Hi,
i flashed cm-10.2-20130812-UNOFFICIAL-i9305_BLE.zip yesterday with wipe and tried A2DP.
The pairing was succesful and now even the title information is being pushed to the car stereo, but when i started playback (google play music) it sounded very choppy.
Then i flashed the cm-10.2-20130814-NIGHTLY-i9305.zip and it works fine, the title information is still there.
So there seems to be a problem with ble.
Just wanted to mention it, otherwise i am very happy with 10.2 and i will stick with it for now
thanks for your work!
did you try the bluetooth connection with apollo or a another music/media application?
i didn't have any music on my phone, so i only tried google play music with online streaming.
Since this is only my second post i can't post in the dev-section and i just wanted give feedback for the ble-rom of cm 10.2.

Hello,
I rooted my LG P990 and installed JMCyanBreadMOD, and afterwards the most recently nightly (CM51) of that time. Before one of the CM installs, I could make calls and listen to music from my phone over my car's audio system. After the CM install(both of them), only calls would function.
When I request bluetooth music in my car, I see the media player is launched, but that's about all that happens. It seems to be kept paused. Explicitely pressing play to have it continue playing doesn't help either,I see the time bar moving, but hear nothing.
The CM's bluetooth settings for the connection to my car's audio system are set to be used for phone and media.
I'm wondering, since calls do work, perhaps I missed some setting somewhere ?
Or is it something that simply isn't fully developped ?
Somebody got an idea ?
Many thanks
Cooled Spirit
It doesnt work with cm7 yet. Try modaco if you really want/need it

Hi, make sure your Bluetooth support A2DP.
However, if your bluetooth heatset doesn't have, you can try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=649059
I don't guarantee it work or not, however, NvFlash is always there for you. ;P
Quick question, is it possible to download the Cyanogenmod 7 music player? I went from an EVO 4G loaded with Cyanogen 7 to the Vivid. The problem I'm having is when I play music through Bluetooth on the car radio. Before (when I played music from the EVO), my car radio would display the track info. Now all it says is "Audio Streaming". I’ve already removed and re-added the phone to the car. I also went through all the Bluetooth settings on the phone and car but that did not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

is the more up-to-date version of the stock player from CM7, IIRC. Ignore the fact that it says "Froyo only".
If not, then it's just the straight rip from the Google source, which would lead me to recommend that you instead get the Google Music app from the Market instead.
No joy. Both apps do not enable the song info to be displayed. I guess I will just wait for Cyanogen to release a build for the Vivid and see if that works. Thanks for the help.
Yeah, the stock music player does leave alot to be desired...
Since I can't post directly to the ROM thread, thought I'd post here.
Installed the ROM and the ringtone audio fix. All is working swimmingly on the device.
Re-paired the phone to my JVC head unit in my car. When playing back audio via Bluetooth, any audio streams are playing back at what seems to be 1/2 the frequency, therefore the pitch is shifted upwards- basically a chipmunk effect. This is happening with ANY audio stream to the head unit- music, TTS output, google maps voice prompts, video playback.
I deleted and re-paired devices. Wiped Dalvik cache and the cache mount. Still the same problem.
Any ideas? Is this a generic cyanogenmod bug that crops up? No problems like this with CyanVivo 10.1 4.2.2.
Thanks!

It's caused by audio fix. You can replace audio.a2dp.default.so with the one from Stable #4 and you'll have correct audio playback back =)

A huge thanks to you both- I've done the replace, haven't tested it yet but hopefully this'll do it!
UPDATE - tested and working as normal after replacing the file mentioned by theQwertiest- thanks again!
Hello World
Hi, guys.
Saw this post about bluetooth in CyanVivo10.2.
I was using 10.1 with BT headset and everything was almost fine.
Then i decided to move to 10.2 stable 4 and when i tried to check BT headset i have found some extreme cracking noise when listening some audio. So i check my BT headset with other phones but all was fine with it. Trick with switching files doesn't work at all (even with 1.5x speed cracking noise is still present).
In order to find a solution i checked other versions of szezso's 10.2 (stable 4,5) and noticed that this "cracking noise" is not so noticeable in Troj80's version (stable 3) of this rom. The solution of this problem was found in CyanVivo X where this noise was absent. As i understand the trouble lies in A2DP and Bluetooth files.
Update:Checked VivoKat 4.4 for this noise in BT headset and I haven't found it there.
Maybe someone who are more skillful has some ideas of this trouble?
Question to Szezso:
Is it possible to insert files from CVX to CV10.2 and will it work ?
Hi all,
This may very well be a stupid question, but I can't find any information about it. Here's the deal. I have CM10.1 Stable, with original kernel, setup on the SNG. I also now have a bluetooth car radio. The pairing works fine, and calls can be made and heard on car speakers. However, whatever I do, I cannot get a music player to send music to the bluetooth. It just plays on the phone speaker. I've searched for settings, in bluetooth options, in the music players (tried two), but alas to no avail. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for the help.
Tony
Don't remember about 10.1 but 10.2, the music through Bluetooth works fine..

OK, so how do you get it to work, step by step?
1-pair bluetooth device
2-Play music using apollo or player pro or whatever player you may use..
And is that it?
As I was saying, the problem here could very well be the user... But I can't figure it out !
Thanks,
Yeah. There is no need to open apollo. I just select BT audio on car stereo and it starts playing from where I left last time..

Ah, a shame then. Clearly something is wrong with my setup then... No idea why music won't play !
Hello, I own a SM-800f s5 mini.
I use TWRP+Resurrection remix marshmallow 6.0.1_r52-

Smallband GF800FXXU1AOC2
Well, Simply put I have an audio problem.
It occurs only on game apps. Media seems tot play fine.
For example; YouTube plays problemless. But an app like Ingress, Pokémon GO or Triple town, I get very choppy audio.
Ive been trough forums, But mostly I find Jack audio issues, or equalizer problems. Or the Nu player method.
All this doesn't apply.
I've Tried other builds, other custom built firmware but the issue is the same. Except on stock.
I don't really want to go back to stock unless I have no choice.
Any solutions out there?
I'll keep this thread updated if I find a fix myself
Thanks in advance!
