Hello, first off this is for a friend. I do not own a HTC one. Is there a flashable zip for all HTC apps if the custom ROM doesn't have them ? Or does it only work on sense?

Not all custom roms have the htc apps that your friend might be looking for, thats why custom roms were made, to get rid of any bloatware and htc apps that seem useless to the users, and I dont think there is a flashable zip for all the htc apps. My guess is try reflashing the same rom over the current one... That might bring the apps he's missing

From my experiences, I've only ever been able to do that on AOKP ROMs so I guess you'll have to wait until an AOKP ROM comes along which had that option.
I've not seen it done without AOKP but that doesn't mean there isn't an alternative way.

yea youll need custom ROM i think, or at least root.
PS not necessarily AOKP though, some custom stock roms such as viper have this option IIRC

Might be an idea to ask the ROM Dev as a starting point then?:silly:
Does anyone know a way to do this? Or if it would even be possible?

Would you say a lot of Sprint HTC One users go to the international ONE forums? If the rom or mod says it works with Sprint, do they always work?

This is for 4.2.2 based ROMs, do not flash it on 4.1.2 or it might not work. Also don't forget to do a Nandroid Backup beforehand.
On the second or third page, he put a link for a 4.1.2 version.

No reason to regret it. If you don't like it, it's easy enough to go back to stock.
Every device in my signature (with one exception) has had a custom ROM on it. No regrets here.

Any big advantage when I use a custom Rom with sense 5.5?
Is the battery bug fixed on custom Roms?

If you're talking about the battery drain some users are experiencing on 4.4 Sense ROMs, it's still around. From what I've read, it's part of the HTC base that devs are using, so it won't be fixed until HTC releases a new WWE base, which should be soon.
...as for advantages of custom ROMs, check out ViperOne in the One Android Development forum if you haven't already.
so far battery on viper doing good....(elementalx kernel)
give it a go , worst case - go back to stock

I never regretted the new software! Even if I would, I still could get back to stock. So there is no problem. And until now I also had no warranty problems. They repaired it for free eventhough it was rooted. This would be the only thing I regretted... the big problems with repair centers.
Hii guys i have HTC ONE m7. Im in sense 6 but my camera doesn't work correctly. I need sense5.5 camera for download and install it.
Thank you all for your interesting
Download a sense 5.5 ROM, extract the camera.apk, replace it with yours set permissions and you are done. I dont know if that works but that's the way I would do it.
