Hello, I'm attempting to install a custom rom with myth tools, but can't get ADB to connect. I installed the motorola drivers and JDK, but my phone still won't connect to my computer. I can't even see what is in the phone's memory. Any suggestions? I'm using a windows 7 64 bit computer. I tried windows 8 also and was able to transfer files to the phone, but no ADB. I'm using stock AT&T now, but I rooted it.
Thanks
You rooted but did you unlock the bootloader and put a custom recovery on it?

I have not been able to unlock the bootloader or install a custom recovery. When I try it says"daemon not running, starting on port 5037" and then nothing happens.
Many of the recent custom roms require an unlocked bootloader and CWM.
Personally, I would not attempt to install a custom rom until your bootloader is unlocked and you're running CWM.
Well you definitely can't install a rom without those 2 prerequisites. You'll end up bricking your phone. As far as the computer recognizing it. Did you turn on usb debugging? Then switch connection from media to camera and clicked allow on the box that pops up on the phone?

I downloaded the android SDK and am able to connect my GSM Galaxy Nexus. I turned on USB debugging and switched to camera mode on the Atrix HD and it still isn't listed under ADB devices.
The Atrix HD is rooted, I'm trying to use the Myth tools to unlock the bootloader and install CWM so I can install a custom ROM, but I don't think I can do that until I get an ADB connection.
I was able to unlock the bootloader, but now I can't install CWM. I'm getting the error <bootloader> variable not supported!
target reported max download size of 31457280 bytes
I went into system/etc and renamed install-recovery.sh
Not sure what to try next

The problem I am having is that my phone is bricked. It won't boot to any ROM and it's not cooperating with RSD 5.6 Lite.
I was running CM11, the 12/20 nightly with PA-GApps (Full Modular pa_gapps-modular-full-4.4.2-20131215-signed.zip), and last night I decided to download the 12/21 nightly and update. I was using the CM Updater in the phone settings and I downloaded it fine (I assume), went to flash, and it only gets past the red M and nothing else.
I have been trying numerous sites/methods to reset it to factory settings and none of it is working. I've tried all the zips at the sbf.droid-developers and I keep getting the same error:

When I go into AP Fastboot, I see the following:
AP Flashboot Flash Mode (S)
0A.77
eMMC Info: Size 16G
To return to normal mode - first press power key to power down
Device is LOCKED. Status Code: 0
Battery OK
OK to Program
Transfer Mode:
USB Connected
I originally rooted it with the CM guides and used SafeStrap Recovery as the recovery software.
Like I said, its stuck and I cannot get it to work with my RSD Lite.

If you can get into AP fastboot, you should be able to use the droid 4 utility in the development section to flash everything back to original.

Also, the guide you were using was for android 2.3. I don't think you can downgrade to eclair from jelly bean or kitkat. the utility will install 4.1. i'd recommend selecting the full wipe option.

if you already flashed cwm and viperone you should know these thing right?
you flash a recovery in bootloader mode using fastboot
Code:
fastboot flash recovery name_of_file.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
then boot in recovery and push your rom if its not already on your sdcard
Code:
adb push name_of_rom.zip /sdcard/
and select ''install'' and flash your rom.
Thanks didn't remember been a while since I did it

Hi to all, I have a motog with some battery problems, so I thought to root it to install some "battery calibration" software but the most of all require root.
So, since I wiped all, I installed Marshmallow update following this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/official-stock-firmware-t3018682
Then, I downloaded this toolkit to unlock the bootloader:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/development/ultimate-moto-g-2014-toolkit-t2979862/page13
Tried to flash the recovery with that but it doesnt works.
So I downloaded THIS toolkit:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2499926
Also with this, flashing TWRP recovery does not work at all, so I can't proceed to root.
What am I doing wrong?
I also tried to flash the recovery via command line and this is what I get:
flash recovery twrp-2.8.6.0-titan.img
target reported max download size of 536870912 bytes
sending 'recovery' (8724 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.296s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.281s]
finished. total time: 0.577s
But, after that, when I reboot, I see the standard recovery with "no command".
Any help is appreciated!!
Follow this it works perfectly http://www.droidviews.com/install-twrp-root-moto-g-2014-2nd-gen/

Thanks for your help but still doesn't works for me.
Followed these steps:
rebooted by adb on bootloader
flashed twrp 3.0.2.3 titan with the new command "fastboot flash recovery.... "
said OK.
so I tried to switch on and then i rebooted on recovery.
But recovery is still the original, with the little green android telling me "No Command".
What can be??
I can also say, when in bootloader mode I see "AP Fastboot Flash mode" and
Fastboot reason: Reboot mode set to fastboot.
But it seems everything ok to me!
Also I can say that every time phone restarts shows the "Bootloader unlocked logo"

Of course I did.
Otherwise I think the adb command should not work at all!
I'm still stuck with this MOTO G and cannot do anything.
I only have a doubt, since there was a few Firmwares avalaible for this device, what should I download?
I downloaded and installed this: XT1068_TITAN_RETAILDSDS_6.0_MPB24.65-34_cid7_CFC.xml.zip
But I also downloaded this: XT1068_TITAN_RETBR_DS_6.0_MPB24.65-34_cid12_CFC.xml.zip
What's the difference between these two firmware and what should I install on a French dual sim Moto G?
Wow, no one can help?

Hi, how do you do perform this auto-flash-recovery method? I'm having the same issues.
EDIT: Nevermind, I checked the youtube video, but the issue still remains.
I managed to brick my ME375CL in my attempt to root it, it only shows the "Intel Inside" logo when I boot it up.
After much driver install/reinstall and cursing at my computer, I managed to get it to be recognized in Intel Phone Flash Tool.
I've read the instructions on doing custom flashes in blank phone mode for other tablets, but for the life of me, I can't figure out which file is supposed to go in which field.
I would greatly appreciate any insight into this that anyone can provide.
I already have the firmware downloaded.

Thanks for the reply. I've already read through that post and attempted the steps within. The problem is that I followed those steps and they failed, now it can only be recognized as an Intel SoC by my computer, so ADB, fastboot commands and Asus Flash Tool will not work.
The only programs I've gotten to recognize the tablet is Intel's Phone Flash Tool and Flash Tool Lite.
If you haven't yet, try using the boot, system and recovery images from the firmware you downloaded in the android section of the flash tool and see what happens.

I've tried all kinds of combinations in this software, but it always fails at either the IFWI step or gives me this error:
10/08/17 14:03:09.468 INFO : Port 5/1/1: Rebooting in Provisonning OS (current state = UNKNOWN_STATUS)
10/08/17 14:03:09.468 INFO : Port 5/1/1: Cannot Reboot android device, status is UNKNOWN_STATUS
Based on the reading I've done in other threads, the only way to correct this is through a firmware flash in blankphone mode, but it won't accept any of the IFWI files that I have found for this tablet.
I appreciate you trying to help, but I can't do what you are suggesting when it's not even being detected as an Android device. Fastboot commands will not work because there's nothing on the tablet for ADB to make a connection to.
Here's what happens when I try:
Here is what my tablet is doing:
When it's detected by Intel Phone Flash Tool, it usually has a blank screen. Otherwise, it just shows that Intel logo for about 15 seconds, reboots and then does it again, endlessly.
Oh, I forgot to mention that Asus support was kind enough to offer a repair or replacement for $155, since it's out of warranty. I'm hoping for a much cheaper option.
I have never seen the intel logo on mine? Have you tried booting the tablet in to fastboot mode by shutting it down and then turn it on by holding the volume up button and the power button? If you can get to fastboot mode, you should be able to use adb commands. Unfortunately, i am not familiar with the flash software you are using.
I have a Nokia 8 model TA-1052 (this is NB1, correct?). It has a locked bootloader and is running Android 9.
I understand the HMD service for unlocking the booloader is no longer available and the only option now is using a Hikari's website.
Before I try Hikari's method I want to make sure that fastboot is working (I understand it is required?).
With the phone connected, the command "adb devices" show the phone listed but any fastboot command seems to not being able to find the phone (e.g. "fastboot devices" returns nothing).
Am I missing anything?
Thank you.
Assuming you are on Windows what does device manager show when you put the phone into fastboot mode?
Obviously you need a working driver for fastboot mode which is separate from the adb driver - how did you install the drivers and which ones did you use?

I don't have any specific Nokia drivers installed. The only USB driver showing (that seem to be related) is "ADB Interface".
I know that for some people the Nokia driver comes on the phone but mine isn't. Where can I get the driver from?
EDIT: in download mode the Win10 Device Manager shows an unknown "Android" device under other devices
