[Q] Which s2w kernel works with 4.3 and sense(not G.E) - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

i just installed the orio rom and was trying to find a kernel with s2w and oc that works with the sense version of 4.3

Have you tried ElementalX and/or TeamSeven kernel?

Latest beta Elemental X works with Sense 4.3

I'm using Elemental X latest beta works great

And you're definitely running 4.3 sense? There's no reports in that thread of it working with this.

Hi,
As far as I know there is not a version of ElementalX kernel compatible with Android 4.3 for Sense, the last version is with the latest kernel source code from HTC for Android 4.2.2 posted by tiny4579. I don't see any beta compatible with Android 4.3 for Sense.
Actually, only tbalden made a kernel compatible with Android 4.3 for Sense, latest beta here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45204190&postcount=1650, with all the features included like in the kernel for Android 4.2.2 for Sense (S2W,etc...).

The ICS kernel source has not been released yet for the IncS, so the only choice you currently have is what is in the ARHD zip.
No other option except the stock kernel at present.
Go bug HTC and tell them to release the ICS kernel source already.

Bulletproof kernal is also another option...jus flashed it and seems to be running flawlessly
Just be aware that bluetooth for calls doesn't work on any custom kernel. thank htc for that

The kernels listed above will work. But you may lose the back and home sensitivity increase that came with the .10 base.

i was using the same ROM before. its 4.1.2.
about the music enhancements, download this app- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jsf.cmprojects.cyanogenmodappinstaller&hl=en
and install dsp manager using this app. then reboot to recovery and wipe dalvik cache. dsp manager should work then.

if you are using a GPE or SENSE rom, then use a GPE or SENSE compatible kernel that match your version.
