Though I don't own this phone!
But you can check as below
Go to settings ->storage and see if there is a storage mentioned about usb drive.

It does support otg but you need to use
usb otg helper free from play store.
You will need a file manager as well
This only works with stock kernel stock ROM,if you have modded either you will need to ask in those threads.

It works perfect with an OTG cable. Just tested it with an 1GB Usb-stick.

Since JB it should work on all devices.
You can also mount a mouse or gamepad.

Yes, it works
Yes, on Sony Xperia SP otg cables work very well.
With my own Sony Xperia SP, I have used 16 gb pendrive, very well.
Try adjusting cable properly in the port, it will work.
What is the best quality OTG cable for Xperia SP?

It is possible that these are cheap USB cables that are incompatible to USB 2.0 or something like that.
I have one of these cables

It does exactly what it is called You can connect your Galaxy S with an TV-out Cabel to an TV. After activating this option you are able to see your screen on a TV and play games, watch videos or whatever from your device on a TV...
You can use a nokia cable to get it working

Its to do with build prob.
Look in system for file called build prob
Open with text viewer and see if it says c5302.
It might be because you flashed a c5302 ROM instead of c5303.
I think you can change build prob with editor with out probs but best do a backup before you change anything.
To change build prob you need to be rooted.

But everything is C5303 on my build.prop.... Aside from build.prop, I think there is some other files that affect this...
Thanks for the tip btw..
Did you find a solution to this problem?
Thanks

Did not work, I am using the existenz rom 1.3.7
hi guys,
i am facing problem with MHL adapter. i tried to connect my galaxy note n7000 to sony bravia 3d tv via MHL but failed to do so. whenever i connect MHL to HDMI Cable to tv and to phone nothing happened and not even my phone or tv show any sign of connection or any notification regarding that. my phone not even show the battery charging sign. i also used 3d HDMI cable for the connection but nothing came out.... and when the vender (from whom i purchased the MHL) gave me the demo the same MHL was working fine with his HDMI cable and tv but the cable and tv he used were not 3D whereas i have a 3D tv. i dont understand why i am not able to connect the MHL adapter using 3D HDMI cable to my Sony Bravia 40HX750 3D tv with my Galaxy Note n7000. still struggling with that.... any reply in this regard will be appreciated.... thanx.
Did You connect a power supply to mhl?
