Google services, are services like google now, location services etc. Try to disable them restart your phone and see the stats again mate

Google Now and your location based apps won't work if you do this though. If you just want to reduce the wakelocks from Maps then go to Maps>Settings>Location Settings> Untick report from this device. This method everything still works except for Location History.
Alternately for folks that like to use latitude you can use the app Backitude, gives you granular settings for reporting.
Thanx guys. I don't use latitude, but now I disabled gnow and unticked settings in maps, so let's see what happens.

It is hard to tell by the screen shot, but could be that you had the screen on for a long time, or that your phone was spending energy to trying to connect to cell service?
Ok I'll post some neescreenshots in next few days.which screenshots should I post? Also should I leave power saver off?

Download GSAM battery monitor and post screens from it. It has a very detailed breakdown of where your juice is going.

Is there a app like Google maps that's does the same thing cause I want to be able to use mobile network location without it draining my battery
Sent from my HTCONE using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Try using Juice defender to make WiFi turn off when your screen is off. Also, if you're rooted you can download greenify from the market. All those little things drain battery fast.

If I turn Google location service on will my battery drain be worse?

I would agree. GSAM says 12 hours since last recharge and you are at 55% battery. I think that is pretty good.
When I turn on GPS or network location I get a wakelock from Google play services or Google "network location" I want to be able to use the features. When I turn on GPS I have to force close one of them or the GPS icon is on the whole time!!

Is your phone hooked up to Google now? Try looking at some of those features, I know for me it was pretty much running the entire time, even if you closed out of it. I mean, it constantly monitors where you are...Also, any type of weather app, widget etc does the same, in my experience.

My battery drains 6% every half hour. I've tried flashing two different Roms from a stock sense to CM11 but no avail. Plus it takes all day to get to a full charge when charging. Could my battery be bad or something I'm not noticing? #noob

When I'm on WiFi for any amount of time makes my battery drain fast with nothing else on (GPS,Bluetooth etc...). I have power saver, sleep mode abd WiFi optimization on if that makes a difference. Dropbox upload is off.

I think you're in the normal range. I have 6.2% an hour today with moderate (similar to yours) use.
I've been rocking my location services off unless I absolutely need them, thinking it was help the battery. But I was wrong this thing is just draining like crazy.

My google play services drain is at 9%. I guess it's normal because almost every app uses google play services.
Mine is around 7% always.

Android system is 16% here, but it depends how much you use the phone. Do you call often?

Try repairing your phone with Sony pc companion if possible. I hope that might fix it.

You don't use task managers in Android.
Just my point of view:

You don't need a task manager. The phone has enough ram and if you really must need a app to hibernate, look into using the greenify app.

I've just noticed particularly the Facebook app has really drained my battery if I let it run in the background

I can confirm these results. I uninstalled the app and just use mobile site. Try Greenify, it will work for this issue too.

I believe there is more to this than some of you are recognizing. I have a question. Go look in your battery menu and look at the apps using the most battery. Does it show each app keeping the mobile radio active? If so because i'm reading on reddit along with my personal experience. Google Play Store, Google Play Services, Facebook, Chrome, Play Music are doing that. No one seems to know why yet either. Tell me what you find out.

Well its pretty obvious for me. Ive never seen these apps really sot at the top other than google play services for a gps wakelock. But these apps are inconsistently at the top but when they are, they keep the mobile radio active for hours when screen on time might be a 1/4 of that.
Well then. Try app called Battery Doctor. It will let you see what's draining your battery and let you selectively close the ones you want to.
