if you already flashed cwm and viperone you should know these thing right?
you flash a recovery in bootloader mode using fastboot
Code:
fastboot flash recovery name_of_file.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
then boot in recovery and push your rom if its not already on your sdcard
Code:
adb push name_of_rom.zip /sdcard/
and select ''install'' and flash your rom.
Thanks didn't remember been a while since I did it

Here is my story. I've been at this for three hours including searching XDA and other sites. Can't get any options to work.
I was trying to gain S-OFF. I installed a custom recovery (TWRP) and in doing so I could not see any files to flash the new rom... I tried flash CWM, it ended up booting to the CWM text at the bottom left with the version number, and then booting to the plain white (with htc one logo) screen and sitting there and not booting into anything else. Just sits there. Every recovery I flash through fastboot (which is my ONLY option into the phone it seems) does not boot up, the device just restarts to that annoying HTC logo screen.
I was able to get ONE recovery of twrp working and it boots up into it and displays all the options, HOWEVER, it cannot mount... Nothing will mount via twrp.
What can I do?
Screenshot of twrp attached

Flash twrp 2.6.3.3. Then run the fastboot erase cache. You should be able to get into recovery then. Any partitions that won't mount you will have to wipe in recovery. Then you can either adb sideload or adb push a Rom to your phone in recovery

You sir are an
I had just about given up hope Awesome, learned something, too!
Looks like all TWRP features seem to work even install zip or flash rom.
Any ideas on the S-OFF? I can't seem to get it I tried Revone and Firewater. I have 1.56 HBOOT none of the options I''ve looked have worked.
Good to hear. What message do you get with firewater? If you get the whelp this sucks message only sunshine will work. Which will cost you $25
I have problem with it, it resets and shows android with red triagle on it.
i can't boot into flash mode but i can into fastboot.

Looks like the CM recovery.. You have a chance of making CM work if you put whatever it is you are trying to flash into your internal storage and not to sdcard..
Please give some more info on what you are trying to do?

Hello,
The other day i :
- Install PC driver for htc one m7
- I root my phone
- I unlock the boot loader
- I install TWRP (twrp-3.0.0-2-m7)
All of this without a problem !
Next i try to install Cyanogenmod 13, obviously a bad idea becuse my phone is on android 4.4.(3 or 4) and i choose the m7 version not the m7ul.
Now my PC don't recognize my phone anymore and when i press the power button the phone starts and show a bright black screen.
I've access to bootloader but the recovery don't whant to starts.
I try factory reset with no success.

Afaik, the "M7_UL" variant was merged to "M7" so you've flashed the right one.

Isn't your phone detected when selecting "FASTBOOT" from the bootloader? You should then see "FASTBOOT USB" in red. From there you should update your firmware to at least 7.19.401.2 and reflash your recovery/rom if needed.

Factory reset is often misinterpreted. A factory reset will ne revert anything back to its factory state after you've modded your phone. The only thing it's doing is wiping the /data partition where your personal data and app data are stored. The rom didn't booted so there is nothing to wipe in /data that could fix your phone.
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934534374
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip M7_UL_Firmware_7.19.401.2.zip
fastboot flash zip M7_UL_Firmware_7.19.401.2.zip
fastboot reboot-bootloader
https://android.cmphys.com/download/1250/?version=3-0-m5-0
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.M5-0-m7univ.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Then try to boot in recovery and reflash your rom (if needed).
If its still not working you could flash the latest ruu and try again.
No just after i flash the rom my computer (windows 7 x64) stop recognize the phone.
I try on a win10 today my htc show a fastboot in red but no fastboot usb.
I'm blocked here. :s
Thanks
I'm trying to unlock bootloader. Checked all options in dev options like USB debugging and enable unlock bootloader.
Installed all the drivers. Booted into bootloader.
But when trying to see "adb devices", it doesn't show any devices.
For sometime, it shows some kedacom usb driver. I tried googling and tried to uninstall it and use google driver also. Even in device manager, it shows Android Device - Android ADB Interface, but still it shows nothing in list of devices attached in adb.
Also tried this thread - https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/solved-adb-is-not-working.347296/, but still doesn't work. Can someone help me out here?

Do you have TWRP installed? In that case flashing Super Su or Magisk from within TWRP should get you rooted. If TWRP isn't installed, Check for Funk Wizards thread in the official forum https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/...a-help-thread-ask-your-questions-here.477285/
Also, adb doesn't work from bootloader. It's fastboot in the bootloader. Enter recovery and check then
Seems like your phone is in bootloader/fastboot mode instead of in-rom ADB or TWRP ADB mode. This is the mode you're phone has to be in to be able to flash other recoveries like TWRP which however also requires your phone to be OEM bootloader unlocked (which completely wipes your phone), and from there you enter TWRP recovery using bootloader menu or power plus volume down, and there flash the latest 2.79 SR3 SuperSU to archive root/sudo functionality.
Either that or you actually did activate ADB under development options and accidentally installed the ADB device using the fastboot/bootloader driver instead of the ADB device driver.
When your in fastboot, you need to use fastboot devices as the command and other fastboot commands. You use adb devices command when your using adb, and connected with phone in recovery or booted.
I just installed the drivers that are on the phone when you plug it in in windows and minimal adb and fastboot from xda.
Thank you all. I followed ur inputs and now it worked fine. I installed a custom rom too.
Thanks again.

Excellent, enjoy.
Hello there
I think i did somethinh wrong while trying to install twrp. Now when it boots it stays stuck on twrp screen, i cant switch it off. If i try, it will boot again on twrp screen. But i can boot it on fastboot mode.
I tryed with adb commnds to reinstall twrp but it does not recocnize dhe device when the phone is in fastboot mode.
If i boot the phone on the stuck twrp screen it is recognized by adb but it does not executes any command.
Eventually i thought trying to clean flash the stock rom will fix everything and i can try again with a fresh start. But the mi flash gives error,; flashing is not allowed for critical partitions.
The bootloader is unlocked.
Your browser is not able to display this video.
Try flashing your original boot.img (that worked with your current ROM version) back to the device from Fastboot.

Not adb. You need to be in bootloader mode with Fastboot access to be able to flash boot back. Power up the device in bootloader mode with the vol+power buttons and confirm that your device has Fastboot access (e.g 'fastboot devices' returns your device id). Flash your boot from there. If Fastboot access is impossible, it's a bigger issue but try that first...

Update. It loks like using adb was the problem. But using the platform tools i could execute comands and i fixed the issue. The phone is clean and i could flash the stock rom with mi flash.

Hello, i have the same problem. Did you use only mi flash to resolve the issue?
Mi A2 does not have /recovery partition, a recovery is a part of the /boot image, and thus TWRP is not to be "flashed" into /boot (or absent /recovery), but can be "patched" into /boot installing appropriate .ZIP file in a temporarily booted TWRP (tip: search Guides).
This "revelation" could be found in many threads / guides in this forum - search could help you.
As well as "revelations" answering your question:
AndroidOne devices do not need any MiFlash (except for testpoint unbricking, tip: search Guides), if bootloader and critical partitions are unlocked, just normal fastboot.exe from latest Android platform-tools (tip: search in Guides).
