I have a question
I'm using the PIN lock Xperia T.
Phone blocked me when I call someone and the line is busy. :crying:
Every time I have to write the code. nothing on the menu is not
You can somehow remove the software original 9.1.A.1.141

You mean the pin code mate of the sim, or of the unlock screen?
If you mean the one from the sim, go: Settings->Security-> Set up Sim card lock.
If you mean lockscreen's pin, go Settings->Security->Screen lock-> Here you can choose the one that you like more.

Hi guys. I have a problem a bit similar to the ones I read earlier but my problem is that I entered my PIN code and phone didn't recognize it. Now I should have an option to enter PUK code and everything would be fine, but I don't have that option. My screen says: "Take a look at the manual or contact with your service provider" (something like this, my phone language is Polish so I may translate something not correctly). I did take a look at the manual but there was nothing that could solve my problem so I'm asking you, members of xda community, is there any way to solve this problem without taking phone to my GSM provider?
If you are using custom rom try full wipe maybe it would hep
Sent from my X8 using XDA App
It didn't work, but it turn my phone language into english so I can write what it says:
"SIM card is PUK-locked."
"Please see the User Guide or contact Customer Care."
If you inputted a incorrect PIN for too many times the SIM card will lock up and require the PUK to reset the PIN failure counter - that much the phone is actually doing right.
If you don't have a possibility to enter the PUK then all you can do is to see a service point of your mobile operator to have the SIM card resetted.
There's pretty much nothing you can do as that's a security function of the GSM card and not the phone or the OS.
EDIT: Any chance entering **05*<PUK Code>*# or **05*<PUK Code>*<New PIN>*<New PIN confirm># works? (in case you can get to the dialer)
I can get to the dialer, but I didn't know that I can enter PUK there, I'll give it a try and write either it worked or not.
EDIT:

The second method worked! Thanks! When I use this first method it says that is either connection problem or MMI code is invalid.
Hey guys,
Was trying to extract my unlock code from block device mmcblk0p6. I've rooted my phone and have ssh, busybox but when I check that block nothing makes sense. So my question is is that block now encrypted or something ? Or should I be looking elsewhere for UN_lock_code ?
Cheers.

If its anything like the Xperia P then finding that unlock code is like impossible or so i've heard...Contact your carrier maybe? they might unlock it for like £15
True, I have never heard of any free way to sim unlock apart from speaking VERY nicely to your carrier and they are unlikely to do it for free...
Just a heads up, if you took your phone out on contract with O2 (UK) they will give you the unlock code for free, providing you are still in contract.

Yeah, with O2 in the UK it is free of charge. I have requested a SIM unlock code with my previous phone - an arc - which took 3 days for them to respond. With my Xperia T they took a week to respond and I got my unlock code last week.
A word of caution, you only get 5 attempts to enter a wrong unlock code so don't **** around and try random numbers like 0000 or something like that. After that, the phone is SIM locked permanently and you're screwed. With previous phones you could unlock the bootloader, using the SETOOL, which also wipes the simlock but with the Xperia T I dont think you can do the SETOOL thing no more...
Have a look here: http://service.o2.co.uk/IQ/SRVS/CGI...ef(User):str(Mobile),CASE=ref(unlockmymobile)
...or go directly here: https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help?qid=1&q1=2&route=unlocking&case=Handset Unlocking Form
The email you then receive looks like this:
Dear O2 Customer,
Thank you for your email.
The code you require for IMEI No - 123456789012345 is as follows:-
1234567890123456
For Unlatching Sony Ericsson Devices;
- Power on device with a non O2 UK SIM card
- The device shows: "SIM network unlock PIN"
- Enter the unlock code (NCK) for the network lock and press "Unlock"
- Device will pop up a message "Network unlock successful"
Kind Regards

How can i hack my Sony Xperia LT30p.
It have a Simlock from German o2
The phone was restart when i turn the simcard in the phone.
The phone does not recognize simcard
It would always abschlaten after 15 minutes
The phone is rooted and the bootloader is now unlocked also
Were can help me?
in order to sim unlock you wil have to use a paid for service. You can google it.
I never seen a method to sim unlock an xperia device on xda forum.
Or you can ask your carrier to unlock it, but they may want a payment or just say no anyway.
How am I supposed to then enter a pin, if not even more then the phone asks.
If I is the inlay, the phone simcard simcard inserted the message and restarts.
When it is restarted is not even a message or possibility to enter any pin

Hi there.
I hope you solved your problem. I had the same one. After all rooting it and unlocking all that can be unlocked, when i turn it on, i get the message: "Your phone may have been damage during transportation"="votre téléphone a peut être été endomagé durant le transport" and "your phone will power off in 15 minutes"="Votre téléphone s'éteindra dans 15 minutes".
My phone was Lock free. The problem as i found it was in the sim tray/flex. The little pins in contact with the sim card did't touch it. So there was no sim card recognition. Using a needle i pushed one pin (the one that was flattened) from under the middle it while holding it from the end above to get it to bend enough to touch the sim card but not so far to break it. I don't know if i explained my self well but try to make it look like a good pin on a working phone
Any way, you should try *#*#7378423#*#* to get Sim lock status in the menu: Service info -> SimLock.
It worked.
PS: If any one has the same pb with SIM card not being detected (and no other locks) please respond to this thread with the message about the phone shutting down in 15minutes in your own language so people can find it via search. I hope this can help some people out there as i read about many cases (used or new phone).
How many Pins how are you in the front?

Was your old sim card on a different network from where you got this phone from? If so speak to your carrier
This is the code you need to input when you stick a sim in a new phone. Some sims have this code some dont. You can add one or change the code as you wish. The existing code will either be something you set, or something the operator set on the sim. Have a loom at the operator docs. Sometimes these are defaulted to 1234 or 0000. Dont enter it wrong too many times or you'll lock the sim. You need the PUK code to unlock a sim for which the wrong sim pin has been entered too many times.
Other poss is that the Z1 is not sim free and is thus asking for an unlock code to allow you to use s sim from another network. There's a thread on here somewhere regarding what to type into the dialer to get to the service menu. The service menu will tell you whats locked.

Hello,
I bought a new sim card with a new plan. it came with enabled 0000 pin code.
The problem is my P10 is not showing the message at start-up asking me for the pin code.. and i couldn't get network. I'm stuck at ''emergency calls only''.
Anyone has an idea about this problem ?
PS: i don't have any other devises on which i can delete the pin code.

I tried and it does not work.. it's like the device is not reading the SIM at all. when i try to set a sim lock (i know from my operator that it's already locked on 0000) it just said wrong code, remaining attempts: 3.

(If you have Dual SIM model) have you tried in both slots
Also, are you sure that the phone is unlocked for that operator
I doubt, if you would even remove lock for that SIM on another phone, that P10 would still show Emergency calls only

Yes, it's a dual sim model, i did try in both slots.. same result for the new sim with the preset PIN.. but i can set a code for the second sim (does not have a pin code).
The phone is unlocked for all operators.. it's just that it does not ask for pin code at start-up.. and acts like it didn't read pin locked sim cards at all.. it's not the first time i find myself searching for another device to delete the pin code.
