which one xperia sp or Gs3 or onemini

hello guys,
i hope this is the right forum to ask this sort of question
i am looking forward to buy a new phone
which one should i busy xperia sp
or galaxy s3
or should i wait for htc one mini to be released?
and help will be appreciated.

i have around 350$ which phone would be best?

Definitely not HTC One Mini, inferior CPU, way inferior GPU, same amount of RAM, same mediocre screen but smaller, no micro SD card slot, and probably costs a lot more.
Galaxy S4 mini seems like a better option, but has lower screen resolution and is overpriced.
My opinion, if you're OK with non-expandable 16GB of storage, go with Nexus 4, if it's available in your country. If not, SP.

these nexus 4 devices are bought from online sites like ebay or amazon or other sites
i am 16 and dont have any type of card to pay at those sites
price of nexus 4 on Pakistani online shopping sites is nearly 400$ just for 8gb version

OK, so my advice, go to a local shop and test both SP and S4 mini, see whichever one you like. Forget S3 and One mini.
One more thing, S4 mini, being a Samsung kinda-flagship, will probably get a lot of developer support.

SP's soc is better than one mini's.

Not necessarily, 4412 is a quad-core A9, 8960T only krait300 dual-core, on the cpu, 4412 better than the 8960T. But the GPU side, adreno320 is better than mali400mp4, and support more api, such as OpenGL ES 3.0.

In my opinion , gs 3 is too old , you would better choose htc one mini or sp . But htc one mini will be much more expensive than sp . And one mini 's configuration is similar to sp or even worse ！so I suggest you should choose sp

[Q] I want to buy a Xperia SP

Hello guys, i am in a big dilema, i want to upgrade my samsung galaxy express, and i am thinking to buy one of this 2 phones: Motorola moto G, Sony Xperia SP. I want the best experience out of this phones, i think all of them can run games pretty smooth, but i am more interested of smooth scrool trough menu, apps etc. Bottom line, i want the best android experience. My personal choice would be the Xperia SP but i have read in this forum that it has some problems, are they that bad? or true? i saw 2 SP versions, 3G and 4G (this is not a must for me) C5303 or C5302 have problems? They have a similar price in my country, that is why its so hard to pick a phone
I am researching this phones for about a week, and my top would be this:
1. Xperia SP
2. Moto G
But i`m not sure, so that is why i am asking you guys

The Xperia SP is 365 $ in Romania and ZR 469 $ with 500$ i could buy the nexus 5...

I would say so but others will disagree the nexus 5 was my first choice but I couldn't afford it.
Programming is a race between engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.

If you look at spec and updates I'd say go with N5. But the XSP is also a very good device. Just a bit (very) slow with updates from Sony sometimes

Nexus 5 without any questions

Im changing my SP with locked BL to moto G, if I can spend more money I'll go for an n5.
Never more to sony, only clean android devices like this moto and nexus, and custom rom.
Maybe in couple months I will find some extra money to change phone to n5 or newer (5,5" n6 would be awesome)

Well maybe benchmarks says that SP is better, but software is crap (lag, freezing and slow IO), it would be wonderfull to have unlockable bootloader, but its impossible on my one (orange carrier). I had nexus 7 and it make 18k on antutu after customization, multitasking was great and all creativity, SP got 23,500 but its much slower in multitasking and overall usage.
Package arrived, but I will test new toy after work :good:

Im not buying new device to downgrade software
On N7 multitasking still was lot better than stock 4.1.2 on SP

I strongly advice anyone against buying a Sony device. Slow updates and when you finally get one it's crap... again... I'm so frustrated by the SP, but unfortunately I don't have the money to get another device right now. If you can buy the nexus 5... do it! Otherwise the Moto G is a good option too. I said this before and people started ranting at me because the SP was much better in their opinion, but I've tested the Moto G and I liked it better than the SP. It even had 4.4 long before Sony started rolling out 4.3! And it has less annoying bugs which gives a better overall user experience.
Like binniebin said, you need the software to go with the hardware otherwise the hardware is nothing. If only Sony could make decent firmware :crying:
If you can have a very sexy and beautiful girl with Double D's if that's your thing, but she is stupid as a cow which drives you crazy after a while OR you can have a still very beautiful girl, but with a little smaller (you know what I mean)'s and she'll do almost everything as you want because she is smart(er) and understands you... You'd be better off with the second one eventhough people say she is less hot.
Yet another another anology: You can better have 150 horsepower in a lightweight streamlined car than 200 horsepower in a heavy old scrapheap which has the aerodynamic characteristics of a brick wall because the lightweight will be more fun... But well maybe that's just my opinion....

Better option is to exchange Xperia SP for Nexus 4 and take some cache. :laugh:

Buying xperia Z

Hi guys,
I am unhappy owner of xperia sp. It has two disadvantages:jelly bean 4.3 and 1 GB RAM ( it freezes).
Now I have 600 PLN(about 142Euro) and I'm thinking about buying xperia Z.
Is it still worth buying? Thanks

Darn good question. Waiting to hear from those who already have the Z. I myself have an xperia s but if i can get my hands on a cheap Z should i go for it or is it not worth the trouble???

It these days. Xperia Z is a balanced device. There are many devices with more RAM space. And better CPU and GPU and other things. But they are expensive. Xperia Z is cheap device now. And has a great specs. Great enough for daily usage. Even for heavy users (like me )
It may and may not get some issues. But believe me they all has a solutions (except hard bricks)
I recommend you to buy it. But if you have more money so it would be better to get better Xperia devices like Z1 or Z2.

Wow its interesting you would prefer the Sirocco over the xz premium I'm really curious for the reason please? What are you unhappy about the Sony which you believe would be better with the Sirocco?

Not really an upgrade just like the design

Sirocco have his own class. Sirooco is not the best in the world but is one of the bestest. And have not direct competitors. Snapdragon 835, 6GB Ram/128Rom, Dual camera, IP 67...but unique design an form factor, curved super bright OLED and so important - Android ONE. And this luxus feeling in hand. I had Xz2 compact and xz1 compact. I love SONY, but Sirocco is with better screen, and that is personaly but unique design and feeling in hand. And one more time - Android One is super fast and battery saving.
