Excuse me , I want help with my Alcatel X'pop cause I like the launcher Touchwiz and I want it on my phone but without unlocking or rooting my phone cause it's kinda new and don't want it to get damaged

I really don't know. But i think the close thing you ca do is to root, but you don't have to flash any custom room. This is through xposed theme engine.
The close you can get without touch the system (like root) is using a launcher (like Apex, ADW, Nova, Nova Prime, Go etc) and then use theme compatible with the launcher.
But remember: the status bar will be the same.

I want to use Launcher Pro as my main Launcher, but I read that it does`nt over ride TW, its just there with TW. My question is, since I dont use TW that much, could I clean it up by getting rid of some of the apps there, or would that also delete or affect apps etc. in Launcher Pro?
No point in having TW packed with stuff when I dont use it that much, cheers!

if you wana get tw deleted...then root your phone ...install root explorer...start root explorer....so to system\app\ and delete touchwiz30launcher.apk and touchwiz30launcher.odex...youw tw launcher will be completely removed...but i would recommend you to have tw launcher....because it wont do anything to your galaxy s being installed there in your phone......but i have also told you the way of deleting it....enjoy

i agree having 2 launchers i think is essential as back up when modding either of them so you can use the other one to fix the one you break if you know what i mean. Just set launcher pro as default and you wont know tw is there.
Any apps you uninstall will be deleted from both launchers.
Ah cheers lads, I`m just trying to have my phone set up so it has as less apps/programs running as possible, I want it to be smoooooth running!
Anyone else have problems setting default launcher? i have TW and pro but every time i click home screen it asks to set default, says the default is set in manage applications...

Try a restart dude, sounds stupid but might work, then select and check the default box when prompted.
Alternatively you could try get a rom from the dev section where TW has already been removed. I don't recommend removing it manually if you're not sure what you're doing..
Also, they're both just launchers, so they just list links to apps. If you remove an app in TW, it will be removed from LP
ive just installed darkys rom can someone please explain why i have two launchers ie launcher and tw launcher - what do these do and which one should i use as my default. thanks
Launchers launch your app. It's up to you which you prefer.

Holo or Go Launcher ?
If you want endless customization I would go for sslauncher. I have not tried Nova. All i can say about Go Launcher is that they do try to push other apds on you.

i have a problem installing nova launcher prime. i cannot install it over the standard nova launcher, thats how much i know
i have the cm10 by pengus which comes with nova launcher and smart launcher.
but i cannot uninstall the nova launcher...i tried it with root uninstaller and deleted the apk in the system/app folder and every other nova folder i found...
the nova prime apk is on my sd card and when i try to install it it tells my that it cannot be installed (because there must be something left of the normal nova launcher...)
how can i get rid of the nova launcher wenn its so deep in the system? i cannot post in pengus ROM thread because i dont have enough posts...
from my experience with apex launcher:
1. you have to have 2 launchers installed
2. switch to the one you don't want to uninstall
3. uninstall the one you want (standard procedure: settings > apps > uninstall)
4. install the new version of the launcher
5. switch to the new launcher
at least this is how i do it when updating the Apex launcher gives me errors...

You can download nova launcher or apex launcher from the playstore, they have the stock app drawer.

Hi,
If you delete Sense launcher without another launcher installed like Nova, Apex, etc... You will have a problem , your phone will be unusable without a launcher, even if it boots.
The only solution is to use another launcher, no other choices...

No as the app drawer is part of the launcher
I suggest you use Nova. Nova is probably the best launcher there is.

Not really. Depending on what you're wanting to change, a launcher may do what your wanting. What are you wanting to change?
You could try Good Lock apk and replace Touch wiz Launcher for Nova or Google Now launcher for a stock feel
