custom ROM if thats what u want.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=846913
I've got the same problem. Phone boots in both download and Recovery mode, but it cannot access internal SD since it was formatted in Ext4 by the lagfix (yes, I forgot to bring it back before using Odin).
Is there any way to solve this without sending the phone to Samsung?

Did that !
I'll try to do it with csc and modem file...
what is reset EFS Phone ?
I probably solved. I'm going to make a FULL flash to JPU with three files and PIT, then I'll upgrade to JS3, then will swith to a custom ROM.
This should work
sorry my mistake i assumed you already had 3 files and pit ... yeah that should work
dont tick EFS just the re partition and auto reboot f. reset time

Hi! I was just wondering is this method going to work even I have custom rom (Darkys extreme edition 9.0.2) installed ?
Only asking because something went terribly wrong, and phone just keeps rebooting all the time. So with odin + I9000XXJPY (stock firmware) everything goes back to normal? and after that I can start all over to see what went wrong

I need help with flashing stock firmware. Well, I flashed my device with some turkish firmware who had 4 files and I did that via Odin. When I realised that I have turkish firmware I downloaded stock version which consists only 1 file and tried to flash my device trough Odin (followed procedure for flashing with one file) and it wont work. All I get is endless reboot loop on my device. What should I do? Please help!

Try again with wipe data/chace and wipe dalvik cache(from advance from in CWM)
Reflesh your stock firmware.
I high recommend you to rewrite stock 2.3.4 XXXXKPI(European)or specific for you region.
Anyway more details in this thread from Sammobile
KPI version have 4 files but was by far best version for me that i've used.
Also be carefull to load corect packs for boot/csc/modem/phone:
http://fulga.u-s.ro/fotos/android/incarcare_rom_in_Odin.png
If you are european shall not care if it is Turkish or Russian, just change leanguage.
I want to reflash my phone because KIES wont upgrade stock firmware after I flashed with Odin. It says that "this device cannot upgrade over KIES". It's common problem and I heard that people were solving that with reverting original stock firmware for their country. I dont know exactly am I right but I wanna try. Thanx!
Its very buddy, you can search it on this forum. You can find it here.

Hi arshad522, I've installed NaTHaN's last stock rom over CM 7.2 without any problems (after wipe all); so, I think there won't be any problem if you install one package or multiple files via Odin.

I want to clarify that STOCK ROMS ARE NOT FLASHABLES VIA CWM!!
BajoPrimate you should name this kind of rom such as Custom Stock roms or custom roms based in stocks
You are right in your comment but I think it is really important, specially for newbies, we won't create confusions by this way

Custom Roms as Nathan's rom, CM7, CM9, CM10 can be flashed over Stock roms via CWM 5.x.
If you flash CM7 you can go back to stock using a CWM Backup, or you can directly flash another rom as Nathan's rom, CM10.1 ... whatever custom rom!
Only if you have got problems or you want to clean your system and set it by default when you unboxed your device, then you need to use Odin, also if you want to upgrade from Froyo 2.x. to Gingerbread 2.3.x.

I UNDESTOOD ALL WHAT YOU ASKED FOR :s
THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO FLASH A STOCK ROM >>>> ODIN!
THERE ARE 2 KIND OF STOCK ROM FILES >>>> ONE PACKAGE AND FULL PACKAGE
THIS 2 KIND OF FILES ARE THE SAME! THEY CAN BE FLASHED FOLLOWING HUBIX'S GUIDE!
IF YOU HAVE A CUSTOM ROM (ALL OF THEM HAVE .EXT4 FILE SYSTEM) WHEN YOU FLASH A STOCK ROM VIA ODIN, ODIN'LL CONVERT YOUR .EXT4 FILESYSTEM TO .RFS FILE SYSTEM (AS DEFAULT IN STOCK ROM)
IS IT CLEAR??
If you want to go back to CUSTOM STOCK ROM (Nathan's rom e.g.) only you need to flash it via CWM following dev's instructions
If you want to go back to OFFICIAL STOCK ROM (ktm, ddkq8, kte...) USE ODIN!!! It's the safe way, following hubix's guide.

Okk look at this odin image.
1..... If i load files in boot, phone, pda, csc and start flashing
Then it will be called multiple file pakage official rom
2.... Look at one pakage in the botom of this image that is disabled. If i load only one file (md5.tar) and start flashing then This will be called one pakage.
Will flashing of any way as given above will change file sytem to rfs ??

One package & multi package firmwares perform the same task. It is just that phone, csc, boot, pda, etc., are all integrated in one file. Yes the filesystem format will be converted, you needn't worry. Just flash. Prefer one package files over multi package files as they are always easy to handle & less prone to errors.

Guys,
I need an urgent help. Here is my Story..
Using 9208 Note 5 model. After trying different custom roms i tried to flash stock firmware using Odin. Did everything correctly. Unfortunately i checked Nand Erase all option too. The result is my Note 5 stuck at Samsung DimDim logo. For almost 1 hour. Tried reflash several times but no luck..
So i flashed twrp and wipe data and factory reset and reboot. Its works. But problem with voLTE. No voLTE working. I know flashing JIO voLTE fix will solve this but i need a solution for this Odin. I dont want to flash voLTE fix.
Can someone help me pls.. How to bypass that Samsung logo without flashing Twrp.. ?

Well that's because you erased everything including your partitions so now you need to find the .PIT file for your exact model and select it in odin while flashing the firmware again.

I need to know the firmware version that you were on before this problem started.. The PIT file is always inside of the firmware you download all you need to is unzip it from within the .zip..

You can only downgrade if you have firmware that's bootloader version 4 because you're currently on bootloader version 4 and you cannot go back down to bootloader version 3 or earlier because that's been blocked by Sammy.. If you need the PIT file it's inside of the firmware that you downloaded you just need to extract it from the file. If you have the firmware G935FXXS4ESC6 then unzip it and then unzip them again and you'll find the PIT file in there.. It's usually inside of the CSC .tar file.

Thanks for your kind support, as per your suggestion after unzip the csc file i found the pit file . Now should i select Nand Erase & Re-Partition options after inserting the pit file. Is it safe to select these options?
I have flash so many time with same firmware, flashing was ok but still i'm facing same problem.

You can do that yes and if that doesn't fix your problem then there must be something wrong with the phone itself. For your information though you're asking for help in the Galaxy Note 5 thread but you're on a Galaxy S7 Edge.. I do think a moderator might end up moving this to the correct place.
