Buy Xperia Z or waiting for One Sony series?

Up till now, there are many rumors said sony is preparing its new series of smartphone, which is called "One Sony series". It will feature Cyber-shot and walkman. Sounds very powerful. So if the rumor is true, Xperia Z will become the last smartphone of Xperia series. Does it still worth buying?

wait if you can wait.

Buy it if you want it. This is technology we're talking here. They go outdated in a matter of months, weeks even. You may wait for the rumoured one series and when it finally arrives, there'll be rumours of a two series and so on. You can never win the race with technology.

You know, no one can answer that question for you.
There will always be newer devices, the device(s) you mentioned aren't even out yet, they might not be what you initially thought they would've been. So in the end you're the only one that can answer your own question.

why pepole need more then what the xperia z has?
4 cores 2 giga ram full hd good look
i dont think need to wait for new technology
even my pc dont have 4 cores

If i was u, with a lil + money, u can have the incredible Xperia ZR too (my other dream device): PRICE

That's 4600 over his budget though.

SP ain't bad at all. If you are not too much of a camera person, then go for it.

Zr is not available less than 27k in my city .. i can buy it if its comes to 25k

Not at all! It depends of what you need: if you want a larger screen, a faster CPU (I think that S4 pro dual is faster than S400), if you don't care to have the last android updates like kit kat and you are ready to put the difference of100$ in a xperia,
You've got the shining illumination bar and so on after that my little deception is the weight but I accepted it long time ago

Horrible idea, It's considered a downgrade more than an upgrade. The SP only has a better GPU. Stick with the G for now, if you really like Sony, wait for the Xperia G to come out (a new mid-range phone) I own an SP but I wouldn't recommend buying it now, maybe last year but now, definatly not. Also it weighs a ton which is one of it's bigger flaws.

This phone is incredibly fast though and it only improved when 4.3 came out

It is fast, and I like my SP but I would never recommend anyone to buy it now where there are cheaper devices that perform better (moto G)
It is still a dual core after all.

well the dual core krait in the SP is much faster than the moto G and it has better gpu, the camera's are on par, but only because of the terrible software on the xsp, the battery in the sp trumps the G and not to mention the LED strip on the XSP. wait till the xperia G comes out, now thats gonna be one heck of a phone

[Q] I want to buy a Xperia SP

Hello guys, i am in a big dilema, i want to upgrade my samsung galaxy express, and i am thinking to buy one of this 2 phones: Motorola moto G, Sony Xperia SP. I want the best experience out of this phones, i think all of them can run games pretty smooth, but i am more interested of smooth scrool trough menu, apps etc. Bottom line, i want the best android experience. My personal choice would be the Xperia SP but i have read in this forum that it has some problems, are they that bad? or true? i saw 2 SP versions, 3G and 4G (this is not a must for me) C5303 or C5302 have problems? They have a similar price in my country, that is why its so hard to pick a phone
I am researching this phones for about a week, and my top would be this:
1. Xperia SP
2. Moto G
But i`m not sure, so that is why i am asking you guys

The Xperia SP is 365 $ in Romania and ZR 469 $ with 500$ i could buy the nexus 5...

go for XPERIA SP, its a really awsum phone with gud features with less price range.. :good:

Hi,
I'm going to buy a new phone and after many comparisons, I'm between Moto Razr (xt925) and Xperia SP.
What do you say about both phones?
Considering: Devices & Custom ROMs

Get the lg g2, it is cheap with great specs.

Moto Razr (xt925) has got adreno 225 while SP has got adreno 320 gpu. Xperia SP has got many stable roms(dont know about Moto).
So go for SP

Our beloved Xperia SP has TFT screen which is great when in sunlight but sucks in dark. And you'll be force to use Stock ROMs/Stock Based Custom roms, because music beat led bar will only work in those ROMs and the stock roms won't let you multi task:crying:. But Motorola's After Sales suck. They'll charge you 60% cost of the phone just to replace the Screen. Go for Sony if you want to Unlock bootloader, then relock and still claim warrenty(TA Backup).
I recently bought a brand new Sony Xperia SP for 180$. believe me if i had the choice to buy MRHD in that price I'd have gone for it.
But i don't regret buying Sony Xperia SP, I can use this as a Playstation TV alternative. I use a Dualshock 3+MHL Cable to Play games on my TV.
