[Q] What to do if someone copy your app? - App Stores

HI!
We are app developers, we developed few apps, when one is quite successful...but someone just stole our layouts and used it in his app. We reported this app, but after more than 3 monts, their app is still on google play.
I am new here, so I can't send link on this apps.
So,
Our app is called: GTA San Andreas Cheats (developer: Atukapps)
And their app is called: GTA San Andreas Cheats (developer: Appsmook)
Our app was released 30 March 2013
Their app was released 21 May 2013
I am annoyed, that they have similar downloads as us...maybe more.
I hope someone knows, what do to with this. Thank you, Atukapps

I don't think there's a nother way Than reporting it

Tetris.apk Bejeweled.apk SimCityMetropolis.apk and more

Here are some games I found. These games are not in the Market as of 1/17/09
As i find more I would add more. If anybody finds good games add them here.
Download links below:
REMOVED LINKS DO TO BEING WAREZ!!!
Please refrain from posting any more, warning1
EDIT: These are free. No trials I think. Some are unreleased games. I like the tetris its the real one from EA Games.
are thes e free or trial ???
I have tried monopoly and bejeweled and they seem free it mentioned nothing about an expiration or trial. Monopoly is very fun. With updated Property, Utilities and Rail Roads are now Airports, Properties Are much more expensive but so is all the money you receive. Basically its Monopoly for the 21st century.
only drawback is the game play is a tad choppy.
Great find! Thanks! Hey, I wonder what happened to the Quake/doom demo? There was a video showing someone at some convention showing a demo right before the G1 was released... One of those great apps. that never reappeared on the marketplace after the initial release. Then I heard someone saying that the java layers wouldn't provide adequate framerate for playing higher end games like that and that the Quake demo was made to play around the java layers. Also other types of emulation have to been very slow to make due to this including coreplayer which the developers seem to have given up on. But I guess my question is now that everyone has root access who wants it, can these types of applications and emulators be created to bypass the java layers and run a decent framerate? Anyone know or have any ideas?
I installed SIm city and the controls were very hard to use. Shame I want to play it but its to frustrating to play.
Yeah I see the quake demo in a video of android's beta stages but haven't seen it since.
First post updated.
I'm pretty sure this would be considered "warez"? Probably against forum policy...

Not necessarily maybe if the games were out on the market with a price than this would be "warez."
Guess what its not on the market and their are no prices on these .apk files as of 1/17/09.
So i would continue to share until I see these on the market with a price tag.
Thank you

They may not be on the Android Market, but they are most definitely not free apps.

This is a borderline issue. Since the market doesn't charge is it technically "free" for now? Is that site the makers of the games?? Are they charging for a free program? putting them in the wrong.
EDIT: Closing the thread do to the apk are WAREZ

does anyone play kingdom of loathing

Official NFL, MLB, NHL apps?!

Ok so NBA released their pretty sweet application for android.
It would be nice to see NFL MLB and NHL follow in its footsteps with official apps of their own...NFL just found its way onto the Pre already and I believe MLB is on iPhone...
Maybe it would be nice to include us android folk?
I love sports tap but its always nice to have the "official" app of the sport...
speaking of... anyone know where the NBA Gametime app went? I cant find it in the market...

Don't bother asking on xda whether an app/game will be ported to Android. Email the developer directly.

Google is your friend ;-)
haha, indeed google is all of our friends
.. and still not released
In an interview with the Angry Bird makers on August 18th, they said that the Palm version would be release in a week. It was released by the way on August 25th. They also said the Android version would be released in 2 weeks, so if this is true, which it has been for WebOS, we should see it VERY soon..

Words With Friends APK

Can someone please post the APK for version 3.52? It is now marked as incompatible with the Xoom. That means you can no longer see it on the market from the Xoom. Of course if you already had it installed and had games going with your friends it is already on your Xoom, which thinks it now has to update an app that you can't view on your Xoom, which means you can't play the games until you update, which you can't update because it is "not compatible" which it in fact actually is.
Having fun with this yet?
The game is free to play so there is nothing illegal about posting the APK. Thanks.
