I was thinking. Can we hexedit our roms we downloaded from Nokia ncs and maybe developer unlock and interlop unlock our phones via a hexeditor? And then just flash the roms to our phones?
Sent from my Nokia 521 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
Short answer, no.
No, of course not. ROMs are signed and the bootloader will reject any ROM with an invalid signature.

I've been a heavy user of Android for a few years, and flashed several roms, mods and kernels on my LG P500 and my friend's phones. But this phone is a bit different from the other ones i've used, and my budget is a bit low, so i'm afraid of screwing up. What i need is to somebody to help me, with the requirements i need and the process of rooting this phone. Any help of someone who is already rooted would be appreciated. Regards, AnonymRocker.
Just unlock the bootloader and use this tool
http://www.batakang.com/ftp/RAZRi/RootUtility/RAZRi_Root_Windows.zip
Hi TheAnonymRocker
For this phone I tried several rooters but the one that worked was the TATAZEUS mentioned.
Install Drivers and simply execute Root.bat into the zip. Tested on 871.111.20003.XT890.Brasil.en.BR. But Works on 871.111.20003.XT890.Brasil.en.BR too.
To unlock this phone visit Motorola website to request unlock key. Lost Warranty but not the updates for phone.
I'm going to try this method once i get home. Thanks for your help!
Do i need the drivers to use the root tool? And if i screw up, can i possibly brick it?

But the motofail2go doesn't work with the last upgrade either 81.5.31002-81.5.39001.Retail.en.GB or 81.5.31006-81.5.40002.Retail.en.EU, does it?

Yes you've obviously got the root access but you've gained it from the previous version of ics. The last version wouldn't allow rooting without unlocked bootloader as it could be assumed from the experience of those who tried to root upgraded razri.
Ok, i got hone and tried to unlock the bootloader, but when i tried to enter the fastboot command, i got this:
"$" is not a valid command
Can anyone help me?

Nope, rooting is necesary to give some apps elevated permissions. If you want to change your firmware, you must unlock the bootloader, and the use a tool like RSD Lite to flash a new firm over the actual one.

do you guyz think that there will be an exploit that will alllow this ? I came from Xperia 2012 and I don't heard about something like that, and on xperia 2011 if I remember correctly there's one with paid software se1tool something like that and test-point, so with the 2013 lineup there wouldn't be one ?
I tried going back to stock with the RUU in one of the how-to videos posted on here. I have done it before no problem but this time when I plug my device into my computer I get this sound.
http : //youtu.be/ 5L9HIh_V0FE
(sorry unable to posts videos so I had to split it up)
I'm not sure what it means all my drivers are installed correctly but ADB won't recognize my phone and I can't go back to stock.
My computer recognizes the phone when it's fully on but not when on the bootloader.
I'm not sure exactly what is happening so any help is appreciated.
Have u tried installing htc sync?

It means it isn't recognizing your device. Use the all in one tool found in the Sprint HTC ONE forum to reinstall drivers.

Don't do this with Hansoons Kit. it is worthless. Just install HTC sync as it includes the proper drivers.
What version of Windows? If it's windows 8, that's your problem.

Windows 8 has worked with a lot of people for drivers, so that shouldn't be it, however I have the same issue with fastboot and Windows 8 :crying:
Try Windows 7.

Windows 8 works that's what I use for my pc. Windows 8.1 is the one having issues since they have to update the drivers for it

Forget about unlocking the bootloader, its not possible. No over/under-clock for you, no CyanogenMod or other goodies.
All carrier branded phones are locked and almost impossible to unlock.

Only thing I can recommend is to get a generic device instead of a carrier one.
No use lamenting about it here.

is there chance to have -Bootloader Unlock Allowed: No - when my phone is from shop ? ( not from carrier, not branded)
I think that it's not the matter of branded/not branded etc. beacuse I've seen bootloader unlock allowed: yes after I rooted and installed CWM and TWRP; today I've reverted rooting via SPC and the bootloader unlock allowed is back on: no; so I think someone has to look through it to see if you can override it...

I doubt the Sony bootloader will be cracked any time soon as the Xperia T was never cracked and thats a much older device.
Unfortunately that means no custom kernels/CyanogenMod.
If you buy a factory unlocked device the bootloader will be unlockable/carrier branded devices may be locked and not unlock able.. Pretty simple really.
Sorry that I can't help much.
Un-lock Xpeia SP
If you Un-lock the Xperia SP for all Networks, does this make bootloader Unlock available?
If not, any Ideas why?

Nope. SIM-UNLOCK is separate to bootloader unlock.
It just doesn't.
On some old xperia phones you could open sim and bootloader like xperia arc if you used test point method to unlock sim it unlocked boot loader as well.
2013 xperia models that don't have removable battery are no longer able to use test point so you can't unlock boot loader or sim.
To unlock sim you need code which you cab buy from internet.
To unlock bootloader you need to contact your airtime provider and see if they will help in unlocking bootloader again this needs code but not freely available.
