[Q] Toolkit to Root Tmobile M919UVUAMDL - Galaxy S 4 Active Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does there exist a toolkit to root a Tmobile S4 with M9191UVUAMDL? I see a posting with a process but I frankly fear messing it up.

[Q] Developer Unlock Interop-Unlock Sim Unlock & Root Tools

I know it's a scary title. I am not completly new to Windows Phone.
So far I have Deveolper Unlocked and Interlop-Unlocked. I then installed Root Tools.
First Question am I SIM Unlocked? (Lost my TMO card so I can't check the easy way
Second Question I installed Root Tools and I have the most current update 8107 or something. When I go to Root Tools I get an error about not having a Samsung phone.
Last Could be connected to number two I tried to Debrand thinking that I thought might Sim unlock but it didn't even seem to debrand still have all ATT programs and start screen.
Sorry if I missed the answers I have been searching around but these are the last things I have not found info on.

Unlock/Root Samsung Note 3 (SM-N900A)

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I used to have AT&T as a carrier for the phone, now I do not have a carrier. I want to unlock my phone and preferably not pay for it I tried the method outlined at android and me and several other site, ( it involves using the number *#197328640#)
I was unable to use this method because I could not find a UMTS menu.
The only other way I found to unlock the phone was to root it. I wanted to use Odin and CF Auto Root to do but I could not find a version for my device, (Samsung-SM-N900A).
Do you guys have any suggestions for me?
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum.

Im in the same place need to Root At&t galaxy note 3 5.0 N900a where can I find the files
You can only network unlock the phone with a code.
As far as I know, all of the note series is carrier unlocked. if it's not, you have to call your respective carrier and ask them to unlock it. Rooting your phone is another story. I just got off live chat with Samsung and they can't remove the bootloader lock on my OC2 N900a. This will prevent me from buying any other samsung product in the future, not even considering the note 7 b.s.
The n900a is an at&t phone and pretty much every at&t phone is carrier and bootloader locked. Same goes for sprint and Verizon.
Didn't realize oc2 also had the n900a as I thought the U.K. And Europe had the n9005.
Most of the note phones sold by a carrier are network locked.

Why no root?

My M7 was rooted and unlocked before I even put the sim card in. What's the problem with rooting the S6 for AT&T, especially when other carriers are already rooted?
I expected to click the forum and already see custom roms, at least de-odexed ones. Then I find out that the Note 4 STILL isn't rooted after months. There's even a change.org petition to at&t begging for an unlock.
I've 14 days to return the phone, and I think I will if I'm not able to root it by then. No point in having a great phone if it's crippled by bloatware and poorly designed software. What are the odds of seeing a rooted/unlocked S6 running custom roms anytime soon?

I doubt there will ever be root or a custom recovery on the AT&T version. Note 4 only got root and that's if you didn't do the latest update. Search around and you will see what I mean. This is the reason I buy T-Mobile and carrier unlock it for AT&T so I can have root and custom recovery. AT&T = Goodbye to Root & Recovery.

Looking to Root my Galaxy S5 AT&T?

I'm thinking about Rooting this phone. Sorta looking for step by step instructions. I believe maybe the first step be to unlock the bootloader? Thanks
If you have lollipop installed, there is no root method and no way to downgrade. Boot loader is locked down like fort Knox as well. Not many devs use this 2 year old phone anymore.

Rooting AT&T Galaxy Note 5 android 7.0

Ive been trying to find a method to root the note 5 on at&t running Android 7.0 and haven't found anything that works. AT&T like Verizon is notorious for locking down the bootloader. Has anyone found a method or can point me the direction to root this device?
