I am sorry that you got offfended. Wait a minute, no I'm not. I see that you have edited your post above. Good because it made absolutely no sense the way you first wrote it. It seemed to be something that was written by a 10 year old. Your spelling and grammar are horrible. Just look at the post I quoted. "did you ever had a ...." -
I will rewrite it for you.
"Have you ever bricked your Breeze and then successfully repaired your device. If so, please share your experience and step by step instructions taken to fix your device in this thread to help those less cerebrally gifted like myself to fix our own devices, because we just don't have a clue."
Is this clear for you?
I have taken the liberty to check out your posting behaviour. You seem to have been having problems for quite some time but have not gotten a straight answer and for that I am sorry for you. I cannot help you because:
1. I do not own a Breeze
2. I don't have much experience with flashing custom ROM's and have never Bricked my device, (Because I am really careful and do lots and lots of reading in these forums to learn everything I need to learn before doing anything.)
When I responded to your post, I was only trying to help you by getting you to be more clear with what your problem was and what you wanted out of this thread. It really made absolutely no sense the way you had orriginally written it. With this attitude you have - you might find it difficult to get anyone to help you.
Good bye... Good luck. I hope you get what you are looking for

Have you read this thread - May be helpful. I have not read it fully; however, noticed that you have not posted in it.

If you have any questions about the process described, may I suggest in addition to posting in the thread itself, send a private message to jerpelea as he created this thread and Guide. You will have to try to provide as much information as possible to him / her - What you did? how you did it? etc... What rom you were trying to flash. Answer any questions he asks and don't get frustrated with him / her if it takes time for him / her to figure out what happened to your device. You have to remember that you did this to your device / not anyone else and you are the one with the device in front of you. Be patient - Listen to their advice, follow their instructions - answer their questions - don't give up and start looking for someone else to help you out because you will just annoy people and will have to start all over again explaining your situation. If you want your device fixed then you need to listen up and stop being so aggressive - it puts people off and pushes them away. I know that it is frustrating, but look - your tactics have not been working so far. I have seen in several threads that there were some people trying to help you but you just disappeared from that thread before they could finish. You had failed to answer some peoples questions . Remember, they need to know what is what before giving you direction because the last thing they want to do is rush you into doing something that might actualy permanently brick your device. Also remember that it will not be a quick fix - May take several days / weeks as most people here have lives outside of this forum. USE Private messaging though once you have found someone who will take the time to guide you. If you try to rush it - you might truely end up with a paper weight
There is also a lot of information in the WIKI here. I strongly urge you to read all of this to learn everything there is to learn about your device. It will not only possibly lead to helping you figure out how to solve your problem, but also help you to understand what others are asking you with regards to your device.

sorry for my week english....
despite i didn't post in both, but i tried what is mentioned in these 2 posts, and i didn't succed to fix my imate spjas...
desperate... do i have to throw down my device????
is their a way to fix it, is their for exampl a no vender id RUU or something like i can use it to repair either my bootloader and update any rom i want....
asking for you, and all who has enough experience in building a rom, or whatever to find a way a universal way to repair our devices....
thank you, and thx for all who can help, and post a solution....
I am sorry that I cannot help you, I just don't know about your device or ROM upgrading. You seem to be very desperate and let your emotions get the best of you in your posts. This with the language barrier can make it very difficult. I really hope that someone here who is capable of helping you can be patient enough with you to help you. You have to remember to be patient to with them though or they will just walk away and leave you with a device that doesn't work.
If no one here can help you, what about taking your device in for service. I don't know how long you have had your device for (Warranty) (Upgrade to a new device that works)
Good luck

Hi xda,
i am in a serious problem with this EFS , i was using congition H3 rom and i decided to goto Batista70 FOXHOUND EDITION 2.4. from there my problem started, my gameloft games were not working like 9mm and nova 2, so i had to reflash twice, on the second reflash the games started working but i lost network, my product code, my mac id for wifi and bluetooth, i got the generic IMEI-004999010640000, i was never aware of EFS and its use coz its never mentioned in the ROM sectioned(i think that should be the first thing custom ROM pages should have in big red words that back up ur EFS coz it Important)
Anyways the batista had backed up my EFS but i deleted as i was not aware how important it is-genius me, i dont have any EFS back up with me and i have tried all the forum in xda and on the internet but failed to fix it, I am from INDIA and out of 4 prepaid carrier one is working i dont how but its working with the fake IMEI but the other 3 are getting rejected-no network, i have flashed back to first firmware phone came with i.e-I9100XWKE8, service centre in mumbai are asking for lot of money to repair it in which i can buy another phone, IS THERE A MESSIAH out there who can help me as i have always looked up XDA for solution and has worked for me. This is my sincere request and i am ready to donate both xda and the person who helps me $20 each as i understand its a hard job to do and it require skils. please help me out with this. Thank you
I can't help you (assuming you have tried deleting nv_data.bin & nv_data.bin.md5 and rebooted) but I can tell you why it still works and thats because it's not a fake IMEI but a generic one.

Do a simple search in the sgs2 forum. IMEI as keyword should show you several threads wich possible solutions. Read, try and ask again if nothing helped.
EFS fixed
hi XDA,
I knew there was genius out there who can resolve it and i am really thankful to god that i got in touch with ODIA because of Northern Loop post the ODIA is a Super Dev http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103357. He really fixed it and I did not had any backup, I WILL REPEAT I DID NOT HAD ANY BACK UPS AND EFS WAS MESSED UP. Service centre just sucks as they don't have any knowledge, I have attached the proof that Odia has fixed it and the guy is EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL in his work. I always believed that the issue can be fixed as there is nothing like cannot be fixed in mobile phone, bricked phones can work again why not corrupt EFS can be fixed?, ODIA proved me right and im sorry for those who dont believe like segunmichaelolu
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1332125, U need to trust developers they go through a lot of hardwork even sometimes working through out the night to find a solution for one of the most complicate EFS files. Thank ODIA and THANKS XDA
P.S-IF U APPRECIATE HARD AND SMART WORK I DON'T THINK ANYONE SHOULD HAVE PROBLEM PAYING SOMEONE WHEN THE ISSUE CAN BE FIXED. THE PERSON HAS NOT LEARNED THE ART FOR FREE OR GOD TAUGHT HIM HOW TO FIX IT
I need help too fixing my EFS
I don't have a EFS backup either, It does not show the IMEI, No service even when a simcard is inserted and indicates unknown Baseband in the phone info section. I'm willing to pay $20 for a foolproof solution that will permanently fix My SGS2 I9100, Restore it's IMEI to the Origianl one and have it working normal again. So if bryanfuryin22 Says Odia performed a genius miracle for him I believe He can do the same for Me
*Fingers Crossed* Odia tell me you can fix my problem?

The chances of Odia seeing this post are pretty much zero, since he has never participated in this thread.
Send him a (polite) PM, and wait patiently for an answer.

Since Odia isn't receiving PMs at the moment, and MIGHT have a notification set to alert him when he is mentioned, I'm posting here instead - similar "lost" IMEI problem on a Captivate (due to rooting sloppily 2 years ago when I was younger and braver), now gun shy about fixing it on my own after reading all of the 9-step guide thread. If Odia sees this and is willing to assist, a PM would be welcome.
I think you'll find Odia hasn't done this sort of thing for a very long time due to being overwhelmed by n00bs who didn't take EFS backups. Take it to a local mobile repair shop now rather than putting yourself through whatever period of hopeful anticipation only to have that hope dashed (I'm just being honest with you here).
Edit - Also, as your device has it's own dedicated fora, you're not even allowed to post here. I'm asking mods to move your post back where it belongs (my point about Odia no longer doing this stands though).

This thread is a year old, i would suggest making a new one or looking for a more resent next time.
Now that being said, you can recover you IMEI by flashing stock kk4 with Odin (which can be found in the stickies). Of you're already on gb or up, use the non-bootloaders version.

I don't exactly get your post.. You could've been useful instead of being "honest" (harsh).

Being honest with people is about them having a working phone again in the shortest possible period of time rather than faffing around with snake oil miracle cures & all kinds of ridiculous promises in threads on here which simply don't work.
But eh, if you want to build the OP's hopes up with a bunch of stuff that has no hope of working only to have the realisation that the fix I mentioned in my PP is the only way dawn on the OP in a week/two weeks/whatever & have them without a working phone for that period, knock yourself out.

His (the guy i quoted) issue is very well recoverable and I'm here to help him do so, I'm not sure what your point is. It's not like I'm letting him rot for weeks.. I gave him the solution right away.
Flashing stock kk4 does restore your IMEI (95% of the time).

Unfortunately there is no simple answer. There seems to be a different fix for different Captivates. Some people claim different ROMs have fixed their GPS while others didn't see a change. Some use different kernels and claim a fix and others did not see a change. Some tried everything and ended up returning their phone and claim the new one was fixed.
It seems that for every successful fix post there are just as many unsuccessful fix posts. The best advice anyone can give you is to continue to look at the posts where people claim a fix and try it yourself. There are a lot of different methods out there. If nothing seems to work and you've bought your phone within the last year - bring your phone back and demand a replacement. No one should have to settle with hardware that isn't working entirely as advertised.
I wish we had a better answer than this. This forum has some incredible users who experiment on their phones not knowing what will happen in the hope it will help others. Take advantage of their notes but remember not everything will work.
Good luck and I hope you find an answer.

I've spent an entire week trying to learn and understand. I am not posting this without considerablr effort. I have read many, many comments about how this has been addressed and a writer hoped to offer definitive explanations. It seemed unclear to another and me . I apologize. I am heartbroken about photos accidentally deleted.
I inderstand to use photo recovery software I must root my verizon moto x 4.4.4. I read you cannot do it, then that you can. I have read about unlocking the boatloader, but haven't. I tried pie root but was told it did not recognize my device
I have fixed cars, toilets and drywall the hard way. I am not incapable of figuring stuff out or doing research, but I am very fruatrated with jargon and technical speak and seemingly contradictory sites and threads. Can someone, anyone please tell me of I can do a damn thing about my accidentally deleted photos? Please? Has ANYONE done this? I have called geeksquad. Is there ANYONE that can fix this?
This is it my final remarks waisting my Time in a Lg forum
Lg bridge tool Is not a brick fix tool as suggested It needs a device to be in MTP modeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!
Update error recovery to fix a brick is untrue anyone who said they had a locked boot loader and only download mode and fixed there g4 with update error recovery has no idea that there phone was in that exact state !
Lg up junk
Lg bridge junk
Lg flash tool used to be good but it was thrown out for junk
I'm going to list 3 photos proving all this and that drivers are connected
Nothing but a run around with Posts and Pm's So sick of this run around especially from recognized devs who are tied to being the creators of these flash tools and have the simple answer to my dilemma but wont give it ....and I'll likely get the answer from a random XDA member and no its not a RMA !

I'm not surprised no one has really attempted to help you. You are very demanding, it's no one's job here to be your personal help desk.
All your issues are pointing to driver problems, but you seem to enjoy being combative instead of fixing the problem. I had the same exact problem as you with a friend's G4. The post linked in your other thread is what I followed. Perhaps you should stick with stock ROMS and not flash anything if you are unable to troubleshoot problems.
Okay,in every phone and every thread, it simply states and i quote "i am not responsible if you brick your device and choose to flash things on your phone,do at your own risk" so..whats the issue here? Your mad and blaming other devs because they cant fix what you did to your phone? Your mad because the LG tool cant fix what you did to your own phone? Tough luck bud,you chose to tamper with it so you have nobody to blame but yourself.
And i suggest to the forum moderator to please close this thread as you are posting multiple threads of the same topic.

I was kind in the beginning about it . And I've contributed on multiple device threads . So im not butt hurt about any of it .I'm not like the 50% of Mr know it alls on here .If I have a issue I'm willing to talk about it . Its about the fact that people can help people over the stupidest issues ,but they can't on a subject matter of importance. Just repetitive pointers about drivers drivers drivers .And the tough guy bashing over the screen I was waiting for that at some point . Phases me little to none seen it for years .
