You need to relock first. Then flash stock. So how do we relock bootloader for TX?

i had tried the way you said many time but it didn't work. i don't have TX, i don't know how
if you unlock your bootloader , your DRM key and TA partition will be lost ... then you can't use some sony features such as BE or even track ID ... unfortunately , by relocking bootloader back , it will not bring back your TA partition and also DRM key .. in the other hand , once we unlocked bootloader , we can't bring back some Sony features.
Even there's some effort to bring back the BE to our unlocked bootloader sony ,, but it still no results.....
correct me if i'm wrong
Take it from the boss

This is my understanding too. Bear in mind that as soon as official updates are released a developer here will make it available on xda. This means you often get updates before you would normally (because they are rolled out at different times depending on carrier and region).

stuck on sony logo, u have to use the flashtool for flashing to revert back anything you do for your device..
search the ftf ( with root and deodexed apps ) on the forum, flash with flashtool.
You can bring your device back if you do a right procedure to flash it..

There is no way, and there is no need to temp root xperia z1.. Temp root is only for device like HTC wich have locked bootloader and some added security such as S-OFF. In xperia u have only locked or unlocked bootloader and perma root.

You cannot pre root FTF files. Everything in a FTF file has to be completely stock from Sony

Hey,
I've got a Sony Xperia z1 which I will be selling now and I need to get it to factory settings. Im currently running CM11 and am rooted, unlocked bootloader and have a custom recovery. Are there any guides that will get me back to stock firmware and is it possible to get it back so that no one knows it was ever rooted ?? When I unlocked the bootloader I backed up my TA partition.
Thnx

There's no need to unlock it when using stock kernel but if you want to use a custom kernel, then you have to unlock the bootloader.
then wait for 5.0

Seriously, if you don't know what to do after rooting, then why did you root at all?! :silly:
I don't know. Why do we do anything in this world? Why do you go around forum boards and reply to questions you could care less to answer. Why? Why?
Anyways to update this thread - Since this is my first sony xperia phone, i tried different Gem and Serajr Xposed mods and found them to be a bit buggy. One of the mods even made it so the phone was inoperable from an UI standpoint. I had to go into safe mod and delete them.
I tried to run Rectify without unlocking BL but ran into issues. Dev informed to flash stock boot.img. Then I proceeded to install the CM12 nightlies.. running very well!
Remember to backup that TA!
