[Q] Rom out phone - Samsung Galaxy Mini

Hello,
is it possible for me to "download" the rom from my working galaxy mini so I can install on my broken one?
I already have some experience with odin and know a bit how it works.
Sorry for my bad English, I'm from Belgium.

You mean that is it possible to download a stock ROM using your Mini? Of course you can.
But with better browser such as Opera Mini / UCMini & you'll need a PC to flash stock ROM
But if your broken phone able to boot CWM Recovery then you don't have to flash stock ROM
Flash any other custom ROMs from xda instead :good:

Everytime i flash my Galaxy Mini with a CM7 Version (tried with 3 differents) it does not boot anymore so i have to flash it again with a stock ROM from sam.
I flash with cmw and when i try to start after flashing only the letters ANDROID appear on the black screen and thats it so i can not recommend to flash any mini to cm7.
did you make wipe before flash and after?

Custom ROM GT-S5570I

is it ok to install Galaxy Mini (GT-S5570) Custom ROM in GT-S5570i device?
mate i just revived my pop plus by the sammy guys today(Samsung Service Center)...I went through alot of hassle cuz of a guy stating that the touch CWM was working in POP plus..i don't blame him fully...I blame myself too..Considering the Clockworkmod of mini not working on pop plus ,i doubt that a custom rom would..

2.What are the main bugs with ics and jb roms?
3.What is the best recovery?
4.What is the fastest GB rom that has no bugs?

Hi cistamlaka, be aware that it is your uncle's phone, not yours. So I would be very careful on rooting and upgrading to a different rom. If he is on a stock 2.3.3, I think (because I had it) there is an update to 2.3.6. It fixes a couple of lags.
If you root him the phone and push some new rom onto it, he might be confused because he will lose the TouchWiz and some applications. Check first with him, what applications (and if some Samsung-made) he uses and if he is okay to change the looks of the phone.
Isnt it right that he has only to download a file and change it to "update.zip" to flash it via stock recovery? A friend of me needs that file, is it the same to use as on sgs plus (i9001)?

[Q] How to uninstall Cyanogenmod 7?

I've been using CM 7 on my Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 and recently it has started to crash really frequently... So how do I remove it?
I understand that I'll have to download some "ROM" and go into download mode (how?) and then do something..
Please have in mind that my USB is NOT working for some odd reason but I can transfer files to my phone via Airdroid if transferring ROMs(?) is a thing I have to do.
EDIT: My android version CURRENTLY (with CM) is 2.3.7, before it was 2.0.2.
You're in the wrong section. Please post in the right section next time.
Try searching a flashable Stock ROM. If u don't find one, buy a new USB cable.

So I guess I'm staying with Cyanogenmod...
You can try a Stock Based Rom or even a CM 7 based ROM which is more stable.
A few good ROMs have been reviewed by me here,

1. Flash your current official firmware via Odin
2. Upgrade to Gingerbread flashing a stock rom via Odin
I advice you to be careful flashing GB roms when you are using Froyo, so you should upgrade to GB before flashing a GB custom based rom
Here It's tutorial about how to flash/upgrade the GT-s5830 firmware

There's no such thing as uninstalling a rom, just flash a new one and you're good to go
