Hello.
You can use the micro usb card reader (rare thing) or otg + usb card reader.

I know Im posting a lot, but Im going crazy because I cant get it fixed! My phone shows the htc logo then dies then shows it again over and over when connected to my pc and does nothing when its off. So I got a new battery and it worked great till the battery died and now Im in the same place I started. Any ideas? Or what is the best/cheapest way to get HTC/tmobile to fix it.
sounds like it's not charging ? maybe try an external battery charger.... dirt cheap off ebay..
1 amp charger
I had a similar issue on mine where if the battery got low enough it would refuse to turn on unless you connected it to a wall charger. A PC would not charge it.

Think you need replace your sd card
Now we getting somewhere... Remove the bottom plastic cover, undo the silver sticky tape, you will have enough space to release and reinsert card. Note you cannot remove it without removing the screws. Sd card slot is next to the sim card. Hope it fixes ur problem

Should I try formatting the card on my computer and if so what format? Fat? Fat32?
Will not be able to format with PC. May be an old nokia but the original card is encrypted. If I was you I would try new card, or any card laying around and see if the phone reads it.

i am getting 32GB class 10 for my note. is there anyway that i can use my external microSD as my internal microSD so that i have 32GB space instead of 11GB?
There is a thread in which the thread head taught us about making internal card apps games an all move to Sd and vice-versa.
And what you are asking is next to impossible.i have never seen anythg like this in xda.

There is away to repartition your internal storage to include external, it has performance decrements, but if you want to try it its available. Fraid you'll have to search though.

I'm sorry but why would you ever need that? )

There is a faster way that is more easily reversible. Just search "directory bind" on xda.
The app will allow you to bind pairs of directories. Meaning I can move the folder with the huge game data files onto the external SD, and while mounted and bonded to the old directory for apps to read.

Nope if it supports SDXC it'll take up to 2TB (When they're released)
In fact most things with SDHC support will take SDXC cards if they're formatted FAT32.
While you are in the future can you grab a flux capacitor? Been needing to pick that up

But 64GB Micro SDXC cards have been out for at least a year now...
The only reason they say up to 64gb is because 128 were not available during the time the phone came out. They do work have one in my phone right now. Just wish I could put some of my apps on it.

"The Secure Digital eXtended Capacity (SDXC) format supports cards up to 2 TB (2048 GB), compared to a limit of 32 GB for SDHC cards in the SD 2.0 specification."
The next iterations of cards we will see will be 128, 256, 512 and then 1tb and 2tb. Seems farfetched with the sizes but about 10 years ago I purchased a 128MB (yes megabyte) card for $80 at walmart for my Compaq Ipaq.
Been keeping my eye out for the new 128gbs also. Samsung is known to be working on them but I haven't seen much more than that.

Hello to everyone! I just want to make sure cause my English is not very good.
Would the new flagship from HTC officially support USB OTG or USB host?
Thank you!

That's cool so I won't miss removable storage on my HTC one, and I can use my USB pen drive and many other devices and I can use same connector I bought for S3, That's really practical If I am shooting large video I can transfer video file to usb and never run out of space, but r u sure will it work out of box and without rooting?
My otg cable is already in its way. Should be getting it by the end of the week.

Allows you to plug in USB flash sticks, SD card readers etc for expandable storage. Can't run anything that draws too much power (ie etc hard drives) but otherwise works well.
You need a micro usb - usb OTG adaptor.

Just like this one that I bought last week.

USB otg will always be an inferior option compared to hot swappable micro sd.
What is more convenient, micro SD card or a cable sticking out of your phone + a USB flash drive?

For me, USB. I don't always have to watch movies. When I have to, I'll just plug the USB, maybe I'll copy the movie to internal and then I'm cable free, after watching I'll delete it. This way no cable, no swapping of SDs and internal doesn't pose to be a problem

That depends to some extent on whether you want to access the files on the drive while the phone is charging.

Please don't get me wrong, but I want to use "DSLR Controller" on my next Android so I want to be 100% sure about USB OTG.
My DHD does not support it even with JellyTime.
