Does anyone know a free method to unlock the HTC One, I'm locked to the Three network in the UK.
In the states you can call your carrier tell them you will be travelling abroad and they will give you a SIM unlock code

Guys,
Any one know if it's possible to unlock via software my Incredible S? My phone is from Movistar, Chile and this carrier says that they don't have unlock code for this phone, so they will get it with HTC but I'm waiting since 4 months for this. Also, any unlock code provider like Fast GSM doesn't support my carrier.
Cheers!

They don't work for network unlock. Ring then up again and keep asking to speak to managers, I then got ny code 3 days later.
Or try googling ' incredible s network unlock code'. A lot of them offer money return if it does not work.

Hey guys I bought an HTC one outright from T-mobile and now T-Mobile is saying that I need an account in order to get unlock code. Does anyone know a free way to get code or has the code.

I believe there's a free way to SIM Unlock your device. I also believe that it is achievable when turning off security of the device, therefore making it S-OFF rather than S-ON.
Is there a way to sim unlock without a physical sim card? such as with a code that brings up the unlock window?

Sorry I don't have an answer to that. But I figured I'd mention that after I bought the unlock code on ebay and put in a foreign sim card, there never was a popup window asking for a code. It just was unlocked and I never even entered the code.
From my understanding there is a way for sprint Ones. The method is difficult and was abandoned. Unfortunately we don't know what exactly is need to be done because each carrier model will probably need a different method.

Is there any software available to sim unlock the HTC One to any network?
There was an app on the play store that unlocked my old s3 in one click and I'm wondering is there anything similar for this?
If not, can anyone recommend somewhere cheap and reliable?
Thanks
1. Buy an unlock code online.
2. Contact your carrier and ask for a code.

hi just got a htc one locked to o2 uk is there any program or app will unlock it as i paid for an unlock code and they couldnt unlock it
Well first get a refund for that unlock code.
Since the HTC has been out for a year now if you have been an o2 customer for longer than 6 months if you ring o2 or go to there stores they may unlock it for free.
That's what I did with three and I know Vodafone does that too. Might be worth a try with o2
To my knowledge there is no software or programme on xda that can SIM unlock the htc one

rooting the phone will not sim-unlock it. You must be 100% stock to use the sim unlock code (or as far as possible to stock, i.e stock rom)
Try another sim unlock code or ask you carrier like suggested above.
