first of all why are you using the GPe rom.. its not meant for your phone. sprint is CDMA..
2nd did you use a zip to install or an RUU
3rd can you get into recovery or atleast Fastboot. if you can then your phone is fine.

side loaded Sprint_HTC_One_1.29.651.10_Stock_Deodexed.zip
was able to get in and turn on usb debuging
have achieved S-OFF
trying to side load the same ROM hoping it takes right with S-OFF this time

can I flash Sprint_HTC_One_1.29.651.10_Stock_Deodexed.zip ?
is it valid ROM for my phone ?

as of right now i have not been able to get any rom to flash

it looks like right now the problem is getting a rom that wont reboot every 3 or 4 min.
i also aper to have no network signal.

solved
in order to fix this issue i flashed
Sprint_HTC_One_1.31.651.2_Stock_Rooted_Deodexed "this was to be side loaded" and
firmware-s-off-1.31.651.2 "bootloader does have to be locked this is repeated over and over on every page you look for RUU zips"
this solved both the reboot and network issues.
tools used
TWRP
Hasoon2000's AIO toolkit
go ahead and use this as an example of what not to do i'm not ashamed.
also i have unlocked the bootloader again and all is well ill update you in a couple of days to let you know it stuck.

update
Since my last post I have had no further issues. I hope nobody needs the info in this thread but if you do I hope it is useful

I need help with my Htc one 802w dual sim China unicom

Hi everyone!! I bought my htc one 802w China unicom version 1 month ago. After reading all the threats and documenting to do the Root, i did it. Now my phone is running and working fine with also google apps. My question is, now i want to update to the version 2.30.1402.1 but i can't, in Cwm say that is failed.
I read that i need to instal a nandroid backup, flash the stock recovery, lock the boot loader and then update via Ota, and root again the device.
Can someone help me, because i don´t know the commands to flash the stock recovery or where should i do it?
Thanks for the help!!

I live in this thread but i didn't find how to flash the stock recovery to the phone. If you can tell me how and the commands that i need to write i will really apreciate it. Thanks ^^
Is all written on first page. Including link to stock recovery. Why lie to me ? Read please.
Sent from my HTC 802w Dual Sim
I dont lie!! Im just new with Android system and i want to know how to do it. I download the link of stock recovery 4.2.1. Is something like m7-stock-802.img.
so should i do is fastboot flast recovery m7-stock-802w.img and then lock the bootloader (fastboot oem lock) , and instal the update from the phone?
My question is: This stock recovery file what i do with it. I copy it to the sd card and flash it trought the CMW? or i open the command window and do the fasboot flash stock recovery file?
What i want is to be able to do the update to the 2.30.1401.1
It's not because i dont read, it's because i dont understand very good how to do the things and im afraid to brick my phone.
Thanks i really appreciate your help.
Hope this helps:

Hi Yago,
I dont have your phone, I have the International One...but I think I can help you out.
If you phone works the same as the International One, and my old SensationXE and Desire before that then all you need is the recovery to be installed. You dont need to re-lock your bootloader. The steps I would do are:
1) Download the Stock Recovery (m7-stock-802w.img - if that is what it is called)
2) Switch off the phone and boot it into Bootloader (Power & Vol Down - if same as International)
3) Connect the phone to your computer with usb cable.
4) Open a command window in the folder where the Stock Recovery file is placed
5) Type the following: fastboot flash recovery m7-stock-802w.img (This will flash Stock Recovery to your phone)
6) Reboot phone
7) Try OTA update again
This should work for you, though you may need to reapply root afterwards or try a OTA Root Keeper app to preserve your root. If after the update you wanted to go back to CWM then you can follow steps 1-6 again but with the CWM Recovery file instead.
Hope this helps!
Thanks!! As soon as I arrive back home I will try to do it and later will post here with my result. Maybe like this works because I want to update always the phone. The only reason why I unlock the phone is because I live in china and here we don't have the google apps. So is really annoying be reading in my Chinese that is not very good. Really I appreciate the help. Againg thank you very much
I just came back home and I flash the stock recovery. I typed fastboot flash .... And rooted the phone. Then I download using the software updates and download to the phone the new version 2.30.1402.1. I proceed to install but when the phone reboot went to recovery ( say entering recovery) but didn't go into recovery. Then start again the phone without installing the new software version. I don't know what I did wrong or what I need to do. Also I tried to download the ota file from the Htc one 802w thread but when I went to CMW I couldn't installed.
Any suggestions??
I will really appreciate the help!!!
Have you tried to boot into Recovery from boot menu?
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Yes!! when i do the fastboot flash recovery m7-stock-recovery.img if i go to boot menú and from there to recovery doesn´t enter.
the thing is that i would like to be able to update the phone when i want.
Now i just when back to the cwm802w.img because from there i can go to recovery mode. In other thread i doewnload the OTA file 2.30.1402.1 but when i am trying to installed from the recovery it always fails or don´t find the file.
It´s really strange...
The stock recovery is for the 4.2.1 and now im on the 4.2.2. Maybe can be because of this and i need to find a stock recovery versión of the 4.2.2??
It sounds like the Stock Recovery image you have is not the correct one for ur phone. You should be able to go into Recovery from bootloader and see the warning triangle.
I would try to get another version of the recovery file from somewhere. Then it should work no problems.
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
this is stock recovery for 2.25 OS. Since i don't know what is your OS version i assumed is 2.25. >>> http://d-h.st/dKR <<< flash with command : flash recovery recovery.img
This are the caracteristics of my phone.

I download the file that criss send to me and i flash it. Then the phone was like the first day. Until there good. Then i went to settings/about/software updates and download the version 2.30.1402.1. When i was downloaded i procees to installed.
the phone reboot and at the beggining shows a symbol like is updating and start installing, but in the middle a warning triangle appears and stay there. I need to hold power+volum down to restart the phone and nothing happend.
What i did is
1 download the stock revovery
2 reboot the phone into bootmode
3 flash the recovery image : fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
4 reboot the phone
5 go to update the software
6 install the version 2.30.1402.1
Wait for 20 min and the warning triangle with exclamation symbol doesnt disapear
Should i lock the bootloader to do this?? Yesterday they told me that i dont need but who knows....
Ok, as silly as this sounds but keep rebooting you phone / updating it and it will do it eventually. There are quite a few people that have said the same thing and they said just keep trying and after the 6rh or 7th try it should work.

YES, stock recovery is only a triangle
yes , you MUST lock bootloader for OTA (you can unlock later again ).

With bootloader relocked
I go to setting/about/software update/ and download the version 2.30.1402.1
After downloaded the version i proceed to install.
The phone reboot anf shows to arrows making a circle and a down arrow inside. start to download with a blue bar but when it's on the middle appears one warning triangle red color with exlamation symbol inside.
After 5 min the phone reebot and i strt the process again, i hope that in the 21 th time will work hahahaha
Thanks for the help!!! I will keep trying eveything to update!! I love the Htc One but my goodness is so difficult to do the thing in android system when you dont know... Thanks for everyone that is helping me!!

One S - Stuck In Loop After Maximus HD Install

I browsed a few other threads, and tried to update the recovery with the latest version per the advice of a member, and prior to this, it was just stuck at the green HTC screen with the red disclaimer under it. And after flashing the newest recovery TWRP it has begun to loop.
I also cannot boot into recovery now. Only fastboot is working,.

My bad, I was following posts about this ROM and assumed they were discussing the same phone. But it appears that there isn't a S thread, only an X for this model..
This takes me to a silver HTC logo and hangs there... I have fastboot access, but i cant get ADB to talk to the phone. But with fastboot I can push a new recovery img but still not allowing me into any recovery.
If you cant get into recovery donwload a RUU and get your phone flashed with it from FASTBOOT.

Changed TWRP to CWM which is at least allowing me into recovery mode.
Thinking I will have to transfer the files with another android phone onto the memory and try to install the rom again?
Mounting USB fails, it just makes a sound like I have added a drive to my PC non stop every few seconds, and I cant mount anything. formatted it and it seems to have settled it a bit. But I cant do anything with the storage via USB in Windows. Just updated to the latest clockwork for my model and still no success...
With latest version I cant even sideload at the moment.

Ok, sorted that out, apparently the drivers were having issues, and when I manually picked them I became able to communicate with the phone again like normal. This is like hour 8 of the upgrade so far...
Assuming my firmware is also outdated, and from my searching I havent found an easy way to update my hboot and others without flashing a RUU Rom from T-Mobile, any alternatives to doing that?
Pretty sure I killed it. Downloaded the latest RUU from T-Mobile, after relocking the bootloader and turning S-on, it ran fine, completed, rebooted the phone and now its totally dead. No charge light, doesnt turn on at all. And I was just thinking to myself how hard it is to brick a phone since I have yet to kill one with all of my misadventures....oops. We'll see what happens..
Had you read the HTC One S forum, you would have found out that this particular phone can get hard bricked up S-OFF with SuperCID and then a RUU update is ran.

Dreaded Decryption Code, Wiped Phone, Now Stock RUU Won't Install (ATT)

Last night I installed the newest version of sense as my OTA wasn't working with CMW. So, tonight my device restarted on its own and I was stuck with Decryption Code after splash screen. I searched for solutions for this and did not come across any clear cut solutions. I was able to wipe my device clean. Relocked the phone and tried installing stock Sense 5.5 ruu. My PC (win7) with updated drivers, recognizes my device when I search for "Fastboot Devices" in cmd. I downloaded a stock ATT ruu. It gets 5% (checking header) into the update then I receive an error HTC_Fastboot has stopped working. I attempted different usb ports, restarted my system, and tried an earlier version of ruu.
Here is what I see in Bootloader:
Tampered
Relocked
security warning

HBoot- 1.55
Radio 4T.20.3218.xx
What am I doing wrong? Do I need to put my device on S-off?
What is output of fastboot getvar all?

Solution: Needed to find the exact same rom image the device was shipped with. This was the only way to bypass the fastboot error. All I know that decryption password was hell.

sense 5.5 ruu give this issue much
So you can go this way
Unlocking boot loader
Install custom recovery
Install root
Firewater S Off
Flash old ruu like 4.3 or 4.2.2
Decryption password is password entered for phone storage encryption
I can guess factory reset can remove that give it a try
from HTC One

no, See link to understand "Type password to decrypt storage". There are multiple issues with this and no clear cut way to fix it. Everywhere I read people had different solutions or no solutions at all. Factory resets does not always fix the issue. Thank you for your reply though. I basically had to remove everything img from my phone and start from scratch. My bootloader was unlocked and I was rooted. I had to reverse the root and bootloader back to stock and flash the same ruu the phone was shipped with.

[Q] BRICKED my ONE

Actually I purchased a second hand rooted and unlocked HTC One.
It came with 4.4.2 with Sense 5.5, I received the OTA notification and updated it.
After the reboot it came back as it was. So I restarted it again with the update wizard.
The phone entered a boot loop, so I long pressed Vol- to enter recovery and then started to press everything and wiped the whole phone...
Now I am stuck with a HTC logo which never gets past. Only when I long press Power button the the capacitive buttons are starts to blink then the phone restarts and if I long press Vol- it enters Recovery.
The phone has installed TWRP on it.

well flash a rom using twrp, or a guru reset rom for your version (.401). or restore with a ruu.

I am total noob with these, so could you please link me a rom which I can flash via TWRP? Lot of versions, so confusing...
I have downloaded a RUU file, which is:
RUU_M7_UL_K44_SENSE55_MR_HTC_Europe_4.19.401.9_R_Radio_4A.23.3263.28_10.38r.1157.04L_release_353069_signed_2-1
It has .401 in it, is it good for me? How do I use these files? Just connect phone and double click the RUU file?
Edit, I tried with the above RUU. It failed with Unknown Error. RUU tells me I should get the correct ROM. Any ideas?
Alright, I flashed the stock recovery using ADB as you suggested. Used the .401 and used the right CID, which also read out of phone with ADB in Fastboot USB mode.
Once the stock recovery has been flashed to the phone, I was able to use this RUU:
RUU_M7_UL_K44_SENSE55_MR_HTC_Europe_4.19.401.9_R_Radio_4A.23.3263.28_10.38r.1157.04L_release_353069_signed_2-1
It took a while, but now its working as it should. Feeling very satisfied right now.
SOLVED!

Please Help? HTC One M7 Soft-Brick

Hey there!
So I'm trying to get a HTC One M7 fixed here, and I have a problem. I was updating to Lollipop (stayed on KitKat for a while) then it froze then it rebooted. It had the new logo in the start screen, but it wouldn't boot to the OS at all. I've tried resetting via recovery, doesn't work. Resetting cache doesn't work. ADB + Fastboot with drivers doesn't work. I've tried so many things, like using a toolkit, using ADB + fastboot, going in bootloader and trying adb, nothing works. I'm stuck here. It's a M7 T-Mo variant. I haven't rooted it and it's on stock recovery and the bootloader information is:
*** LOCKED ***
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT-1.57.0000
RADIO-4T.28.3218.04
OpenDsp-v32.120.274.0909
OS-6.10.531.10
eMMC-boot 2048MB

I've tried everything. Please help? I have a new phone already, but I want this to get working so I can at least sell it for some money
i would suggest unlocking the bootloader and installing a custom recovery, like twrp. Then you can restore from a stock backup file (im sure people here have them).
If that doesnt work... well...
Like I said, my PC doesn't recognize my one m7. Even other PCS don't... So I can't unlock the bootloader
go to htc.com/us/support/htc-one-t-mobile/news/
Look carefully at instructions, download file at bottom, run file, follow wizard instructions, should return device to stock.
Will delete data.
I know you said PC doesnt recognize it, but the RUU app should recognise your phone even if the PC doesnt. And if it doesnt, boot into fastboot and try
Hope this helped
