Get in to Download Mode (Press Vol+ and Power button while it's off) and connect with usb cable PC. Should be appear a partition with one folder only (I forget the folder name) and inside that folder there is a recovery.img file. Replace the recovery.img file with the previous version (extracted from other CWM update zip). Unmount partition then reboot your phone.

Andro-ID RC3 will not accept any other recovery and will be able to run only it's own customized recovery tweaked by the DEV, you need to replace recovery by going in download mode as shown by CK or flash RC3 again through SUT(new)
thank you .... I will try to reflash again RC3, hopefully this works

i have installed custom rom andro-id rc3
which mobile do i need to choose in CMW v 5 ??
My device is spice mi410
please help!
please help guys!!!
Please clarify more
when in cmw
1. press backup currrent rom
2. it says you must have clockworkmod recovery installed before continuing
3. press install
4. it says confirm phone model --- options are like commtiva z71, dell streak, huawei ascend, etc.
5. ders no option for spice mi410 or its variants
6. which phone should i choose?
This is probably the ROM Manager app that you have installed from Android market... This is not the CWM recovery... it's just an app from the same dev... Read to use CWM recovery in the dev section...the Andro-id-RC-3 is already rooted and has CWM recovery installed.. To access CWM turn you phone off and then while holding down the volume up and fire buttons together, press the power button...

Hi
I have a question please do answer as quick as possible it's a request
My device is Micromax AQ4501(or Micromax Canvas A1)
I have installed all the mtk drivers and also flashed cwm recovery but when I boot into recovery mode and connect my phone with PC and open the mtk droid tools , the colour of the lower left corner is green saying A1 root shell. And as we know it should be cyan blue to create backup and also I tried to make backup, while it was green but it doesn't created the whole backup only some of the small files appear.
Can you tell where did i do wrong or can you tell me any other method to create flashable stock ROM backup.
One more question does rooting and cwm recovery effect the stock ROM backup, if not then how I can convert the backup created by selecting backup to external SD card in cwm recovery mode.
Any help will be appreciated , Thank You.

Why are you connect your phone with PC?
Boot into recovery using buttons or app
rooting and cwm recovery don't effect the stock ROM

It is official OTA from google and can be flashed via stock recovery.(only for karbonn sparkle v)
For all android one devices:

Steps for flashing:
1. unzip the downloaded file.
2. CREATE FOLDER clockworkmod/backup inside ext sdcard
3. place the extracted folder (2010-01-01.00.02.00_LMY47V) in clockworkmod/backup.
4. reboot into philz recovery and go to backup and restore.
5. then select custom restore from external sd card, select only system and boot.img.
6. select 2010-01-01.00.02.00_LMY47V and click on boot.img
