I had xperia P befor buying my new xperia V, but biw I'm so disappointed with the camera of XV, bcoz XP got soo thick and suoerb quality 8mpxl camera. Our XV git 13mpxl but when comparing this two phones camera XP is the best. What you think about this XV camera?

Nobody here can make it better
Its putrid quality
Turn off intelligent auto its awful. Managing setting according to situation under normal mode makes a huge difference. The camera can be really good.

Normal Mode...play with iso and measurement and resolution...maybe disable image stabilizer...check the white balance settings too
if you want good pictures, dont use auto mode (i use that only for qick shots)

The settings depend on your shot your taking. Just remember to use a high enough ISO to freeze motion in your image. DO NOT BE AFRAID OF NOISE! It looks better than blur. I never ever leave my iso on auto.

Hi,i have owned an Ion b4 and flashed the cybershot mod, its wonderful. Especially the fix for 100% pic quality.

A wonderful camera mod for xperia 2012 devices
There's a CyberShot mod for the XT,which also runs JB, and has a 13MP camera, so if you were to test a CyberShot mod, I'd say that is the most likely to work...

Just tried it on my stock rooted jb Xperia t. It doesn't work.
Files are too outdated? Lol

Add this line to your build.prop
ro.media.enc.jpeg.quality=100
You will have 100% quality.
Cybershot is just a new icon and doesn't give anything more or better, it's a placebo. The Xperia Z has already the best app and libs.

I've tried this and it's nonsense. Burst mode photo's are awful and aren't useable.
In good light conditions, Burst pics are the best ones because there is not post-processing (no antialias, no noise reduction). But ONLY in very good light conditions.
Indoors, or when the light is not the best (very cloudy day, evening, etc), burst mode is very noisy because the camera has to elevate the ISO level too much.
Cybershot mod from the ion works well on tx..tested and it worked. But i would love to change the name of my camera to "cybershot" on my xperia z. got any ideas?

Makes no difference on my phone whatsoever. Neither in Superior Auto mode nor in Normal mode. Image quality stays the same, as does file size.
No chnage in image quality
No changes in image quality... same as earlier

is it even possible?
Not sure what you are trying to do here, the sharpness and vividness depends on the actual camera not the camera app. If you want you can actually touch up the photos you take with an app like pixlr express.

When I'm recording some fairly high speed 1080 video on my projector screen (say if I record a replay from my PS3 game F1 2012) the Sony Z camera Zoom seems to focus, refocus, focus, refocus all the bl00dy time. As a result the video ends up either a) blurry, or b) is filled with stutter/juddering crap...
Is there any way to fix this?????????????
I had it on 434 firmware, and still exists on the 253..

I wonder why the Sony Z needs the room well lit? My Projector is ultra bright and I'm close to the screen.
I changed the focus mode from face detect to fixed point and still does it..
None of my previous phones (HTC One X, iPhone 4S, SGS3, or Razr HD have done this.. Seems very strange IMO.
I'll post up a video on youtube tonight to demonstrate what is happening

thats little bit normal because of low light
u can change setting of Camera to solve it
i guess in this pic u r in normal mode but u can use auto or play with brightness to have better quality
if this problem remains just repair it with PCC or SUS
Guys play with Setting of Xperia Camera thay r awesome but hard to work with them

Im now using eXistenZ Ultra rom, and I back to stock camera. To see if the problem. Sloved but the same
I using Google stock camera and it is little less purple then semc camera

i will list the problems experienced with SP:
i) low call volume on speaker. in noisy places i simply cant hearing anything.and i have perfect ears.
ii)apps frequently killed due to some RAM issues.This is the biggest problem with this phone I think walkman gets killed sometimes when opening chrome tabs on chrome X(
iii) for me, battery life is not as expected.

I'm using sola now with JB rom drains 1~5% for a night.
Do you use ram booster or any apps killer?
I never heard people got this problem...

with loudspeaker call volume is fine.
nope i don't use any apps killer or something like that. but after this problem went annoying i installed supercharger script. it solved launcher redraw issue, but still could not solve apps getting killed without reason.
i don't use camera that much, the quality is good for me, but the pictures taken are having much noise. never recorded video at all

For the RAM issue, you can set a lower minfree value using SuperCharger V6, or you can use RAM Manager Pro and set to Hard Multitasking.
For me, I use lower minfrees and now I have no launcher redraws, and apps keep in memory for longer! :thumbup:

The loudspeaker is loud and clear and I dont experience battery drain unless using the wifi the camera IMO is kinda slow in taking pic and too saturated. The shutter sound is seriously loud.
I bought this phone this week and I'm happy with it.
I had Xperia X10 before.
For me the cons are:
- Only 1GB RAM (I can live with it)
- Camera pictures - low quality in low light conditions, noise (hope to be improved in the next update)
- Front camera resolution (I don't use this camera)
The battery drain depends on the ROMS and APPS you are using. Look good to me.
Never recorded video.
Games runs well.
GPS works fine.
Screen is good.
Performance is great.
Sound/volume is normal.
Illumination bar is nice.
No lag at all.
For a mid range device I think it's great. :good:

Definitely black, or else red. White makes it look cheap IMO.

There is no touch problem for me at all (at least I don't feel any)
The SP is a great phone, you won't feel any difference between the SP and Z unless you are playing heavy games.
