Yeah, but we will be catching that cyanogenmod 7 soon enough. As soon as its stable on the nexus s, it will be to the captivate in a week.

Meh I rather wait to get the galaxy note 10.1
Even though its only dual core.
It still has a beautiful screen and is plenty powerful.

Also, that tablet looks kind of cool but I don't really trust Archos. I will probably throw down a few bucks extra and get the new Asus Transformer Infinity.

Not sure if you mean the Max HD or the original maxx. The maxx HD probably beats the iPhone in most cases but the maxx I'd kind of old

I'm a bit out of touch with my 4 year old HTC Touch (windows Mobile 6). I still like the phone, but web pages no longer render properly. I need to upgrade.

We all know a Motorola device received KitKat even before Nexus users, here we see a purported Sony Xperia running Android 4.4.2, which is newer than even found on the Nexus 5 .
Is this the reason we bought Nexus? How unfaithful Google could be.

If you look closer that picture than you see that the font of the number 2 is not the same whit the rest so FAKE.
P.S. i saw some galaxy S3 clones and it said 4.2.2 but it was definitely gingerbread

This elitist attitude by some Nexus users is annoying. I thought that was supposed to die out with the Samsung fanboys when Google stopped updating for the Galaxy Nexus.
You're already getting good value for the price you pay. Why are you whining that Google is releasing (or helping to release) version updates faster for other devices, isn't that a good thing for the Android ecosystem. Is it necesary to have the latest version only for yourself to validate your self-worth and feel superior to others because you have a device with a unique brand name?

Why should they change the design? It just works and despite of what some "design purists" are going to say it's one of the best on the market. Keep in mind when looking at all those concept artworks that they are just that artworks and they don't have to acknowledge all the given limitations that exist in reality.

Since Samsung has been awarded with some patents it may change in the future, but I agree with you, it just works, having a front button to wake up the phone is great.

IMO It's like to keep the "S" family close. Since it's the "S" flagship series. They could always use other design but it'll be a black sheep.

Up to a point I'm just not that interested in how it looks. I want it to do what I want (not Verizon's or Samsung's idea of what I want) & do it right now dependably. Good battery life, easy to handle & carry. That's why I am toting GS4 dev edition with Hyperdrive rom.
