So I've been really rockin out lately, but I've become curious. Why aren't there more audio mods for boomsound on the one? If there are and I've missed them I apologize... But my phone doesn't seem that much louder than my wife's gs3. I'm running tranquil currently. Ideas? Mods? Help? Maybe this shoulda gone in q&a if so mods can move it for me please... Just throwing it out there. Happy flashing peeps!

Unless you're looking for an EQ, there's really not much more to do. I'm sure you could push the speakers a little more than what they do now, but then you'd risk blowing them out. I don't think there are any devs out there that want to put that type of risk to anyone.
I'd try Viper4Android. I love that sound mod. Just don't push too far because like eXplicit says, you could blow a speaker. But it's a lot like DSP but with way more features and available tweaks. You can find it in the Android Apps forum, I'll try to get a link but I'm on my phone currently.

A8 and A9 with NEON work fine, I've tried them both and can't tell the difference. Either of the NEON options and you are golden. Just remember that if you are trying to use this with the stock music player you will likely have to put it in compatibility mode or Safe Mode. Maybe even both. You can switch back without worry so play around with it if that is what you are trying to accomplish.

Switch to Mac OS 9. End of all problems.
Go to build.prop and edit your phone identity to iPhone 5. That should make the camera work, although you might want to keep the gray camera anyway to avoid purple lens flare.
Here's a real answer...
Get Vignette app from the play store. Great camera app with some nice editing all in one. I don't even use the stock camera app anymore.

Every other 9505 rom can be ported to cdma so why not this one? is the file system on the two phones different? Im just thinking out loud here but wont this work?

I don't think anyone so far has said it *can't* be done, just that isn't yet the focus for MoDaCo and we'll probably have to wait for someone (most likely from here) to port it.
It's beyond my abilities otherwise I'd be trying to port it myself.

Completely different device. In short, no.
Off topic.. really thinking about getting the Nexus 5. Everything about it screams One killer. Minus the boomsound, N5 > One IMHO.
I love my one. Still enjoy the premium build. I will just wait for the 4.4.

I think they'll pull through. They were first out of the gate (besides google, but come on) with 4.3, and sprint approved the update in just a few days. I think there's a real, solid chance that they will get it done in time, if not a little before (though that seems unlikely).
I'm running out of energy for this type of anticipation.....lets get some good ol cm 7 on this thing haha.

I just miss all the development I had on my S3 and Nexus 10. Not to say development here is stale, cause it's not, but there's only so much that can be done without having kernel source.
Development for the nexus 5 will be awesome. Nexus phones always have official support for everything.
Aosp on HTC phones are always missing some crap or we have to wait for deck to get stuff working.

Yes, Sprint will have this update within 90 days. If HTC is making such a hard push to improve their updating then it will happen. . . what makes it even more plausible is that they state they are unsure as to when Max will be getting it basically stating HTC One is coming first so no multiple device support right out of the gate for HTC.
