BBM coming soon - Galaxy Tab 2 Themes and Apps

(News)
Have been waiting to see just how*BlackBerry Messenger*would look and act on our Android phone. The app has been in a*not-so-secret*but tightly controlled beta test for a while, but it looks pretty much the same as it does on a BlackBerry 10 device.
The app seems to have all the same basic features on Android as it does on BlackBerry, including NFC abilities. The layout and controls are different from what we're used to as Android users though, and that may mean some adjustment time.
BlackBerry has stated that they would have the Android and*iOS*versions out by the end of summer, so it's good to see they are close to the finish line.*

I'm a BlackBerry user too, I can say BBM it's very good and I waited for long time an Android version and finally it's here

i thinkt that original ICS isn't coming to OB. While LG says that it does.
but i just can't believe it, just a hunch..
guessing that android 5 will be more and better i think it's going to be to much for our OB's hardware.
Android 5 is comming waaaaaay to early

Well as per leaks I have seen so far...Google will be revealing nexus tab at Google IO and jellybean would be version 4.1 not 5.
I|0 is going to anounce it later this month, and yes, I think JB would be 4.1, kinda like Froyo was 2.2 and GB 2.3

[Q] Jelly Bean??

umm guys, now that jelly bean is out (galaxy nexus guys have it)
since its same base as ics, do you think it could be ported to our phone same as ics?
its a question, kindly do not post bad posts! ok?
thank you
Probably

IMO.
There is not even a GB good enough for all.
ICS is the biggest priority for some of devs. here.
Now I ask to you, do you think LG would apply JB for OPB?
i dont think so, maybe maybe not
i wish that they launch 4.1 instead of 4.0
but still, other phone manufacturers support devices with only two versions
lg is doing 3 versions...a fourth one could be done or could be too much to ask
i dont think as they have to sell new products

It wouldn't make any difference! Jelly Bean is based on ICS, the devs may be able to port it!
It has already been ported to HTC One X in less than 24 hours lol.
It would be like porting 2.3.7 even if 2.3.4 already exist for our Optimus Black.
that's what i was talking about
to lor fb toi?

Weps check PM!
Hope that LG will release in shortest time ICS, so JB port will be possible!

The best thing would be if LG just drops the idea of ICS and get on the Jelly Bean train
that's what i was talking about
but i dont think they'll do it as they have other phones to sell

Android 4.2

Hey man I am getting confused about 4.2 cuz first I hear it is going to be key lime pie and now I just read over at DROID LIFE about the SAMSUNG NEXUS 10 with picture's of the device running 4.2 saying that it's a modified version of jellybean what gives. It's nice looking though
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
So far their saying 4.2 is still JB....but who knows for sure yet. I just anxious to get it, no matter what's its called!
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
What gives is Jelly Bean just came out. ICS is still JUST rolling out to handsets. Do you think Google would tick off OEMs by calling a minor software revision Key Lime Pie (thus putting most manufacturers 2 updates behind)?
Or maybe it will be Key Lime Pie. Think maybe we should wait until the event and find out?

Yes they are probably right. As jelly bean is a modified version of ice cream sndwich. Just performance enhancements etc but no drastic changes to the ui.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Yeah that's pretty much what I see as well the article says that some of the enhancements will be done to the camera and short cuts to your settings and of course gmail also wifi but mostly it looks the same but here is to hoping

Maybe they should call it a brand new version "Key Lime Pie", maybe some of these manufacturer's should speed up their processes and get the updates out quicker. Although, half the issue is the carriers need to agree as well. We all see how fast the dev community can do it and these manufacturer's have WAY more resources and direct contact to Google.
Already a similar discussion about 4.2 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1954238

great rom
I was running your leaked 4.1 rom for S2 for ages, was so smooth and such great battery life. Jumped at the opportunity to try your s3 rom. So far its good, it's very responsive and not really laggy like some cut down roms are. Memory usage is great. Still testing battery life but so far seems normal. Love the theme, the one thing I would like is the narrower options in the settings screen (AOSP vs sammy settings).
One question = I got a missed call and this cool pop up appeared at the bottom of the screen with a few call back related options...what is this? Is this stock? I really love it, it's really handy!

Life was hectic
XXEMG4 will be up in a couple of days.
And I promise I will keep S3 supported till Samsung stops updating it.
