Factory cable for fully bricked phones! - RAZR i Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I had a fully bricked phone. The battery would not charge and the screen would not come on.
I couldn't find a sollution on XDA, so I bought a factory cable for 5 EUR from Hongkong. With it I was finally able to charge my phone. I would recommend trying this cable to everyone who had a similar problem!
Greetings from Germany!

Galaxy Note N7000 can't charge & start bought from expansys

Yesterday my galaxy note can start. It only shows a grey battery icon. What I did
1. Remove the battery for 30 minutes and put it on again.
2. It to odin mode, it works I flashed the origin 4.1.2 rom to it, it tried to restart but stayed on grey battery stage.
3. Did two wipes, not helpful.
It's a UK edition bought from Expansys, still in 2 years warranty. I contacted Expansys, they can only help me ship my phone for warranty in 1 year, but I bought it Feb 2012, already exceed 1 year, so they can't help. I contacted Samsung USA, they said Samsung phone doesn't carry international warranty. I ordered a new battery, will try it to see if it's a battery problem.
Yes, changing the battery is the correct next step.
Since you were able to connect to a pc you should have high confidence the usb/charging port is functioning.
Are you using the stock charger and stock cable?

Battery charging problem

Hi, I have tried searching the forums for this however have not found anything specific to my case.
My phone's battery died about a month ago and I left it on charge overnight to find that it hadn't charged at all. I charged it for a further 2 hours on a different socket with still no luck, so then charged it by USB on a PC for another 2-3 hours until it powered on.
This problem has luckily not occurred again, however ever since this, every USB wall charger I have previously used to charge the phone (Samsung charger and other various ones) do not charge the phone. The only wall charger that works is an iphone one. I think I broke the OEM charger so am not exactly sure where the fault lies in that, charger or phone. It is definately not a fault with the cable(s) that I am using.
So my question is this, could this be a potentially battery/phone degrading problem, and is this reason enough to send the phone off for warranty, or will they turn round and say "well you should be using the OEM charger anyway". Just seems wrong that they used to work, now they don't.
Thanks for your help, really appreciate it,
Wayne.
*** EDIT: I have also flashed a stock vodafone .FTF and updated to lastest firmware with no change ***
Anyone have any idea?
I think you have to try to charge your phone with another OEM charger (maybe you have friends that also in possession of Xperia Z).
If the phone still not charging, then you should claim your warranty. Just don't tell Sony that you were using non-OEM chargers to charge your phone. Just tell them your battery is dead and the charger doesn't work anymore.

[Q] GT-n7000 Dead, no response

Hello!
I got an old Samsung gt-n7000, it worked well until the battery went old. The screen started to flickering for some days, until the battery lost all the power, the mobile turned off and I could not recharge it. I then bought a new battery and everything worked, I thought. Until I should charge the phone, it still dident work to charge it. I look all over the internet and found that maybe its the usb connector in the phone that stop working. I ordered one at ebay, got it today but it still don't give me any response at all.
The phone was rooted for ca one year ago, but then I factory reset it to all original. So this dosenĀ“t matter?
Any thoughts what I can do? Is it just trash?
My advice is to get an external battery charger and a spare battery.
It could also very well be a bad usb cable.

I already tried 5 different cables and none of them work sadly.
Yeah I guess that's the only way?
I suspect something like this would work as well.
Please note that i have not tested/used/researched/ordered this. But its what i would consider giving your situation.

Battery strange issue

First of all, i'm sorry if any other thread are already open. I've searched but didn't find nothig...
So, what about my problem is
Started from nowhere 2 nights ago... My battery can't reach 100%. wednesday night, stoped at 87% but still show charging. Last night, stoped at 93% and the same..still charging And all of that, happend after almost 9hours of charging. So i m sure it's not related about charging time.
If yours answers does need for a few more details, i'm completly stock, 4.3 version
And another detail about i think it's not a simple coincidence, that issue described above, starded after a looooong conversation on facebook. Phone was veeerry hot and problems started :victory:
Any sugestion will be appreciated :good:
P.S out of warranty
One thing i learned about Samsung:
* The wall adapters suck.
* The cables suck.
My experiences the same, and a 3amp HP Touchpad charger sends it to 100%.
Now, my advice, in this particular order:
* Clean the usb port on the smartphone (needle, carefully!)
* Replace USB cable
* Replace USB cable AND wall adapter.
Thx. Today i'm going to buy another usb cable and charger.

Hey, i had the same problem but a lot worse, then i bought this new monster cable, and all my problems are solved, before i bought the monster cable i bought like 3 regular cables but they don't work.

LeEco Le 2 X520, MIUI; Lineage OS 14 Ect, made phone a half brick [Charging issues]

Hello, i'm here if any expert can help me with this problem i recently got.
So back then i had an Internation stock rom, but recently after 3 or 4 the phone stopped charging, so i decided to void my warranty (Which i now regret)
It only got worse, the phone doesn't charge unless its percentage is over 70, and doesn't even fast charge.
So i did my research and had to spend hours and even days, which i obviously didn't find and that's why i'm here.
My cable has been quite uninstable too, but as said, it only charges when it's 70%, and the only way i was able to charge was throught TWRP, which i recovered and no longer have TWRP, tried to install an stock rom, but failed, i really don't know what to do than buy a new cable, but highly doubt it will do anything and that the problem is in the kernel [Overdose].
I appreciate any helpful answers.
the stock cables and charger are junk. i just got me le s3 4 days ago and the chord and wall adapter never worked together, the chord did allow me to charge for a few days but this morning...it stopped working (after flashing a few roms and tweaks, so i thought it was that too...nope. its the cable. GET A NEW ONE ASAP and all wll be great
Dude! I had the same problem! Bought Samsung Type C cable from Samsung Care! And working flawlessly! Yes it is costly but it is worth it! Quality and fast charge! It was about Rs. 550 for me!
