I really love what Google is doing with this "cards and sidebar" UI that they're starting to use in all their apps, and the new YouTube app (in my opinion, at least) is a huge improvement because of the new UI. My feeling (or at least my hope) is that Google will expand this design to encompass the entire OS in Key Lime Pie. Would anyone else like to see this? I love Android's current design, but it's starting to feel a little stale after 2 years. Thoughts?

I love being able to swipe the video window up and down and swipe to the side to stop it. Google really knocked it out of the park with this update, which is why I hope that Key Lime Pie borrows its design cues from YouTube and the current version of most of the other Google apps.

Dear XDA,
I recently purchased the premium version of the xda app and I love it.
I was just wondering I guess if there is a honeycomb modified version in the works.
If you would like a person to beta test and report to you, I would be thrilled!
Thanks,

+1.. would also like to see a tablet version.
It's based on Tapatalk, so I think they would have to update Tapatalk first. Correct me if I'm wrong.
But, yes, that would be great!
Add me as someone who would pay again for a tablet version. I am guessing that tapatalk would need to be updated first.
Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk
Off topic, but I don't like tapatalk (even though I paid for the premium xda app), and would like to know who decided it was a good idea to pop up the "native android" tapatalk window on every friggin' android forum so I can send them a rotten cabbage.
+1 on the rotten cabbage.
yes, my xda premium app works fine on my galaxy tablet, but always forces close on my new xoom. I would love to see an update real soon.

Hopefully this is being worked on. I don't see why it wouldn't seeing as this is primarily an android hacking site.
It can't be done without a tablet version of Tapatalk (which I would love to see)
So xda can't create an app independent of Tapatalk? I'm not buying that. I know the current xda app is based off/connected to Tapatalk, but i don't see how they couldn't create an app.

They probably could develop a custom one but why reinvent the wheel? I recommend contacting the developers of Tapatalk if you want resolution to issues and create a Honeycomb friendly version. That would be much faster than programming a custom app.

It's kinda nice, but it's awful at the same time too. The green color reminds me of Google Market from android 2.x era.
I do like the first page of each category better then before, where there were just banners and no text so you had to guess what it was.
Maybe it's preparing for KLP look? Are we getting back the Green? (nooooo, i like blue!)
Anyhow, thanks for sharing!

Yeah, I got one: You're in the same boat as everyone outside of the continental United States, the new Play Store is currently only rolling out there.
So, until they roll it out worldwide, countries like Australia or the whole of Europe will just have the categories on the main screen.
Apart from that small "flaw" though it works perfectly, just bought an icon pack a few hours back on my phone, went without a hitch.

I love Blinkfeed. I literally catch myself using 4-5 times a day
D3rped out Beastmode! HTC ONE!
At first I felt like it was too cluttered and too random and unimportant a bit of info. But now I find myself checking it when I'm on the can for my morning constitutional. Not bad, I suppose.
I want to like it, but I wish they would shrink the font so headlines aren't cut off so often. It's like a bad version of Flipboard
Try only picking one source under the highlights tab...there is a lot of content from every source ..blinkfeed just shows you the highlight stories..aka the sources top story
Sent from my HTCONE using xda app-developers app
i know i def tend to check it when i'm bored but for me alot of the same stories show up from different sources
I also like Blinkfeed a lot and find myself using it 3-4 times a day, especially during my commute. There was that one incident involving a picture of my girlfriend that I wish never happened, but I've since learned to be much more careful..
I guess I'm just too "Old School." I don't like Blinkfeed at all. I prefer to simply go to the individual sources for my info.
I like it myself . Just wish it had more feeds.

Thx~! I'm using the launcher right now and it's pretty slick. Reminds me of GoLauncher Ex, except 3D. I just wish it allowed up to 8 apps per dock, like I have on Hololauncher.
Overall, I like it but I would never pay >$5 for it.

That sucks. After 24 hours, I'm sure it won't be free anymore.

Takes apple 2 and 3 years to develop a OS..and its only for ONE single model device....only one....but android is for over 500 devices. Its going to be more reliable if its only for one single device.

It would be also a tragedy, if iOS was supported on huge line of third-party devices. Android is OK, because it runs on VM and very modular. iOS is not.
