unlocking the bootloader will wipe the device, you should have read the disclaimer on the HTCDev website and backed up the files before unlocking

Hi..
I want to do unlock bootloader process..I'm already made TA Backup and currently on Monxdified Rom (4.3)..
1. Can I do unlock with this custom rom or should I flash the stock 4.3 first before do the unlocking process?
2. SD Card will be wipe or not?
Thanks..
I read somewhere when you Unlocking Bootloader something will be wiped but i think is not the SD. Anyway just read carefully on Sony webside where you have to go to unlock the bootloader. There will be all explained.

Hi,
i want to unlock my bootloader, so i made a backup with Devshafts TA Backup v9.10. The backup is a 112kb big zip file and 2mb big, when i uncompress it, i made a dry run to test it, everything seems ok.
To unlock my bootloader i must send my IMEI nr. to Sony.
My Question is, do they notice that i unlocked my XSP, even after relocking it with the TA Backup, by my IMEI nr that they have?
That would mean my warranty is voided even if i relock it?
Or am i wrong at some point?
Thank you for your help!
Well you lost your warranty if you Unlock your bootloader but I've never heard or read somewere that Sony (or the repair places) are using some kind of Database to check which IMEI has been used to get an Unlock Code.
If you relock the bootloader and restore the TA partition there is no evidence of any unlock.

No Backup of the TA partition?
Well thats not smart. Why is no one reading the tutorials?
First lines of the tutorial from Doomlord:
this is the official way to unlock bootloader
if you want to keep ur DRM keys, first root device and then check this out
Warning!
This procedure will wipe the /data partition of your phone, so you will loose all ur stored data, settings. INTERNAL SDCARD will BE WIPED!!!
For Xperia™ devices released 2013 or later (for example Xperia™ Z and Xperia™ ZL), the SD card of your device will be formatted and you will lose all content (for example photos, music, videos) when you unlock the boot loader.
DRM keys WILL be lost forever

older Xperia devices sometimes got issues after unlock of bootloader (BRICK after FOTA update) - you have been warned

I think it may be only possible if you are S-OFF. This post has info on the HTC One M7/M8, which may be similar to our phones.
That is mail me guys that can unlock our device and s-off it? but i dont trust them
Attached in this mail is your unlock bootloader key file. To use this file to unlock your device, simply follow the remaining instructions on the website to complete the process and successfully unlock your bootloader.
Please remember that unlocking your bootloader may void all or parts of your warranty and your device may not function as intended by HTC. Unlocking the bootloader is for development purposes only.
* Click here to continue the bootloader unlocking process.
The bootloader unlock key file can only be applied to the device with which you generated the token.
Please do not reply to this email which is auto-sent by server.
If you need to contact us with questions please click here.
Sincerely,
HTC

I'm lost. You went on htcdev.com to unlock your device and they sent you that email and you don't trust them? That is a credible site if that is where you went to do that. If you did go to htcdev.com, I haven't seen a way to S-OFF the device on there unless you can direct me to it. The only way I know about is Sunshine.

Long time ago i saw a thread that a user was telling that he wasn't able to unlock the bootloader when he has using certain ftf files. It is pretty strange actually.
Try to downgrade your phone, maybe installing kk and try again mate.
Maybe this will help if you already don't know it. Take a look here. Way old that thread but maybe still guilty.

Post #2 says you have to be on stock kernel to relock your bootloader.

unlock the bootloader, flash a custom recovery then flash the latest supersu.zip. As simple as that
htcdev.com/bootloader
https://dl.twrp.me/m7/

Its the same procedure to unlock a locked or re-locked bootloader. The only difference between locked and relocked is that relocked mean your phone was unlocked at least once then locked back using the "fastboot oem lock" command. So go ahead and follow the instructions from htcdev.com/bootloader (submit your token then wait for your unlock code and flash it).

As @alray said, unlock procedure is the same for "locked" and "relocked". That means that your files WILL be erased when you unlock your bootloader, so backup everything you don't want to loose
