And how would you put in on LG Optimus Black ? It is for IDevices, not Android phones.
Sent from my LG-P970 using xda premium
Honestly quite a useless thread... No android phone ever received a ported iOS.
Moreover the chip is not even the same, and there's only 1 home button (requires crazy key remapping). Not only that, there's no iDevices with a screen resolution of 800x480. And I doubt you'll be able to sync with iTunes... Without an iDevice ID, and with a MicroUSB pin...
iOS to far too different to Android.
Whited00r, well they have the appropriate device (iDevice), and a very likeable firmware (iOS)
For them, it would be like porting ICS to a GB android phone.
Leave iOS to iDevices... And it's not open source, they mod the firmware by playing around with the .ipsw
and yeah Mobile Substrate does the trick
man, i really appreciate your concern about stuffs and i kind of like your posts and ideas but please stop creating such threads
its kind of like you are searching for ideas or so but please...it's not... never-mind
take it the good way
I don't really know which one to choose really, I doubt I'd be need to open that many tasks considering 1GB of RAM is a lot, many just like a couple of games, facebook, messaging, youtube. what are your opinions?

I don't think you would be able to install a custom ROM on that device. It's just because there are so many budget tablets and there are no developpers for them.

Rule #1 of xda, search. Search on xda for whatever you're looking for, if you didn't find it, google it. And if you can't find it there, that means it doesn't exist.

Look at the link in the first page of this thread. When you click that link it takes you to a forum for your tab. The FIRST sticky tells you how to get CWM Recovery for your tablet.
I know you did that and backed up your tab before you flashed it so you should just be able to use CWM recovery to restore the backup you made before you flashed a new ROM.
I was in a hurry and didn't back up plus I crnt see anything on the screen

You need to start reading and following directions. It's not difficult but it requires you to actually read the steps.

October??
Considering Android5 KLP could be announced in May...
I would expect that the S3 Models will get that in October (hopefully!)
I would be all for Samsung skipping 4.2 if it means we get 5.... Just speculation

I think we could port it, but i would like to have premium suite (if we get it for our devices) and i dont think that you can install it manually on every device, at least not for now.

Isn't it a problem for porting, that there is a ST-Ericson U8420 (NovaThor) CPU on board? Found a post in the cyanogenmod forum about it (sorry cant link to the outside yet, for its the first post in this forum, and i need 10 ).

I think he means CM10.1

Samsung is obligated to develop new firmwares for 2 years after they launch a new device. So I'm guessing there will be a 4.2 update.

This.
Don't blame the developers, blame Google.

But so far, no one can offer Chromecast support until Google allows it—and for now, only Netflix and Hulu have entered that charmed circle. Google insists that it will open the gates to all developers, someday. Unfortunately, the company refuses to say when that will be.
