Hello guys,
I have a very biug problem now.
I was with TeamICSSGS and I decided to move from it to Slim ICS.
But because I wanted to be fast I didin't read correctly and I didin't flashed the correct thing.
I flashed the I9000 Essentials and not the base which made the phone bootloop with the touch recovery.
Then I did a factory/data wipe and after the reboot there was no recovery and only bootloop.
Then I decided to flash a gingebread bootloader in the panic, don't know why I falshed it and it bringed me CWM Recovery of which I installed several ROM's with fail because they just stop installing when reac the kernel installation.
Then I downloaded http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1685040 and flashed it, but with some recovery errors and bootloop again.
Can someone help me, please.
EDIT: I did that http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=657 and it worked.
hi I had clockwork recovery and wanted to change it to TWRP. I flashed the immage and now all the files are gone. I'm a newby to android and really need your help. Do I have to completely reflash everything from scratch or is there anpother method? Please help
Do I need to reinstall the Rom or can I somehow get my recovery back? Thanks in advance
Hey guys sorry if this has already been posted. I tried to search through the other threads but couldn't find anything with my exact problem. I am a noob when it comes to this stuff so please bear with me. I was trying to reinstall my ROM when I made the dumb mistake to format system, When I was in recovery I wiped data/factory reset, wiped the cache partition, wiped Dalvik cache, and then for some reason went to format system. After I did that and went to reboot the phone it asked me to fix root. I did this and it started the CWM bootloop. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to fix it?
exitrecovery.zip will stop the boot loop.

Also try this...
Pull battery..
Count to 10.
Replace battery.
Press and hold Volume Down and power until the Factory Reset screen comes up..
Hit the power button twice, once to start and the second to confirm.
This should put you into your recovery mode... There you should be able to install the ROM again..
At least this is what has always worked for me...

It's seems you need to flash an unofficial kernel
help bring my phone back to life
I tried the unofficial kernel, still same thing...
that you for taking the time to read through
i did a repair on this phone, was working fine, then i took it apart today because the wifi stopped working, and now it stays in a bootloop at the HTC logo, resetting after a few seconds.
Does the same thing when i try to factory reset it.
bootloader works fine, i looked in the simlock option, and it sayd SD init fail.
My worry is that somehow the internal storage went bust.
if you need more info, how can i find it?
Again, thank you ever so much
Hello.
Try installing a custom recovery like TWRP. From the recovery try to format everything that you can including the system. Afterwards install the original recovery, lock the bootloader and install the appropriate RUU. If you need help just ask.
Cheers
