Hello
I'm on stock (4.2.2) rom but rooted and bootloader unlock
CWM touch re-installed via AIO toolkit
I decided to Backup my system : it seemed to be OK
I reboot : Stuck on Screen HTC ONE
So i decided to restore my backup from CWM Touch
Found the zip, reinstall seems to be OK but always stuck on boot
I can access the phone via ADB in USB mode
I'm blocked before the ONE sound during the boot
What can i do ?
I've been able to reboot after a hardreset via CWM
But i don't understand what did happen
I'm afraid not to be able to save my system

Try the command fastboot erase cache
Isn't it so that you need to flash the boot.img of your backup folder as well
Edit; oh they should be the same.. you can try reflash your boot.img and indeed erase cache

Let me know if it works and how you done it that would be great thanks
Working with flyhalfs touch (CWM) version, everything is fine.
After flashing the recovery u should fastboot erase cache.
If u got no rom on SD u should connect an OTG before booting into recovery and flash zip from external sd.

erasing the cache solved the problem. thanks helmut!
Mine still not having it it's saying tampered and unlocked any ideas
Flash this
Then flash it from cmd with
Code:
fastboot flash recovery CWM_Touch_6.0.2.8_M7.img
Code:
fastboot erase cache
If there are still problems, rename CWM_Touch_6.0.2.8_M7.img to "recovery.img" and use the command "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"

When you flash the recovery.img, was it successful and did you wipe the cache afterward?
Are you able to enter the bootloader then select Recovery, does it try to enter recovery then reboots?

I get the screen saying unlocked and fast boot and so on you know the one with all the coloured text but won't do anything else
Try flashing a different recovery to the one you have installed.

I seem to be having the exact same problem. Really starting to annoy me, I need to root my phone already haha!
Did you end up getting it to work?
Cheers!
same problem here....tried alle the recommended recoveries, but none worked for me.
When i flashed recovery it says all succeded, then i try to get into recovery, but it still reboots, htc logo appears, than for about 4-5 seconds the screen stays black and then there comes the t-mobile carrier logo and boot sound :/

according to the TWRP thread, it doesn't seem to be supported yet
I've got the same problem with the non working recovery. I now tried the CWM Touch AND Classic Recovery v6.0.3.0.
I tried to flash them with the All in One Tool by Hasoon 2000 and also manually with CMD commands (fastboot flash recovery & afterwards fastboot erase cache). It always said flash successful, but it's not able to boot into recovery.
I've got a Swiss HTC One Branded by Swisscom (which seems to use a vodafone CID: VODAP110).
My Build Number is 1.28.161.7 CL162357 release-keys
may that cause the problem?
I somehow got it to work. I didn't make any changes (that I can remember) but I tried it the next day again, booting into recovery with the HTC One (M7) All-In-One Toolkit V1.0, and it just worked!
Hopefully you guys can get it to work somehow too!
HA! I finally got it.
Just don't try to flash recovery as recovery, flash it as a boot img. CWM touch and TWRP was NOT working for me, but normal CWM does.
But it seems to be some issues with ADB, so please wait until i got my Guide ready

just to be sure:
you used "fastboot flash boot recovery-clockwork-6.0.3.0-m7.img" and it worked?
I don't want to mess up my phone, because I can't backup my current boot.img...
hello, I hope you manage to help me.
yesterday I was updating the rom of my m7, I had revolution hd 6 and I was updating to 6.1.
Now the phone goes into bootloop, if you try to enter the bootloader enters correctly, but then if I try to get into recovery after loading screen appears dark of recovery for a while (less than a second) and then restart the white screen htc that says "entering into recovery" and loops as well ..
the most logical solution that I've come up with is to reinstall the original ROM or via fastboot .. but I can not find file or driving ..
ps I'm new to htc, samsung android coming from \ sony \ motorola
thanks in advance!
Did you try to install recovery once again?
Now do this commands:
fastboot erase cache
fastboot flash recovery recovery name.img
fastboot erase cache
Go to recovery and install your Rom

Hey!
Please try this:
- Download and start the All-In-One Toolkit http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183942
- Plug in the USB cable
- On your device enter the bootloader
- Enter Fastboot
- In the toolkit choose "Erase Cache" below "Commands"
Now you should be able to enter the recovery again. There you can reinstall the ROM or restore a backup. At least this worked for me.
Regards

Since the device is S-ON, you have to flash boot.img manually via fastboot (except ROMs like TrickDroid, which has a script inside to flash boot.img from Recovery), otherwise it will stuck in bootloop.
For Recovery-Problems always fastboot erase cache is good, u should use it everytime after flashing recovery.img/boot.img.
LG, Helmut
now.. i've tryed to reinstall rom.. into install the setup stop at 30%, restart phone with sound down+power, now phone boot fine..
mmm this isn't good..
now with titanium do a backup and after go to full wipe...

Go into fastboot and command
fastboot erase cache
Then try accessing recovery again...
Edit: or if you're using the toolkit, I think that has an option to erase cache if you can't get the command to work

Is there any way to restore a nandroid backup through fastboot or adb? i.e. without installing CWM
You can boot to cwm without installing it. But I can't remember the steps offhand
Interesting, bro! One of my fri also need to flash a zip without root or cwm recovery. In fact these 2 things r the reason for requiring the mentioned method in this post. He is using galaxy r n stuck in android 4.0.4.
Bump, anyone?
I tried to boot twrp through adb and it just reboot the phone..you just need to make a stock nandroid and download recovery.img for your version

With an unlocked bootloader you can in fastboot mode issue :
fastboot boot name_of_recovery.img
Without flashing it. Works nicely.

First time trying to root, I have an htc one. I got it unlocked and I've done everything correctly, but it still won't boot into recovery mode. I flashed the image file from twrp and i tried another one from cwm but neither is working, so my next idea is to clear my cache through adb but i'm not sure how to do that. can someone guide me?

Put the phone in fastboot mode and then run, on your computer:
fastboot erase cache
Sure you grabbed the correct twrp and flashed correct? Fastboot flash recovery blah.zip ?
When booted go to settings and power. Makes sure fastboot is not selected.

Are you picking recovery from your bootloader? If it is on fastboot you have to pick bootloader then recovery. Or if phone is booted adb reboot recovery.
