[Q] repair for better battery duration Galaxy Ace - Galaxy Ace S5830 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi I have a Galaxy Ace with Touchwiz 5.0-V3.1 Revolutionized eh Sky_Walker and not state that the battery is consumed rather quickly, and I made some adjustment to yield processor 800MHz to 787MHz by downloading and I think it goes well.
Is there any way to make this ROM does not consume much battery

Ok, thanks for replying so fast :victory: and that's what I can find in the GooglePlay or is it a different APK?

It's a script that manages the app battery usage.

Mmm ok say that makes any APP function Optimise the battery or its operation is more specific ... And if so, how do I use? not want to spoil anything

Actually supercharger is a ram manager script. This will replace your default ram manager and will add a hard to kill launcher, to prevent launcher redraws. It's better if you read superchargers thread.

Android is good and intelligent OS, it doesn't need a task manager at all but for the sake of freeing ram, its provided..
Auto taskers cosume a lot of battery coz they use timers and schedules for satisfying the user settings so its no need to use it at all.. also if a process is killed too many times it MAY not work properly...experiment and see which gives more battery..
Ok tnx

cm9 problem

how to increase battery life in cm9.
& how can i fix deep sleep.
plz help.
thanks in advance
Who knows....contact Maclaw.
He doesn't fix it so there is nothing you can do.

I guess it is a basic glitch of battery in CM9 Base itself. Devs are not to be blamed. Try to use something like droid wall to monitor apps which basically give a trick to you everyday and access net from your phone. If possible also try to use batteryextender xda edition from the XDA forums.
Lets see if these help your battery save.

No. I don't think so. CM9 for other devices do not have this bug.

For CM9, Just Flash OOM Priority Changer for battery life. Not that much effect though...
And, flash adrenaline engine for deep sleep
I don't really know if they work. but that's what some users say.

OOM Priority Changer doesn't have anything to do with battery. I think its for better Multitasking or switching apps.

if you want it to have lesser lag try adding some tweaks then OC. but that will cost you battery.
so for me performace = battery.
if you want longer battery life you can't have that performance.
Search Android development for scripts and tweaks.
You can find one in my signature.
Maybe some scripts will work,But battery is a big problem.

Flash a Kernel which have a battery extender then go to setting->Leistung(Excuse me but I dont know what Leistung is in english)->CPU Settings->Max. CPU Frequenzy to 825 MGhz.Because of the Battery extender it won't take tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
much battery life.

Hi mayhem
I believe that good battery life and no lags at the same time, perhaps the samsung stock rom keep it simple
Custom rom's are recommended when you want more than that
Download ds battery saver from play store for battery.

[Q] how to improve performance in 4.2

hi dev
I am using cm10.1 rc2 but it has alot of lag. Any way to improve it? ??
Replace your ace processor amd gpu buy an S4 dissemble is octa core and gpu and glue it on ace it will be so much faster
Just kidding
Dont fill up system and data
Try ram management script's
U can try using swap if u have a fast sdcard
Overlock it a bit and change governor smartassv2 always got me on the good away
Use lite browsers and launchers
Thats all u can do

Juice defender don't boost your performance and nofrills is USELESS in CM roms because they can set de frequencies without 3er party apps... cm roms have in-built a system to OC/UV CPU frequencies... installing apps you only get more lag because they'll increase your ram consumption, the best way to reduce lag is bareboning the rom, kill useless process and using some scripts could help too
I'm damn sure No-frills increases performance but increases battery usage as well, so for this use juice defender. Both of them are just ~3mb (combined) so need to mumbo jumbo for free space... lol

Use greenify, and select all those apps that remain open, such as facebook, viber ...

Please listen to me, in your cm7/9/10.1.0 rom go to settings> dev options and set the frequencies that you want!!! forget to use 3er party apps to control CPU speed!!!!

Chage the kernel and you'll get OC to 902Mhz (available 998Mhz in CM builts) but I think using 800Mhz with SmartassV2 governor it's enough. Even you can use scripts as Fly-on Mod or Adrenaline Engine to boost your performance experience
About ram, you CAN'T increase RAM amount you only can use swap partition but in my opinion it's not necessary to increase performance. And it's dangerous to your sdcard's life
Thanks dude...

My kernel: 2.6.35.7
Max CPU stepping: 998 mhz
i dont recommends to overclock the cpu over 850 mhz, but its drain the battery too much and the lifespan of the phone will be smaller...

Zram isn't a good solution for ace. It is very unstable and phone reboots often.
The best solution is to enable KSM and purgeable assets. You must try it because ksm doesn't work good on some ROMs and could make your phone slower while purgeable assets could make slower the phone while you're switching apps in multitasking due to the reload of images from disk.

Install the app Seeder and set the value to moderate. You'll free about 40% of your ram and the device will run much smoother than before.

What? Where did you get this information?
Seeder doesn't free up ram, it will even consume more ram if you are using the Seeder app.
Seeder only makes sure that there is enough entropy in the entropy pool, so the apps don't have to wait until the entropy loads.
Thats why the apps load faster, not because there is more free ram.
