I'm trying to use the DDMS tool on Linux, and I need the vendor ID for the Droid X. Anyone have any luck figuring out what it is?
have you tried reading the output of "lsusb -vvv" while the device is plugged in?

This thread says it's just supposed to work on mac.
I have 'USB debugging' enabled.
I can see virtual devices if I create and start one from eclipse in the device list. But no Galaxy Tab.
On Mac OS X 10.5.6
Wanted to do some Galaxy Tab development, but if this doesn't work I guess I wont. :/
Command I used: ./adb devices
Result:
List of devices attached
I think it was because the device was asleep. Works now.
adb stopped working after upping to gingerbread
I can't get adb to see my galaxy tab (7/sprint) after upgrading to gingerbread.
Anyone know what happened?
I've searched other threads but am still unable to get clarification on this.
I just downloaded the SDK and after manually installing device drivers, am unable to see the device serial number after the adb devices command.
In the CMD prompt I type and see:
c:\AndroidSDK\tools\adb devices
List of devices attached
and no serial number
Is this still a driver issue? Whats the best way to resolve this?
Thanks
So I am trying to do some Nook HD development in Linux and can't get adb to work.
First I tried listing devices in ADB and got no result. Continued further to find out that when I use lsusb command it is in fact connected. It does work on Wireless though.

Install Motorola Device Manager. It has the Motorola ADB driver.
You have USB debugging enabled right?
