I feel like there has to be a way to mirror the one's screen over wifi or Bluetooth. Why in the world isn't this an option. Is it just not possible over the hardware or is it just that the devs haven't figured out a way yet?

So I really love the gallery app on the One. It's alive and exciting! I like how it makes video highlights of the albums at the top of every event with a theme, I've been playing around with it and it's waaaay cool. Is there a way we can download more preset themes from HTC?

I don't think there are ATM. But supposedly some more coming.
I found this decent break down of all the features, including a work around with one of the bugs in editing the highlights. Bit long but great guide.

I was wondering why select content never worked right. This video provides a temporary solution until HTC sends out am update.

Looks pretty cool. Nice find. Going to give it a whirl and report back.

It doesn't seem to work on stock One. I tested on my old Captivate running CM9 and it works. I'm researching a Tasker workaround, but unfortunately it may just be that Take Call is root-only.
Cool! Sure hope someone can get this to work properly.
I actually found an app in the play store called Wave Control pro. I was able to control my music player by waving my hand in front of the proximity sensor.
Sent from my HTCONE using xda app-developers app
It works
I downloaded it and got it working on my Samsung Epic 4G touch I realized the phone has to be laying flat down and you have to wave your hand from the camera downward
No luck on my HTC one, maybe it's the Rom that I am on.

I would love to have this too. Pleas add [MOD Request] instead of " [MOD]" in the thread title. Seems a bit misleading. One might think the mod is available in this thread.
I need it too... i agree previous post... app sux...
but you will probably need the source code to kernel 4.2.2 right?
Thanks
I've already tried different apps but the quality was really bad.. i hope there's a better solution

hi all please any working progress here .....please dev
im waitting it
None of the available call recording apps work properly at this time. Not even the app from sklavex.
I would also really like to see a mod or a kernel patch that can fix this issue so that both myself and the other person are recorded with good quallity on the HTC One with some sort of app.
Thanks
Miui Rom HTC one works

I am here asking because I don't know how to ask the question to get a general answer.
I know having a hardware attachment on some phones gives you the ability to transmit a radio frequency so you can tune in from your car on anything you wanted to listen to from your phone. I was curious to find out if there was an app for HTC one that would be able to do this natively?
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
It's called tunein radio unless you mean wirelessly I'm not sure

There's an app out but it only works on gingerbread. Some one needs to to port the app for ics and jb. I'll post the link in a bit.
EDIT: Here it is..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=45451408
I have not tried it on my one yet since I just got it. But I did try it on my mytouch 4g running ics and it did not work. From what I been reading, it only works on stock gingerbread only. Some one needs to update the app.

If you mean transmit via FM, no.
Android devices that can transmit on FM band are extremely rare.
Bluetooth "transmit" is possible, but not FM.
I kinda figured, it wasn't possible sense it needed an attachment for other phones. Thanks for all your answers.
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
And sorry to more clarify it would create a radio station on a frequency that's not being used. Just to set things straight.
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
you may find cheap FM transmitters on eBay, used to have one during ipods days. the quality is never much and in a metropolitan area you struggle to find a free frequency. I'd say this day and age go with Bluetooth if possible

I updated to the first ota of kitkat when it went live and really didn't like it, so I downgraded to the first firmware, then accepted ota til I was back to 3.05.651.6, and now my Wi-Fi won't stay turned off no matter what settings I have chosen, and it won't respond to BatteryGuru like it used to before the whole mess.
Anyone have any ideas as to what may be causing it or how to fix it?
