Hi all,
I've installed the DMod v6 on my SIII mini but now I'd like to get back to the official ROM and cleanup all my private folders, app stuffs, cookies, caches ecc.... because I'd like to give my SIII Mini to a frind of mine so I want it back exactly as it was when I've bought it.
Is it possible? If I'm not wrong when I installed new version of ROMs some stuffs and app folder were still present after burning.... how can I be sure that all will be cleaned up?
Thanks!

Yes it Will..
Because only in our India its called GALAXY POP !
And all other countries as GALAXY MINI !
Nothing will happen by the change of the name ..
GO ahead Download and Flash the GingerBread Firmware from SAMFIRMWARE.COM..
You Need To Partition your SD card only If you are going to install an Overclocked Kernel !
For More Details about Overclocking Kernel and partitioning Check the following link !!

Hello everyone!
So after going through extensively and flashing/reflashing/hanging modem flash/etc. etc. I finally got a working KingDroid v2.1 installed and working on my Galaxy Note via this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26584842&postcount=1014
and this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1659308
The problem is, when I flash the S3 mod, I don't think I have the new S3 themes and live wallpapers; I don't understand whats going on. I know that the Dandelion live wallpaper comes with the S3 mod so why don't I have it?
The files I'm working with are KingDroid_ICS_NoteMania_Edition_v2.1 and KingDroid_S3_OPTIONAL_Mod_v2. What am I doing wrong?
Hi, 2.1 does not work with the s3 mod, only 2.0 is compatible.

Hello,
Thank you so much for your quick reply.
So I installed v2.0 and then S3 mod right on top. There are a few apps that were not in v2.1 such as Flipbook and My Story. However, the Dandelion S3 Wallpaper is missing. And because thats missing, I think I installed something improperly... What gives?
Also, just want to point out, I also did all the 3 wipes so I'm assuming that I should be on a clean slate?
Just to confirm, you flashed v2, AND IN THE SAME FLASH, you then flashed s3 mod? And used abyss 4.2 redpill?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Yes that is correct.
I first flashed Abyss > Reboot Recovery > 3 Wipes > Flashed 2.0 > Flashed S3 Mod WITHOUT booting up first
I've been using CM 7 on my Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 and recently it has started to crash really frequently... So how do I remove it?
I understand that I'll have to download some "ROM" and go into download mode (how?) and then do something..
Please have in mind that my USB is NOT working for some odd reason but I can transfer files to my phone via Airdroid if transferring ROMs(?) is a thing I have to do.
EDIT: My android version CURRENTLY (with CM) is 2.3.7, before it was 2.0.2.
You're in the wrong section. Please post in the right section next time.
Try searching a flashable Stock ROM. If u don't find one, buy a new USB cable.

So I guess I'm staying with Cyanogenmod...
You can try a Stock Based Rom or even a CM 7 based ROM which is more stable.
A few good ROMs have been reviewed by me here,

You can read and download the one u like or further you can visit my blog www.andro-sapien.blogspot.in

1. Flash your current official firmware via Odin
2. Upgrade to Gingerbread flashing a stock rom via Odin
I advice you to be careful flashing GB roms when you are using Froyo, so you should upgrade to GB before flashing a GB custom based rom
Here It's tutorial about how to flash/upgrade the GT-s5830 firmware

There's no such thing as uninstalling a rom, just flash a new one and you're good to go
Hello,
is it possible for me to "download" the rom from my working galaxy mini so I can install on my broken one?
I already have some experience with odin and know a bit how it works.
Sorry for my bad English, I'm from Belgium.

You mean that is it possible to download a stock ROM using your Mini? Of course you can.
But with better browser such as Opera Mini / UCMini & you'll need a PC to flash stock ROM
But if your broken phone able to boot CWM Recovery then you don't have to flash stock ROM
Flash any other custom ROMs from xda instead :good:
