It's like two days that the headset media volume is very low. I tried to edit the eq, but nothing changed. Tried to replace my headset with another, nothing changed.
I'm running aokp smft rom, my headset are ok (on my mp3 work).
The volume is too low that an working airplane's engine is more quiet than a sleeping cat.
What can I do?
EDIT: with my brother's headset (lg l3 headset) I can listen to music fine. I haven't tried others headsets because I haven't (I have just mine and another one which is very old).
Anyway, my headset works fine on my mp3 but not on my phone

So I have my hero here, and it doesn't play any sound at all. And it just vibrates. The sound comes out of the earphones, but when I unplug it and play music or turn up my ringtone volume, it's like I don't have a speaker at all,

ringtone volume is different try the media volume.
i had same problem, took it too sprint and replaced my speakers.
Would appreciate help in finding a way of increasing the sound from the phone speaker. The sound from my Raider 4G speaker is very low. Even when volume is set at it's highest the sound from the speaker is mediocre at best. As a result I only play music or other media using the htc headphones only. Thanks.
I do have a solution that boosts the volume, it's an app and its called: Volume+ I tried the free version and noticed nothing, then got the paid version and noticed a mild difference. I'm not trying to sell the app as I've got nothing to do with the dev, just saying that it worked for me btw, I'm on a HTC velocity with Kozmikkernal and rooted ICS (stable, fast holiday ICS)
EDIT:
Oops, sorry, the Rom that I'm on has Dolby in it, I think I turned that on when I got Volume+, just played around with Volume+ settings, and turned it off and on and didn't notice anything (whilst Dolby was turned off..) So to answer your question, the Dolby apk that came with the Rom will increase the speaker volume and headphones (there are those two options)

Ive tried searching the forums and google and cant really find a similiar problem. When I plugged a headset in my music plays horrible and my in call volume is garbage.
If i go into settings and sound then volume there are 3 options. media, ringtones, and alarms. ringtone and alarms blow my ears out via the headset so i know it works but the media one is really low. It's as if something isn't turning on properly during calls. like its not in stereo.
im using android revolution 3.0.1 and it worked prior to this. im open to suggestions. ive tried DSP manager, and all my volumes are jacked. what am i missing to get this to work.

Still no luck. I've even gone back to an old back up from long before any of this happened and that back up has the same issue.

I have problem with headset. This the one that comes with the phone. I didn't notice that, but yesterday when I was riding on the bike, my wife called me. I couldn't answer the phone with the button on the headset. Then I've checked several things. I can't stop or start the music with this button as well. I've tried HTC headset, and the same happening. But I can change volume using HTC headset. I've stoped the music once, but couldnt start it again. What to do?
Edit: I've tried another HTC and headset that came with "S II". "S II" works well. So the problem must be with the plug size. Is there any easy way to fix that?
I use SE MW600 and they work flawless answering and audio quality is awesome

Hi!
I've been using a bluetooth headset and speakers since I got my XPX, but I recently started using a wired headset at work because the battery in the bluetooth one didn't last all day. I've noticed that whenever I wake the screen, either by double-tapping or using the power button, the playback skips forward by one or two seconds. This happens no matter what audio player I use (I've checked Spotify, Poweramp and Pocket Casts) and only when using a wired headset. Bluetooth and phone speakers are unaffected.
I haven't had the chance to try other headsets with this phone, but this headset didn't cause this to happen on my old phone (Z3C). Since it only happens when I wake the screen, I kind of doubt it's the headset anyway.
Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it?
Sorry to bump my old thread, but I 'd forgot I posted it earlier. I noticed the problem again today and was about to post about the problem again.
Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?
