Download twrp-3.0.2-0-j3lte.img.tar
Download PGP Signature twrp-3.0.2-0-j3lte.img.tar.asc
and i did not see super user file ????
Question; I have a J320vpp (Verizon pre-paid), same Qualcomm chipset as the 320YZ but 32bit. Will this recover work on my device?
Just thought I'd add that this version of TWRP works on the Samsung J3 (2016) J320ZN - An Australian/New Zealand model. Only one I've got to work on it.
Don't root following the normal method with TWRP and SuperSU.zip though for the J320ZN. That will bootloop. You need to do your TWRP stuff, then flash the following CF-Autoroot: https://download.chainfire.eu/986/C...3lteusc-j3lteusc-smj320r4.zip?retrieve_file=1
Hello,
I have Samsung j3 2016(SM-J320F) will this work?

How To Guide How to keep root while updating (OTA/ local install)

Goes without saying- DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO YOUR DEVICE.
Click to collapse
1. Enable developer options on your phone.
2. Go to “Settings” → “Developer options” and disable the “Automatic system updates” option.
3. Open the Magisk Manager application, disable all you modules. Select “Uninstall Magisk” → “Restore Images” option. Magisk will restore your phone’s stock boot image that was backed up during the rooting process.
If you are getting error like "stock backup does not exist" then just skip step 3.

Click to collapse

}
4. Go to “Settings” → “About Device” → “Click on OxygenOS” → “Local Install" / "Download" if OTA is available.
5. Once the update is downloaded/loaded, click on "Extract" and wait for extraction to complete.
6. Once extraction is done, wait for verification to complete.
7. [IMPORTANT] Once verification is done, you'll get an option to "Install". DO NOT CLICK ON THE INSTALL BUTTON YET. Since you restored the stock boot image, the root access will be lost if you install it now.
7. Open Magisk Manager, click on “Install” → “Install to Inactive Slot (After OTA)” → "Let's Go" and install Magisk to the inactive slot (where the OxygenOS OTA has been installed).
8. Wait for Magisk to do its thing.
9. I would suggest not clicking "Reboot" from magisk instead go back to settings and click on Install (where you had left before).
10. That's it, your phone should reboot to updated OxygenOS with the root still intact.
Cheers!!!
