Hey, i have an htc one sim locked to Bell, rooted, s-off, supercid, running android rev rom 13.3. When i insert a different sim card it doesnt prompt me to enter sim unlock code. Has anyone seen this or have a solution? Thanks.
Just flash stock RUU i.e. stock rom.. it will ask for unlock code then

Hi Everyone,
Got my HTC one from 3 yesterday.
I have paid for a sim unlock code, which worked (tried a Virgin sim in and it worked) So was wondering how to install a .exe or get the update on the phone now.
My CID says H3G_001 still, but as I say the sim unlock has worked.
So basically is there a way of installing the 4.2.2 update without changing the CID or turning the S-Off?
Thanks in advance.

No, all a sim-unlock does is allow you to use the phone with any carrier, however you are still locked down to the original carrier that the phone shipped with in regards to updates.

Hello i have an htc one m7 that was initially locked to orange, i had it unlocked using a card that was inserted to flash some code.
For this card to be able to flash the code.. the htc was rooted and had S-off.
After the card flash that code i could use any sim in my htc one
Now there is a system update available.
My question is if i update will i lose my unlock, brick my phone ?
What do you guys recommend that i should do ?
Anybody ??
Hello people.
I have been working for hours for this, based (probably) on my critical mistake.
My HTC 510 is a Telus (Canada) carrier version and the stock rom is slow. I flashed nonsense1.03 rom from this forum and it runs great. However when I proceed to unlock my cellphone from the current carrier Telus there's a great problem: The phone simply won't let me type in the 8 digit unlock code for SIM, at all. I try to flash stock rom back but the only thing I can do is to unlock the bootloader and flashing ends up with signature failure.
When I put in unauthotrized SIM card the phone did show up icon saying that the sim card is locked. But it won't let me type unlock code and there's no entry in this phone I could access the unlock pad. Any possible way to type in this unlock SIM code and end this nightmare?
Thank you all!

Hey guys i got a SFR (France) sim locked M7 running latest lollipop firmware. When i insert any sim other than Vodafone it reads it but doesn't register to the network neither asks me for an unlock code.
With a Vodafone sim i only have cell phone connection when i'm on 4G coverage. On any other band i only get data connection and i can't make or receive any calls or sms.
After searching around internet (xda the most) i found out that i can sim unlock with a config.dat file but only if i'm on earlier hboot as this method was patched by htc and trying it could render the phone unusable..
So i have 2 questions now:
1) Is it possible to downgrade to let's say 1.28.401.7 (as i already have this RUU) without bricking the phone? Or, in other words, is it possible to downgrade the phone to any firmware before kitkat?
2) If it ain't possible to downgrade is their any other way to sim unlock the phone??
Thanks in advance for any help..

Without bricking the phone? Are you sure for that?

If you have s-off, you can downgrade to any version you want safely by flashing a ruu.
sieempi sim-unlock should work fine, I think clsA also sim-unlocked one of his M7 using this method. Otherwise it looks like Sunshine s-off tool can also be used to sim-unlock since a recent update. Check changelog 3.1 and 3.1.1 here: http://theroot.ninja/download.html
Nice find bro.. I'll try sunshine right now and if it can't unlock I'll go for the other method.
Thanks a lot..
