recently purchased a atrix maxx hd from swappa and need to know what case will fit it ?
i didnt do the mod but the phone came with the mod done already so i have no idea what plastic to cut or what else to do. i purchased this for work and prefer a case that can help against the weather as i work through rain or shine it doesnt matter.
in advance i would like to thank anybody that replies and helps me
thanks
Otterbox defender works great if you rip out the rubber insert inside of the plastic shell. Make sure to goof off the residue.

It's ok, but the silicone is getting loose. It's around $20 most places online. Incipio brand.
Advantages over otterbox: less dust collection, easier to take off, cheaper.
I've dropped it a couple of times, it's rugged enough.

does it fit the atrix hd maxx or regular atrix hd ?
Yes it fits with the MAXX battery, but there are some gaps between the plastic and the silicone case, which is be expected with a slightly thicker battery.

My Otterbox has minimal dust on it the rubber is made of a better material now and it is very easy to take on and off. Maybe more expensive but I've gotten 3 replaced for free no hassle with the lifetime warranty. So yeah.. Lol
Sent from my PACMAN MATRIX HD MAXX
Yeah, but mine was free! So take that!
My problem with dust is my apparently extra dusty pockets. Dust would always get under my bravo's otterbox. Don't get me wrong, otterbox makes the best cases. I was just giving an alternative.

Imak case and dust bumpers came today..
Fitment ist perfect!
The Nillkin cases do not fit the Atrix HD. I ordered it. It's good quality though....for what it's worth lol
My commuter case came yesterday. TIGHT fit. Takes some doing to get this on straight. But once on its such a good case.
Yea I noticed that with my commuter especially when you do the battery mod. So I went to the defender. Couldn't be happier.

How much thicker is it compared to the commuter.
Not much and with the battery is feels so much more sturdy. Worth It Imo.

My brothers atrix HD with eb40 mod had problems return the defender case wanting to latch correctly. He went to the commuter cuz at least it stayed on. Just his experience.

I had to rip out the rubber on the inside of the plastic. But without that in then it's fine.

I just received my white otterbox commuter today. it looks nice and feels studry, with the screen protector included it is so perfect you could not tell that its there
Ive got a cheap commuter knockoff and with eb40 mod i just cut out a rectangle from the rubber inside sleeve roughly the size of battery and it fits fine.
Sent from my MB886 using xda app-developers app
I just received a diztronics gloss translucent tpu case and it is very nice. Can still see back of phone somewhat and is very grippy and solid case. Fits well over eb40 battery. Also have a nillkin case coming from China in a week or so and I'll share thoughts on it as well.

is it like a floppy plastic or a hard plastic?
Is it hard to get on and off? I had a plastic case once for my Nexus One. It was such a pain to get on and off. I swore no more plastic. So now I only use TPU cases.
been using this on my gnex and ordered a black and grey a week ago for my gn2, cant beat the price, under $2 shipped

Yeah..don't forget is super slippery.
It's annoying when manufacturers don't leave enough space around the charging port. It can be very frustrating to have to remove the cover everytime you want to plug in.

Surely not more slippery than having no cover at all?
I ordered this case more than 2 weeks ago (to the UK). Was dispatched on the 30th Oct. Hasn't arrived yet (I suppose it is coming from a long way though).
I'm not expecting much, just hoping that it's slightly better than no case at all (which is what I normally have).

What's your favorite case for the vivid? I currently have a no name cheap tpu hybrid case from eBay and it does the job. But I'm curious about what you use.
Sent from my HTC PH39100 using xda app-developers app
I have a Spec hard case that I bought at the AT&T store when i got my vivid. It gets the job done but the rubber edges on the cover have started to peel off.
i always use this "s line" case design for all my phones:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Silic...996491?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item5651871c0b
very tight fit... not solid like plastic, but slightly flexible enough to not be flimsy.. very good corner protection... i threw my desire hd on the floor on cement once with these.. landed on the corner and bounced back lol.
also has good grip on the sides as you can see... and its also the only case ive had on my phones that doesnt seem to affect signal
Awesome deal.

Otterbox Commuter I've used for approx.two years.I was taking it off the other day to clean my vivid and the top of the case cracked around the power button.I contacted otterbox online and followed there instrucions on a warranty claim and they are shipping me a new case at no cost. You can't go wrong with that kind of service/warranty.It's been a great case and the phone has taken many drops on concrete with no damage with this case also.

I gotta second this. Their warrantee service is second to none. They replaced a Defender for my Vivid because the rubber was stretching and tearing. They replaced a defender for my son's One XL because the rubber was tearing and case was cracked. The replacements showed up within days, virtually no questions asked. My son is pretty rough on his. The phone would be trash long ago if not for the OtterBox protection.
I've been using an Incipio hybrid case ever since my Otterbox started tearing (see above) and I have only one complaint, the outer hard shell is brittle and can crack if dropped the right way. It survived very many drops and its not cumbersome in my pocket, something I cant say for my old Otterbox.

Mine is the BobjGear case:

About as bulletproof as you'll find, especially if you carry it in this:

Currently using Nillkin Case
Nillkin Smart Wake Up Cover Folio Case
Quality is quite good and my nexus 7 sits firmly
I've had my Portenzo Hardback on my N7 for a long time now. Holding up very well under lots of use.
I have a Red external, black nylon strap, and white internal. It looks similar to the red one in this picture with the exception of the white inside.
That Nillkin case looks great too.
http://tinyurl.com/mtpedjm
This has been working pretty well for me. Makes it much easier to hold, weighs 3.8 oz; no complaints. Although I found it quite funny that they cut out a slot at the side for connecting to the dock when it obviously would not fit with the case on, not that I have a dock.
Moko Slim for the win!...when she's not behind my dashboard
Is the Moko Slim case the only one that has that strap for one-handed use? I really want one that let's me hold it for an extended period without strain.
I've got one of the generic eBay type cases, bought from Amazon, that has the clip style front and it comes with the strap on the inside front flap/cover.

It does have a strap for the hand, along with a place to hold your stylus (one of the few cases that does so, and a well enjoyed feature for me).
I personally don't find the strap to be incredibly
comfortable, and I don't use a it a whole lot. It does, however, provide excellent support for using the device with one (or two?) hands.
The case is surprisingly durable as well, withstanding a head spinning about of drops without the slightest bit of damage to the device (case can be easily dented though).
When you factor in the features, durability and overall slim profile, this case is definitely with your attention. Plus, who doesn't love a stand?

Pictures of the case on the phone would be nice. Use a mirror? I might call around my T-Mobile stores to see if they have this case. One store some cases but didn't really like them. I didn't even try the body glove case because I wanted some color and it looked bulky. Might try it though.

I have to say I like the way this seems to fit. Is it as snug as in the photos you guys have posted? Any issues with the lip of the case digging or lifting up screen protectors?
This cases would fit the at&t lg g2?
