hello everyone
i have sensation xl htc_j15 middle east version
there is no official ics rom for middle east so i flashed a stock based ics rom that support arabic
and after i inserted the sim card the wireless disappeared and cant find network any more
what should i do to stay on ics with wireless working ??
please help me
edit :: i found official ics ruu ,the thread in xda was old that says there is no ics for htc_j15 , but any way
is there any way that i keep using custom rom without wifi issue??
wifi problem on 4.2.2 ROMs
i was installed many of 4.2.2 roms on my htc sensation xl, every thing is ok except my wifi... when i turn on my wifi, my devise cant find any connection point.. pls help me too..
Both of you can do it, go to system setting>WiFi>advance. Change Wi-Fi region code to China and go back. Now WiFi working. Or download this file and install it:

Right now you can't , because there's still no s-off access for XL so you can't install Arabic RUU for Europe.

true ,unlock your bootloader at the HTC dev .com ,and follow the steps about how to instal Ruu flashable at the xda devlopper ,and i suggest you to choose the ISR ROM ,it support arabic font ,and finaly intsal from the google play an application called MORELOCATE 2 (for the arabic menu),that's it .

with old version of HBOOT,there're many bugs such as wifi and launcher etc
with new HBOOT,those bugs above are gone but you cann't use 3rd-party recovery like CWM right now.
that means you can not even root it.
I think even you can make Recovery work,there are no way to downgrade your firmware from ICS to GB because of the new HBOOT

it will be normal zip for all areas.
I will add as much languages as I can find, like in my BinDroid Roms
That it's for a specific region only is just less languages, and/or radio problems
so check your data connection after first flash

I can not post picture on twitter (I even chose the image in service configuration still nothing), on facebook it will handle up 23% and stops, and I can not change my profile picture with my samsung mini, with the application I can post youtube videos without problem
* I have android 2.2, 2.3.3 still the same problem .. Where does this problem? anybody have any idea Where can this problem come from?

maybe there is a problem between your network provider and there server...have you tried wifi ?

Dude, are u on Stock rom or custom rom? And ur on Android 2.2 or 2.3?
Either way, try these and see if it works after that :
1. Connect to a wifi network (maybe its bad service provider)
2. Go to task manager and end all running apps and clear ram
3. Reboot your phone if all these doesnt work

Do your phone still have warranty? Is your phone rooted? If your phone is under warranty and not rooted, take it back to the shop. Or if ur phone is no longer under warranty, try rooting your phone and flash a custom rom. MIUI Rom is stable and good, but good custom Roms u should try would be Squadzone's Cyanmobile, Mebitek's pure Cyanogenmod or Minisense 3.5...

1. the capasitive bottons isn't sensetive as the touch screen
2. the firmware didn't updated yet , and i want to change the cid to European so i can get the last firmware.

I already Rooted my phone , if i install custom room with the updated firmware , Can It fix my Issue's?
Or i can't install a custom rom if it isn't the same as my Firmware Version ?
You can install any rom with the latest firmware and it'll work fine.

hey guys .. i've just flashed 4.1 sense custom rom and i'm facing two unstandable bugs !!
1- Wifi fail .. can't scan or even connect to any network available
i used wifix manager and it worked fine to me .. but everytime after rebooting the bug show up again untill the app can't fix the problem !!!!
2- while choosing the front camera .. it writes " front camera stopped working " and get me back to home screen !!
please elp me guys . i realy like this rom
it's 4.0.4 and my Hboot 1.28

yes maybe the problem is in the region code...in some roms you have this issue
WiFix Manager will solve your problem, just tic emulate on every boot option if i still remember to solve your reboot problem, and change your region code to scan for new network.
