I bet, most of you people are pissed of people like me (noobs) asking all these noob questions over and over again.
As you are my last hope, i have to ask my question anyways... *sorry*
I have an HTC ONE with vodafone "branding". I would like to update as i am using 4.1.2 right now.
I have clockwork revovery 6.0.3.0 installed. I have supersu installed.
When i press "-" and power to startup it says:

So, i normaly would like to update to 4.2.2 as it is officialy released by htc.
As i can not do an update OTA, i need to do something elese :-/
The most important thing for me is, to keep all my data i have on my phone. Is this possible??
Is every method to update combined with a factory reset (all my data get lost)???
And, can i skip the 4.2.2 to 4.3 (maybe the google edt.) as i saw that it can be downloadet?
I like to thank everyone who likes to help me in advance! Its hard to be a noob but like to have a flashed smartphone :-/

Hi everyone, this is my firtstime posting here, always iI find a solution reading the old post but not at this time. I have htc one international (no carrier), this morning i wake up and the phone wont turn on, just make loop booting on htc screen. I try recovery, factory reset and nothing working. So the only way to fix is trying to flash a stock rom but i cant find ruu for this Htc one. Details:

If you still have it under warranty you might want to check that first.

I unlocked my phone and successfully flashed ViperROM 1.1.0 onto it. Unhappy with the ROM, I went to try Paranoid (4.3) and I screwed something up along the way. Now my phone boots up, the carrier information is gone so I get no signal what so ever, wifi doesn't work and the phone restarts at random. I tried to use fastboot to lock the bootloader and go back to stock, but I keep getting a "12 signature verify fail" when I try to flash with the factory RUU for my phone. If you can point me in the direction of a relevant thread or post helpful information in here, I'd be very grateful.

I guess I was just using the wrong SPRINT RUU for my phone. It's all good now, reverted to stock and now I'm on Official Android 4.3
HTC ONE Stuck on Bootloader Screen...HELP PLE
Im really frinking out my phone is stuck on Bootloader screen i root everything was good and for some stupid reason i decided to updated it to 4.3 and after i run it and it restart i just keep going back to bootloader screen try recovery but it will just got back to same screen when you plug into the computer it does detect ti just fine but i don't know what to do this is what is on my screen. i try RUU but is say i have the wrong version (31.1)
and the phone is like completely wipe out. some HELP ME PLEASE , I don't have insurance nor warranty and the phone is like 1 month old

Yesterday i bought HTC One from a local shop and now i um unable to find Check for Software Updates in About of my phone. i researched and came to know that its flashed and have S-OFF . Its running 4.1.2 but i want to update it to 4.3 and 4.4 when it arrives what should i do to get it back in stock state so i can get software updates because i cannot even see the option for checking software update, please help me out i am really worried was it carrier locked and they debranded it? this is what i got when i booted in recovery,

actually thats better than getting OTA
just download a custom rom like ViperOne or ARHD or InsertCoin and
copy it to your downloads folder
reboot your phone and hold volume down and it will enter the bootloader. go into recovery from here and wipe/factory reset and install the rom you copied to the phone. 10x better than waiting on OTA update
Edit: When rebooting the phone you may have a menu with the choice of booting recovery ..choose that

No there is no typo i am getting that exactly OS-5.29.401.13 there .. okay but what i have to do if i want it back on 100% stock, should i change its cid first then flash stock rom ? or do i need to unroot it and make it S-ON first.. i am a newbie. i would appreciate if you could guide me , because i dont want to brick it by experimenting by my own.thanks

First off I want to thank whoever might offer me help in my situation. Here it is... I have had a Sprint HTC ONE since May last year, I previously had an EVO that I rooted myself and wanted to do the same to the HTC One. I think my skill level is betweeen beginner and advanced and can do most commands and execute sideloads and recoveries and such. I started playing with custom roms and recoveries and got in over my head and I am now trying to get back to stock- problem. I have loaded the stock rom but my touchscreen does not work. I no longer care about root- I just want my phone to work and be back to complete stock but cannot figure out how. My girlfriend will attest that on my weekends back home I have spent countless hours searching and trying solutions but have come up short. If anybody could please help me out and give me step by step or exact files it would be very much appreciated. My hdboot screen looks like this
