Skype/MyVerizon .apk

Hey guys,
Hoping someone out there has the .apk files for Skype w/video and MyVerizon.
I had Skype with video working but once I reflashed a new nightly, I lost video.

installed above Skype apk and it tells me I have to call Verizon to update my plan...

Says the same for me. Skype normal not mobile worked for me though. I tried an older version of skype mobile and it does the same. The first date was 4/30 and the second was 3/13 I think. Maybe it has to do with your current data plan?

That is not correct actually - with Skye Mobile for Verizon you would be able to use skype over Verizon's network - I used it for over 1 yea without any issues. Until I got the thunderbolt. Skype needs to make that app compatible with the new phone. AND QUICKLY!!!!!!!!

Try searching. It's also in my Sig.

Why thank you I didnt search because I didnt know that. I just know I had some skype moblie .apk's. Then I search google and found out that it didnt work for the thunderbolt. Give me more time and I would have found you post. Atleast I was putting forth the effort to help.

The first one is the first version released the second one is an update that adds some more features the third link is a mirror to the updated version cause some member said they recieved 404 errors when trying to download

revamped version of the original to add for features still in it's early work will keep it updated for u all also changing the mirror link for version 2.2 making it the original link instead

I like it, its just like the browser but in a app. You get all the features, like being able to change your profile pick, & more. Great Job with it

I'm not to sure this app is in still early development from which I heard I believe that feature will be added soon u can also have the other face book app install for that till that happens . Hope this helps

Found WhatsApp to be the most common and relliable

the only way we will get it is if rim sell it off or make it a pay for app where rim get a cut

Last I heard, RIM are planning on updating BlackBerry's to run Android apps so I guess there's a chance, no matter how slim, that it may go the other way too and BB apps will be available on the android market...

Blackberry do run android apparently but not native. It runs on a emulator type. So the Rep says

But the S Voice in S3 doesn't perform well compared with Siri

How do you mean? Mine works fine, weather,reminders,email,app launches,SMS,calling...

I have tried it in apk, but it fails to open after the configuration wizard. I will try again in the future, but I think there's some problem with the hardware control, since it's not a Samsung...

so this is samsung s` voice working on 4x?

can someone please upload the file elsewhere. why the hell would i need to authenticate the download using facebook?!

When i try to log in with my fake fb account it just says "Abuse blocked". Why the hell would anyone ever upload anything to a place like this?

LG is busy with Quick Voice, this is a look a like of Sire. But i'm not sure if the 4x HD gets it.

S voice needs the Touchwiz framework for that to work. Besides, Google Now is far superior than Svoice

What app can read and edit openoffice.org files

I use openoffice.org on the laptop and would like to use the files on the GT w/o converting them to microsoft office formats. Any one know of a free office app that will read openoffice.org formats?

I use OpenDocument Reader.

Thank you I appreciate you all think I'm an idiot that has not done this search. But this only shows "readers" ..I was asking the community about an app that you can EDIT the openoffice.org docs not just read them

Not trying to be offensive... if you already searched for it you should mention that... too many people don't use Google at all
All I can find as well is a reader. You could try Google docs, IIRC it does open office and I think the latest version's pretty good... other than that I think you're out luck...

Try to convert the docs using an app in android and then edit them with something like quick office or kingsoft office
